stupid bitch, how long until every other kingdom wants to be independant now...
Stupid bitch, how long until every other kingdom wants to be independant now
They're as independent as Canada is from the US or Austria is from Germany.
Leave the cucks their illusions.
So, what's stopping the rest from just leaving the 6 (formely 7) Kingdoms? King's Landing is ruined, the king has no money and most of the kingdoms still have large enough forces to fight a war while the king does not
What is the point of her having her own kingdom ?
Bran's winning personality.
the queen will marry the king and they will become one kingdom again
why should she give a shit if they do? it will only make the north stronger.
lemoncakes
This, m'Lady Sansa outfoxing everyone yet again - fuck the Souf
I'm amazed the Prince of Dorne didn't immediately secede. Or Arryn since he still has a virtually untouched army and lands
this is one of those situations where GRRM sets it up with the writing and dabids dont get the message across
the north has 10s of thousands of soldiers right there in the capital, most other realms are going through a shakey leadership change and her brother is the king
the north is also massive and shitty to conquer, second only to dorne in terms of being historically independent due to its brutal terrain
Other Kingdoms aren't as big as the north, it's literally half of westeros itself
bro da norf remembers
Literally what is wrong with each becoming independent?
Bran can blackmail all of them with their dirty secrets
> most of the kingdoms still have large enough forces to fight a war while the king does not
no they dont, everyone is in shambles except for robin arryn, gendry and maybe dorne. but the first 2 have close ties to the starks and all 3 are very new leaders
What use is there for Bran then?
Stronger together. Vote remain, incel.
They don't want to see themselves in another badly written war.
Luv me norf
Simple as
>the north has 10s of thousands of soldiers right there in the capital,
[citation needed]
>the north is also massive and shitty to conquer, second only to dorne in terms of being historically independent due to its brutal terrain
Lol fucking no, they just not worthy to be dealt especially since North is just a Wasteland
As soon as North recovers from the war it's doomed to fucked by the next election in 6 kingdoms
>citation needed
they literally say it in the same scene when grey worm threatens them
Bran doesn’t need a use dumb fuck
>they literally say it in the same scene when grey worm threatens them
They just says thousands
they had to write the sequel in somehow.
>we're going to remain independent
>yeah okay that's cool, no problem with us!
What the fuck, they would never just agree with this
Why the fuck would she want to be independent when her brother runs the whole fucking country
What's stopping the rest of Europe from leaving the EU?
>Edmure doing shit
>Tyrion is head of Westlands so he won't break from the kingdom
>Bron just wants his brothels back they where before
>Other three have inexperienced leaders.
I don’t know if this was a historical allusion, but it reminds me of the dismemberment of the British Empire.
This. The entire "King in da norf" shit was because they were fed up with Southern rulers. The ruler is now a Northman. I have no doubt Sansa, being the supreme cunt she is, would still want to be queen, but the lords of the North should have no reason to desire independence.
Germany, who have the most money after England.
Who are these 2?
Anyone with any brains knows that this was a typical feminist bullshit pandering. It makes no sense, but it isn’t meant to.
>we'll pick the king
This shit is going to last as long as I last in bed.
She and Jon promised the north they would be independent regardless of who sat the iron throne. It isn't isn't about her.
That's Lord Saul Goodman on the left.
>Makes a promise to the North
>Upholds it where Jon didn't
How does it feel knowing a woman has more honor than a man?
took her 2 minutes to spill the beans to tyrion lmao
Just like Arya killing the Night King. Cheap attempts to appease the rabid feminists since Dany had to die.
isn't it still the middle of winter? How are they gonna feed themselves without the Reach?
>I want the north to be independent!
Ok. It's winter so crops are hard to gather. The Reach makes 90% of the food and now all that food is staying south.
Sansa is singlehandedly opening up the North to a possible famine.
True, but the North was complicit in the sack of King's Landing. If the show made sense, they should be punished for it.
Bob is starting to look too old for all these prequels.
it makes them even more weak at their weakest point in their history, open to shitskin and cockless invasion
Stark fanservice.
Their leaders, because they want to be part of the globalization kool klub and land lavish jobs in the EU after they're done betraying their constituents.
All part of the master plan, she worked Dany into a shoot intentionally
if the show made sense Bran would never be king. You need heirs for a stable monarchy, otherwise people are wondering about "what's next?" and that leads to rebellions, plots and shit.
>Drogon randomly destroys Iron Throne
>Seven Kingdoms don't disband
>make bran a foreign king with zero legitimacy
if the starks are kings of an independent north how the fuck can he also be king of the other six kingdoms kek
They have a lot more money than England
Lol Germany pays the most in the eu
do you think being independent means being 100% autarkic? there’s trade between westeros and essos, you know. why not between the north and the crown?
