Do did Jon join the free folk and lead them north of the wall as one of them? Or will he come back to Castle black to be part of the nights watch again?
Do did Jon join the free folk and lead them north of the wall as one of them...
I don't know.
I don't care.
Considering they killed him once, I'd say he left north.
Also who repaired the ice wall
>Do did Jon join
Ting tang
Walla walla bing bang
Why do they even need an icewall now?
Eastwatch by the Sea was destroyed, not Castle Black.
Notice how many young women and girls were in the group, in shots close to Jon during his march north. They were clearly telegraphing he was going north to repopulate the lands the freefolk previously held
do they need nights watch now that discount arthas is dead?
Well, the WW were defeated thousands of years ago, but somehow became a threat again. Maybe, with time, they'll come back again again.
He's da king in da norfer norf nao, and Tormund is his kween
>The Freefolk who had been fighting to get south of the wall for thousands of years, leaves to go back north of the wall as soon as it's safe for them to go south.
>The Night's Watch which is an organization build upon defending the realm south of the wall from the Freefolk attack, and the fables White Walkers. Jon joins the Night's Watch after the Freefolk are allies, and the White Walkers are gone. Somehow there's still a Night's Watch.
How is the writing this bad
How hard is it to understand that he's in the Night's Watch?
He doesn't want it
No, NK is gone and free folk is chill with the rest of westeros for some reason. Night's watch and wall are useless now.
imagine being this stupid
The Night's watch is basically operating as a police force for wildling fucking shits that step out of line, just like they had been doing for hundreds of years before the others woke up.
You do realize that the Freefolk were given lands south of the wall to build right? Jon granted them that after the Battle of the Bastards. There's no need for a police force for a group of people who have been granted citizenship and been offered land and freedom. Saying "Well, you're going back north of the wall means I'm going to keep an eye on you" is the most retarded outlook from the ending I've seen yet.
I think wildlings are at peace now that they don’t have the threat of the ice king. North is literally the land of the free, ie the USA.
You think the free folk are gonna stay in the north as subjects of Salsa? Fuck that those people would rather literally freeze to death in a frozen wasteland
The nights watch still existing is stupid though, especially with the North being an independent nation now. D&D just needed a way to exile Jon
>You do realize that the Freefolk were given lands south of the wall to build right?
And not all of them settled there as demonstrated in the last episode.
> There's no need for a police force for a group of people who have been granted citizenship and been offered land and freedom.
The entire realm has a police force of some sort, the night's watch is just focused in the north. The Night's watch were pretty much like forest rangers aside from killing wildlings before the show started, quit demonstrating your ignorance user.
>been granted citizenship
Yes well maybe in Sweden every afroghoul can be given a bit of paper but in all of history prior being allied or making pledges is not the same as being a citizen.
or just lip service to the Unsullied to get them off their backs
>oh yeah, you guys probably heard about the nights watch, we send criminals there to do hard time
>jon fucks off to do whatever he wants with his dog and his priceless sword with everyone off his back
Why did they need it in the first place?
>Do did Jon join the free folk and lead them north of the wall as one of them?
she's mah queen
>Or will he come back to Castle black to be part of the nights watch again?
she's mah queen
I DO KNOU SUM FINGS
>The Night's watch were pretty much like forest rangers aside from killing wildlings before the show started
The Night's Watch is literally there to defend Westeros from whatever lies beyond the wall. Since The North already have rangers within the lands south of the wall, tell me again why they would need a Night's Watch when the very reason for their existence is gone now.
holy
BASED
He isn't wearing black. He's going north.
>Do did Jon join the free folk and lead them north of the wall as one of them?
Stay tuned for "Snow & Ghost" on HBO
>The Night's Watch is literally there to defend Westeros from whatever lies beyond the wall.
And they are now an effective police force, just like they were before.
>Since The North already have rangers within the lands south of the wall
The north's rangers aren't prisoners and other detritus. You're really just ignoring any possibilities just so you can bitch and moan.
Why does Sam get to forfeight his oath to the NW, but Jon doesnt?
Or become a Maester. Or Grand Maester.
Because he's literally the only fucking book keeper that actually helped and did his job. The rest of the Maesters are lucky they aren't being executed.
What?
DO DID DIDDILEE DOO
>realm-wide police force
>feudalism
Pick one and only one.
>citizenship of a nation state
>feudalism
Pick again one and only one.
>Nathan Explosion
>realm-wide police force
not at all what I said, learn to read
The Night's Watch is just there to keep an eye out for white walkers, and they only come every few thousand years so they have to find other chores to keep themselves busy which is why they fight wildlings.
Unless the Maesters did something that I forgot about, only Sam was trying to dig up information for the Night King's destruction. Considering who became king, it's unsurprising who was favored.
What the fuck is even the point of making him join the Nights Watch if the only people that want him punished immediately get on a boat and leave the country? It's not like they're going to check in on him. Just tell those cock-less cunts "Oh yeah, he's totally going to the wall."
Then just have Jon hide in a boat for a few minutes.
He left the citadel without forging a single link of a maester's chain. He's not a maester. Never completed his studies. On top of that, the Grand Maester is supposed to be from the maester's own high-council, the council that laughed at Sam. The fatty isn't qualified in any way, shape, or form.
>Jon gets to go to the place he said he wanted to go to and life with the free peoples beyond the wall.
I wonder why they would do this
Did they say that? I honestly got up 2-3 times during the episode to go smoke. I quit caring a few episodes ago.
Uncertain how it works in lore, but I'm pretty sure the new king could just purge them. It's not like they have serious combatants and probably rely on the crown for funding. Which is the point, they were useless in the one time they were supposed to be vital.
haha I'm with you man.
also, given that sansa has become wily, she will have had holes drilled in all of the ships, or paid off the crew to scuttle the ships once out at sea and take row-boats back. no way is she going to let the filthy foreign leaderless armies live and change them returning to westeros.
He will become the new night's king and will take what's his.
Just everything about it was so sloppy. I guess Dany's armies were like Gremlins or something. Just add some water and watch those fuckers multiply. She went from like 50 or less of each to thousands.
considering greyturd's face, it looks like someone already fed them after midnight.
yeah also alot of redheads in the shots
>And they are now an effective police force,
>Nights watch
>effective at anything
Okay now I know you're an idiot.
dumb niggesr are dumb
>niggeser
You can't even spell the name right you waste of air.
As far as we know the night king was the source of all night walkers. I mean we saw them all die when the night king died so theres no reason to assume there are any that remained.
He's the king beyond the wall.
Fucking > kek
