Why did he do it?

Why did he do it?

Didn't want to kill papa Targaryen

Good question.

did he mean fuck kings n sheeeit or did he mean fuck you Jon Snow wtf

either way it was a complete chimp out

>cousin targaryen

He thought it was the throne that killed Dany.

He knew Jon wouldn't burn

>dude you killed my mommy better throw a temper tantrum and burn a useless throne
actually makes sense if dragons have the minds of 7 year olds

Jon burned himself in the first season

>Oh no my mum died
>Time for democracy!
what a reasonable dragon

Why did you make an entire thread for this rather than posting in the sticky? You don't get upboats or gold here for being the OP.

I think the implication was that he understood the corrupting influence of the quest for power and lashed out at the symbol of that journey to destroy it.

He was hungry

Wyverns are so stupid. He thought Danny fell on the swords, so he killed the sword chair. Fucking dummy.

He's a fucking dragon the size of a plane, he could've ate him.

Came here to say this.

If Momma can't have the throne, then nobody can.

This he didn’t want to kill the last living Targ, but Jon killed his rider so he was still super pissed off

It did. OooOOOOOoooOOOOOO

Would've been kino if they showed Balerion resisting his mommy more and more as she became corrupted by her quest for power.

this

not this

He's finna ride back and pick up Jon after Arya meets up with Jon by going west then back up north to the westeros connection.
Jon and Arya learned of some shit like doom walkers some shit story story

The trip of truth.

Why didnt it turn into some anime shit?

Imagine Jon telling the dragon to SIT

No it was this

The show ends with a dragon alive, and we have no idea wtf it will do or where it will go.

My take is that he destructed the symbol of what tore his family apart. Drogon lost his blood (dragons and targs) chasing the Throne.

...

Probably the only non-retarded and contrived character moment in the episode.

For those of you that don't speak Draconic, I gotcha covered:

Fuckin damnit you humans, all you care about is these stupid swords. That's why you killed my momma huh, so you could sit on the swords. Were you not a cool ass Targaryen and my rightful massa, I woulda smoked yo ass.

*Drogon

He could have just tossed him out of the tower or ate him

Drogon is a messy translation of Democracigon.

Nah, he just hate chairs.

Dracarys actually

He saw his mom was killed by a sword and noticed the chair made of swords. He destroyed it because he thought the Iron Throne killed Dany, which in point of fact it kind of did.

that was the equivalent to drywall punching for dragons

i was waiting for jon to do some super combo uppercut move to knock that dumbass dragon on its ass. would have been pretty sick

This was my interpretation

Because he was the only person wise enough to see what destroyed his mother.

bran warged into him so he could use his wheelchair as a throne

He’s a dragon bro, just turn your brain off lmao

the throne accidentally getting melted when she was burning the city would have been more kino. her actions caused her to not get the throne

he's taking her to a mystical healing pool to revive her

>Drogon kind of forgot the Iron Throne isn't made of daggers
BRAVO DABID

The real question is where's he's taking her body to

Her inability to control the dragons was one of the more decent Dany arcs that was forgotten. When they went North the fact that they couldn't eat anything should have been more of a plot point. Perhaps fearing they wouldn't be strong enough to fight both Cersei and the WW Drogon goes south while he has it in him while the other stays behind. Then we get mad Dany genocide earlier and the rest of the season is the intrigue of having to work with her in Kings Landing to stop the WW, plus insert Azor Azhai narrative of choice here.

he recognised that snow won the game of thrones