Honestly would've been much more kino if the show ended right there
DA NORF
this is a very sneaky sneed post
>iron throne melts
>a spark for each major house flies out and zooms off, hitting the heads of each in the chest
>it was.. the throne, all this time it was the throne, truly it played the cruelest game of all
>TO PEACE IN OUR AGE
Commonwealth my dude
Germany also benefits the most, even after all they give, due to the trade deals.
It litearlly made no sense how the rest of the great houses would be fine with such a BS arrangement especially when the new regime is weak as fuck . If not now they will all rebel sometime in the future and reassert their independence. Dumb and Dumber shoved logic out the window for a stupid YAASSSS QUEEN SLAY moment.
how the fuck does she get any say in independence when the king of the north and heir to the seven kingdoms is in a cell for killing the tyrant dragon woman and none mentions him
the only resource the north has in abundance over the south is lumber. also yeah, they can trade but they'll for sure get a shorter end of the stick now than when they were united.
Everyone sitting around while the Starks have their own independent kingdom and control the 6 kingdoms is hilarious. It would literally never happen. The northmen queening Sansa when they know Jon is still alive and not even that far away is also bullshit.
They have a elective monarchy now idiotfag
>bran
>king
what the fuck is this ending? jaime should've finished him off for good
I almost chocked laughing at that, cunt.
Apologize
'ATE THE SOUF
'ATE DRAGONS
'ATE PAKIS
LUV EH NORF
SIMPLE AS
You’re stupid if you think England doesn’t benefit from the Commonwealth. Anyway, Germany is the EU. It isn’t the 1980s anymore.
It does benefit.
Even with all the benefits, it doesn't have the German economy.
No commonwealth nation will join an economic union with the UK
>stupid bitch
>independant
kek. have sex, read books.
The ending was so stupid politically
Bran getting a dragon
Why would they? Every house now has a chance to sit on the Iron Throne. This is the best outcome for them. North doesn't care about the Iron Throne and wants to be left alone. North and South are culturally too different from each other and two being one kingdom never made any sense.
>stupid bitch, how long until every other kingdom wants to be independant now...
People are acting like she wouldn't be his ally if kingdoms tried to break away. Her leaving doesn't really change anything about his power to keep kingdoms independent or not.
>great houses still exist
>somehow now getting to decide the monarch is going to change things instead of making more problems
have a better tax policy
What's the point of having a unified kingdom? Considering the clusterfuck at hand it probably would have been a more peaceful and more prosperous continent that way
But it's not. Having a chance to rule isn't the same as having a dynasty that lasts a thousand years. All it takes is another Tywin tier autist to come along and there goes your elective monarchy
>All it takes is another Tywin tier autist to come along and there goes your elective monarchy
Something kept the Holy Roman Empire together for 1000 years. It has an appeal to the second tier royalty. They have a say in who rules, and even they can become the ruler. And the ruler has a hard time consolidating power over them because they do not have multiple generations over which to do that.
5 of the 6 are in total ruins and can't survive on their own. Dorne on the other hand is relatively untouched and is basically the major power in the south right now best time for them to rejoin really since they can get rich rebuilding the other 5.
The North is fucked however unless Jon finds some fucking awesome shit beyond the wall. Years of constant war, the red wedding, and the long night have fucked them.
Trade balances don't really matter though.
Yes it fucking does, because Bran doesn't have any troops of his own whatsoever. The north will have to fight his battle for him, so they may as well be part of his realm.
The Honored Matres are coming for us all
wyman manderly on the right?
As a single entity it did last that long yes, but the actual states within changed hands and borders by the year between different lords (or eventually a single family like the Harbsburg) .
The way I see it Westeros will see more conflict between each kingdom and their own bannermen now that those titles are elected. The game of thrones will be played at the more micro level now.
Isn't it implied he can just warg into Drogon now?
The only reason the HRE stayed together so long is because it wasn't really together. It didn't operate in any way like other medieval kingdoms and was based on the principle that the grand electors could do what they wanted.
>Yes it fucking does, because Bran doesn't have any troops of his own whatsoever. The north will have to fight his battle for him, so they may as well be part of his realm.
They will put together an army before very long. And most of the Lords are related to or otherwise loyal to the Starks.
>north is fucked
yeah it's not like Germany rose to power any number of times in their cold brutal country after plagues, devastating civil wars or foreign invasions.
>The only reason the HRE stayed together so long is because it wasn't really together. It didn't operate in any way like other medieval kingdoms and was based on the principle that the grand electors could do what they wanted.
And that kept it together for 1000 years. Why declare independence when you have a massive degree of autonomy?
Isn't that okay then? Pay the most get the most?
