Being a teenage girl is fucking horrible. Being a boy, you get openly bullied and beaten up, which back in the day you could fight back against and establish some kind of dominance or something (though you can't do that now) to relieve the issue. With girls, it's this constant cold war where everyone is your enemy and at any moment your friends could throw you under the bus to gain social capital. Boys won't make up rumours about you just to watch your social life and education slowly deteriorate from a distance.
