Season 1 was so fucking good. Literally a masterpiece. 2 through 5 were pretty good too but only 4 comes even close to 1. It's such a shame that they had to outrun the books. The plot, dialogue, continuity all went down the drain. Also they started implanting their political ideologies and letting the fanbase influence the plot in retarded ways. It's just so disappointing.

The show has been spotty as fuck from the beginning. Even season 1 which is great had some real garbage in it.

The show went to absolute shit after season 4. Like not even a decline in quality, it was a straight cliff from kino to shit. They ignored half the plot points from the last two books and came up with retarded shit and had charecters making decisions completely contrary to their nature (stannis the mannis burning his daughter).
