>Jon gets the happiest conclusion to his story possible, finally free of the burden of his last names, to live with the only people who have ever truly accepted him as a person and not a title as a free man >normies freaking out because he's not the king, a position he would never want
Is he the most misunderstood character of all time?
I'm more upset that this was made to be his "punishment"

>Banish Jon beyond the wall because the Unsullied said so >The Unsullied
What the actual fuck?! Some mercenary army of literal who's. Why not just tell them to fuck off? They left King Landing and went to Naarth before Jon even left; they literally could have done nothing to Jon and the Unsullied wouldn't have known about it.
Asher Myers
pretty sure the greyjoys and dorne demanded it too
Leo Garcia
hes the king beyond the wall
Zachary Watson
when exactly started he calling her dany?

Same thing it did for the last 500+ years when the White Walkers were myth: degenerate containment zone.
Thomas Green
the whole point is that they know not to build a civilization. The Wildings are Anarcho-primitivists
Why the fuck did the greyjoys and dorne feel so strongly about Dany's death, despite her being demonstrably batshit insane? Sure, she was a military ally, but that was it. Dorne only needed bailing out because their usurping rulers went full retard and none of them thought to question it, and the greyjoys were never once under threat from Cersei. Euron, sure, but that was their problem.
And what was stopping Sansa from just telling Jon he could stay in Winterfell? What the fuck was anyone else going to do about it? She clearly didn't care about antagonising them
Zachary Scott
Dorne has always been pro Targ post-de facto independence
Robert Jones
Jon taking the black instead of being executed for regicide is symbolism that law and order has returned to the land, which is in contrast to the first season when Ned is executed instead for his treason against the crown.
Dominic Gutierrez
The Greyjoys don't want a Stark king, and only reluctantly accepted Bran because they viewed him as a temporary solution. Having a Stark/Targ king who could produce children and who won't honor whatever Dany promised Yara would be their worst case scenario post-Euron

>punished jon and tormund turn the night's watch into an ancap private military organization