>bronn gets to be lord of highgarden just because
Absolute state of that council, i'd want to be independent too
But Dany is a woman too user
And master of coin, no less. The guy who needed a raise 'cause he spent all his cash on booze and hookers is now in charge of the realm's finances.
Oh well, at least I still have ck2 game of thrones.
Germans are a bunch of work loving, ingenious autists, you cant compare them to the north.
The lords we should have seen since season 5/6
Every other kingdom SHOULD want to be independent. Popular sovereignty is not overrated.
She will keep the peace by letting other lords lick her feet.
>Oh well, at least I still have ck2 game of thrones.
Wants to play ck2 got, goes to steam CK2 is still being sold at full fucking price 7 years after release WTF!?
Nope, because almost every other member state suffers economically.
>but Bran, the North has seen too much and will not kneel again.
They won't kneel for Bran Stark, but for some reason they would kneel to her sister? Okay.
I hear you. I only buy that shit when it's on sale.
I'll never buy a new paradox game again. I've sunk too much into ck2 to just drop it at this point (and it's a great game), but I'll never buy a new title.
Let them suffer then, if they are too weak. Or are you a piss poor italian or spaniard? Probably a smelly greek.
No, I'm agreeing with you on that. My point is that despite being an elective monarchy, by the seventeenth century and onward the hre was backward and decrepit.
Look at what Napoleon did. He was an absolute dictator against a supposedly more democratic HRE, but France at the turn of the nineteenth century was far more advanced and modernised than the german states, which is why they were also so quick to adopt his legal codes.
The point is, this kind of weak, elective monarchy is doomed to be weak and ineffective forever because by its very nature it prevents centralisation, one of the most important factors in the development of a modern state.
Even worse when you check all the DLC it's like 300+ and that's with a discount for the bundle. Added to wishlist in case of steam sale, but damn man yeah that's pretty much an instant turn off of anything by Paradox.
exactly, which means it's weak
>the king's first act is to have the largest region secede and declare independence
>king is also a handicapped brother of the woman who lead this rebellion
This wouldnt swim in ANY world, let alone in the world of Westeros.
The 6-7 Kingdoms would immediately fall apart, until there was someone strong enough get them all back under his rule.
It's so obvious that I'm correct, it's literally what Westeros is about, as shown by the 8 season of this
When they first began releasing DLC like that, it seemed like an innovative and promising model. New content, guaranteed free content, and you get more if you pay for it. But $20 each is simply too much. And then, like you said: a few years later, and you gotta shell out $300+ if you want to get the game with all its features. Really stupid model in hindsight.
I'd suggest buying the base game on a sale and then pirating all the dlc.
Howland Reed and Manderly
Whilst the Six Kingdoms to the South weaken themselves with elective monarchy, a centralized Kingdom of the North will be the one to take advantage after Bran dies and they fall into periodical squabbling with each new election. They'll probably slowly take bits and pieces until they have most of the Vale, Iron Isles and Riverlands. If you think of it like the HRE and France, the HRE started off with Lotharingia, Burgundy and Provence, and by the 18th century, France had taken control over all three.

this. there is no incentive for any of the realms to rally behind the rolling throne besides paying taxes.
also why should powerhouses like Redwyne and Hightower accept a literal cutthroat as their Lord.
Why would the ironborn fall back into the fold? nobody cares about their shitty island.
Why should Dorne?
Why should the Vale, which apparently has infinite manpower, bend to the rolling throne?
Also none of them even have a seat on the small council.
The northern houses have preferred Sansa since season 7 since she consistently pushes for their interests whilst Jon is too busy being a moralfag. Not to mention I think they'll remember Jon trying to prevent them from their favorite pasttime during the sacking of King's Landing: Killing Lannisters.
me on the right
>Popular sovereignty
Doesn't exist as a concept by that time. Did you miss all the nobles laughing at letting the masses have any say?
>I'd suggest buying the base game on a sale and then pirating all the dlc.
Not a big fan of pirating, I'm pretty picky about games, so when I find one that shows promise I like to buy them, but in this case just might. No "complete" game should ever even come close that price point.
I feel the exact same way. Hard to reconcile supporting the company/product with that price tag for what is just a video game.
That being said, the 3 most kino mods imho: Game of Thrones, Elder Kings, After the End (fan fork)
Dorne and the Iron Isles should've decided to leave as soon as they realized it was an option. Gendry and Bronn already won big, so they'll probably be satisfied with staying in. Tyrion is actually invested in it working so he'll keep the Westerlands in. Edmure is too weak-willed to break off and Sweetrobin doesn't give a shit as long as he gets to throw people out of the Moon Door and Yohn Royce tells him to stay in. The Arryns and Tullys will probably try to compete for the Throne after Bran dies, but they'll have to fend off the North and the Iron Isles invading their land mostly on their own every time there's an opening.
To avoid accusations of sexism.
