season was far from perfect but the final episode remedied enough of it that it sent it out on a nice note for me.

game of thrones had a disappointing overall final 2 seasons but the final episode was actually pretty fitting. I'm actually really relieved they went out on such a good note given how under par the majority of season 8 was.

the second I saw that girl the first time, I knew GoT would never be the same

pretty much my thoughts.
The season was rushed beyond hell but if you had a normal 10-episode season to properly flesh out all the character arcs, this ending would still fit pretty perfectly as is.

I don't know if it's a "good" ending for the character in her opin io on but Dany's death was perfect for her character arc

I actually really liked the ending.
My issues with the previous episodes this season still stand, but this saved the show from going out on a completely sour note. For me at least.

Not everyone is thrilled with it, but enough are saying it at least salvaged the sinking ship enough to get it to dry land in time.
