>John Wick 2 ending
>OH FUCK NOW WHOLE CONTINENTAL IS AGAINST HIM IT WILL BE LITERALLY THE JOHN WICK VS WHOLE WORLD
>John Wick 3
>nah we will stretch the story some more
The bookcase example of milking
very disappointing
John Wick 2 ending
Yeah, that was kinda gay.
You mean they're teasing for a John Wick 4?
I didn't watch it myself, but that's fucking retarded. Any sane writer would have either had him successfully leave his life of being a killer and learn to settle down again or just kill him off after 3 movies and 1 forced arc
The story of the movie is basically John is being hunter by other assassins, he kills some of them, calls in a lot of favors from people who owe him, gets to meet a guy who tells him about the one who stands above the rest,he goes looking for him, the guy tells him that all is forgiven if he kills the guy who runs Continental, John goes after him, Continental guy says be a big boy John and choose for yourself for once, John is being hunted again for refusing to kill the Continental guy, John shoots a lot of dudes, Continental guy shoots John, Morpheus saves John, end credits
Its not even a subtle teaser, its straight up building up towards the next movie with the "cool quote to build up sequel" at the end
nothing is resolved, everything just moved in the circe somewhat
That's a bit of a shame, I know it's a money faucet but still, what an overall useless movie.
Like imagine this
>Fights off some assassins after him
>Goes after some head honchos at the continental
>Some arbitrary plot device like blackmail or having to go up against one of his old friends
>Entire place is eventually left in flames- cool imagery. No records, no money, no administration, the bounty is rendered moot and assassins are no longer killing people
>John Wick gets a /comfy/ house in some village with his dog, girlfriend/flirting is implied but not expanded upon that much
>Trilogy is concluded, rule of 3 and all that
Wouldn't that be 10x better? I should be the writer instead...
Otherwise okay but why the fuck would he get a GF.
because his wife is ultimately what kicked off the sequence of events and it's sort of circular motion with him moving on so it shows that the story is over and stuff and that
damn, Shoot Man 3 seems a lot more disappointing than Shoot Man 2, bros.
Chapter 4: John kills everyone at the Continental and that one short haired chick
Chapter 5: John kills the high table and/or dies
REMINDER!!
You’re a sub-human retard, if you didn’t think the finale would be a two parter. The movie is literally called “Parabellum” which, if you weren’t an uncultured fuck swine, you’d know means, “prepare for war.” Don’t blame the movie for your uniformed, gay-ass, retard expectations.
my only hope for JW4 is that Morpheus has pigeons that he can call upon his enemies. he just holds his hand out and a bunch of killer pigeons swarm the goons and peck their eyes and balls off.
also the pigeons have little pigeon armor and glocks.
entire movie felt like filler for part 4 since the status quo remains more or less the same just with even more people pissed off at John because they dared help him on the favors he cashed in on.
winston is a piece of shit though and is still playing john to do his dirty work so he can sit at the top.
based
>he didn't catch onto the fact that winston is in on the whole thing and john, winston, and morpheus are going to team up and overthrow the high table
what is it like to a brainlet?
yea. that was really disappointing given how otherwise based the movie was. i understand leaving the plot open for a sequal, but damn. at least give me some closure and resolution to the plotlines i just spent 2 hours watching.
>OH FUCK NOW WHOLE CONTINENTAL IS AGAINST HIM IT WILL BE LITERALLY THE JOHN WICK VS WHOLE WORLD
They explain taking contracts is optional, and some of the assassins that try to take on Wick actually fanboy over him. I'm guessing there's a ton of assassins whose first thought would be "kill John Wick? lol good fucking luck with that!" and they go pick something else.
Wouldn't a gf who would become a wife in the future be sequel bait too?
I think it might have worked better if they had not done that fairly superfluous detour to Casablanca only then return to New York City so that John could return to the Continental for the climax, as that slowed the movie down and didn't add that much to the overall story.
Maybe if they had done the movie nonlinearly and reshuffled the structure, it could have been more satisfying. Like, you see John back in black in the beginning arriving to New York, cut to the past of him having forty minutes left before excommunication and do the library/Chinatown bit, some Continental and Bowery shit in the middle, the passage to Casablanca, show the train station thing and the chase to the steps of the Continental, jump back to Keanu and Halle meeting and the shoot up, more Continental and Adjudicator stuff setting up the power play, Wick in the desert coming back to service, then jump to the third act in the Continental and shootout and armed combat. That way the interest is in discovering how/why is Wick back in New York in black after being excommunicated, so it's more satisfying to see John first vowing to be of service again only to change his mind without it feeling like a cop out and feeling a bit underwhelming when you then get the "see you in John Wick 4" ending.
Did you watch the movie? He was literally against the world for the entire two hours. He survived on deep allegiances and binding blood contracts alone and people were still hesitant to help him. Only at the end after he had found a way back into the life did he reach some sort of safety. The fucking movie ended with that one bitch saying above the table wants John dead and they expect the continental to be helping. Are you retarded??
Go watch another Marvel movie, you absolute pleb. John Wick is patrician pop cinema.
I thought for sure they said 3 was going to be the end. Doesn't surprise me they want to milk it more but this would have been a fantastic film to end on.
