The more I think about it, the fact that Yara still supports Dany in this episode is the biggest fucking problem of all. We're supposed to buy that Dany goes nuts because Sansa is a little frosty to her and this leads her to think that nobody's going to want her on the throne, but Yara is still ride or die for her literally weeks (months?) after she's already been killed, and we don't see the "new prince of Dorne" clamoring to put Jon on the throne either.

So what the fuck are we supposed to think? Was Dany literally just insane, then? This shit's only going to work in the books because she won't have the support of any noble houses, but in the show they gave her the support of three and yet that's somehow not enough.

No way. This was executed unbelievably poorly. Like says, in the books it could be kino, but in the show this was hot garbage. Nothing about her motivations or actions as portrayed makes any sense.
