Debate me

8>>>>>>>>>>6>5>4>3>2>1

4 is better than 3

I can't, that's the correct order.
The show peaked with Ned.

1>2>4>3>8>7>6>5
This is borderline ubdisputable

Because seven eight nine

3>4>1>6>2>5>7>8

3 has Rains of Castamere, that alone makes it the number 1 season

4 is GoT at it's best, still complex writing with more cinematic scenes

1 is, well it's the original that started it all, an intricate tight political thriller, but it's behind the previous two because it's a bit leaner, grittier and not as entertaining as the aforementioned seasons.

6 is where GoT became "Hollywoodized", what with more features of spectacle above political intrigue, but it done, for the most part, very well. The Door and The Winds of Winter alone make it better than the other seasons, honorable mention would be the Battle of the Bastards with Ramsay's death.

2 was a step down from 1 and is riddled with long boring scenes, despite characters having still obvious motivations and depth in contrast to the last two seasons.

5 is pretty good but it surpassed the books and is full of the Dorne plot and the boring High Sparrow shit before they got blown up. Also too many fucking Dany scenes, I hate Dany until she goes mad in S8.

Season 7 is where the writers go into "fuck it" mode and teleporting is everywhere and dialogue is duller, simpler and everything is reduced to shitty fan service and dragons and explosions.

Let's not even talk about 8.

>Also too many fucking Dany scenes, I hate Dany until she goes mad in S8.

Was meant for why I ranked Season 2 the way I did.

1 - 9/10
2 - 9.5/10
3 - 8.5/10
4 - 8/10
5 - 6.5/10
6 - 7/10
7 - 6/10
8 - 6/10

First we separate the seasons into the golden era (1-4) and the shit era (5-8)
golden>shit, obviously
within the golden era itself we have 2>3>1>4
and in the shit era
6 undisputably>5>7>8

switch 5 and 6 and that's it

2>1=3>4>6>5>7>8

Inarguable

9>1>2>3>4>5>6>7>8

The only correct order is:
1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>rest

>8 better than anything

4 > 1 > 3 > 6 > 2 > 5 > 7 > 8

4, 1, and 3 are the golden years.

6 doesn't escape without some terrible decision-making from D&D (Arya getting gutted like a fish and surviving, Ramsay having more screentime than Roose) but it's generally a strong, exciting season.

2 is expendable aside from Blackwater and the manouverings of Kings Landing, but character interactions and dialogue are written with care.

5 has a lot of instances of poor writing and logic. I guess this might be a good season if you like watching Jon Snow, Cersei, or Stannis, but the bad outweighs the good for the first time.

7 starts off well in the first few episodes, then quickly plummets into irredeemable bollocks, and never improves from there outside of Daenerys/Emilia Clarke.

This. Even in season 2 when the show was pretty good, the writing felt very pandering.

2>3>1>4>fan fiction

redpilled

I agree with you the most man.

I have to re-watch some of these but I remember liking season 2 the best, partially because it has the most number of characters still alive while beginning to introduce new ones. Made it seem like a bigger world with a more multi-layered story.

And season 8 was bad but 7 was the worst.

I think Season 3 is the peak of the show in terms of quality but Season 4 is my favorite season in terms of things that actually happen.

Agreed, but with a yuuuge power gap between 4 and 5

For me it's

1 > 3 > 2=4 >>>>>>>>5>>>=8

1>2=3=4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>7>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

3>2>1>4>6>5>8>7

What even happened in season 5, I don't remember

Stannis downfall, Dorne bullshit, Night's Watch drama and Jon "dying" at the end.

>Dorne bullshit
Ah, and there's why I erased it from my memory

20 good men and bad poosi.

1>2>4>3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>,6,7,8

I dunno, whichever season the most dick in it.

Pretty kino list desu. The fact that Sansa kept the Knights of the Vale hidden from Jon though almost ruins BotB for me.
