What we do in the shadows
Prolly that Blade TV series
Let Me In
Reddit
Inferior first attempt.
I always found it weird how vampires snarl and show off their fangs. Considering you create vampires by biting them and feeding them your blood, according to most fiction out there, isn't showing off fangs like wiping your dick out?
Fridge.
>wiping your dick out
>wiping
Interview with the vampire is the one that really capture the escence of living cursed for the enternity, an outcast creature who want yo die, but can't, all the other shit is fanboys romantic fiction
>i'm in it for the mangled boy penis
Yeah, you're gay. Probably european.
Yeah? Aren't vampires specialized these days?
This.
You've probably already seen. Recently there was What We Do in the Shadows which was a worthwhile comedy. Show less so.
Thirst
Daybreakers
Lost Boys
>Show less so.
Interview with the Vampire (the book moreso than the film) is reponsible for turning an actually scary and disgusting monster into a faggy antihero that fat chicks and homos lust after. It is singlehandedly responsible for the corruption of a trope. The TWILIGHT franchise sprang directly from its diseased loins.
Valerie and her Week of Wonders if you want arthouse.
>Sabbat Nomads: the Movie
More like pedohouse.
Cosmopolis
>she shows you her fangs
>too small, not even perfectly straight and pointy
>probably never flossed
>she claims she was embraced before she could escap the british dentistry
Always ask your vampire to show you her teeth and never date a fanglet. And have your toothbrush ready, bitches like the foreplay.
Check out the Hammer Horror vampire movies
Vampires seen by others (scary monsters) vs vampires point of view. Why are you feeling insecure about overweight womens And gays? It is obvious thar they Will love vampires as they are, in someway, weird missunderstood crratures who want yo die.
twilight spawned from buffy and angel
finger lickin' good
The one with James Woods or the one with Garry Oldman.
This site is for native English speakers.
Pretty sure it's the same thing that always made women's pussies wet. That she's so beautiful even a monster will cant act civilized for her and die defending her.
Yeah? Kick me out.
It's always weird when vampires have magical abilities like turning into bats, wolves or mist. I prefer the unaltered Vampire myths like Nosferatu from the 1920s or the 70s remake where the vampire is just a really ugly undead person without magical abilities other than paralysing his victim. Also no daywalker magic rings or the female teen desire to become a vampire. It's very undesirable to turn into an actual vampire.
if you dont mind some homoerotism, interview with vampire.
You do realise that all that shit comes from the Bram Stoker novel right?
So?
I'm aware of that. That's why Carpathian Nosferatu stories are so much better. They have nothing to do with the melancholic, ultimate lover Dracula novel.
destroyed Nerd faggot had it coming.
Ugly weird undead monster? Kinda naive and boring character. I rather the more complex and kinda gay vampire, not the really gay like twilight, but yeah, Bram Stoker gay.
Has there ever been a worse character in a show than Tara in True blood?
Vampire diaries gay or true blood gay? It's all the same shit. Handsome guys and beautiful mortal girls who eventually turn into vampires. I wish somebody made a fresh vampire show without the same old tropes.
The Lost Boys, 30 Days of Night, and Interview with the Vampire.
unironically VTM:R and VTM:B in that order
Imagine you become a vampire, who would you like to bite and make it your undead hommie, a beautiful girl or an ugly girl?
do i need mods?
An interesting girl and my dog.
The Nightman Cometh

Sound like a really boring movie/tv serie.
Always struck me as weird how in TB fangs take the place of incisors rather than canines.
Maybe it just looked better on screen.
I really liked the cameo episode. Pretty cool of all those actors to pop in.
For redemption only the new a.i. based hd texture mod.

Truly demonstrated that black people have no place in gothic fiction.
Vampires are a white man's game.
>tfw my mom is a vampire
What do I do? I’ve knlwn for a long time, but I think she wants to turn me now too. Should I let her do it? Anyone else here with vampire friends/relatives?
i love vampires
First 3 seasons of true blood were cool
Absolute plebeian statement.
We can trace contemporary vampire lore in media back to 19th century works like 'Christabel' or 'Carmilla'' (which feature sexy vampire lesbians), 'the Vampyre' and 'Dracula' (which feature a faggy, glamorous aristocrats) and 'The Blood of the Vampire' (which is literally Twilight for Victorian teenage girls). Lesbian and homoerotic undertones also feature heavily in all these works.
Vampires have been the territory of faggots and middle-aged women since day one.
t. vampire expert
I didn’t know him very well, but there was a vampire living on my street for a while. Very nice guy. Claimed to feed exclusively on blood bank stock, although I suspect he was responsible for the disappearance of some asshole who also lived on our street. He once told me a story about a vampire he knew who had been turned at 97 or something. That guy trept trying to kill himself but he’d just regenerate in increasingly mutated and disturbing forms.
I WANT TO FUCK HER BROS
Do you have some vampire recs?
>We can trace contemporary vampire lore in media back to 19th century
In England, yes. In Eastern Europe, especially Romania (Transylvania), it goes way back to the 14th century and has relatively few romantic or gay undertones.
who?
i like those boobies
what does vampire milk taste like bros?

There will never be a multiverse vampire crossover ala Vampire Bloodlines
The Hunger
Blacula
Dracula (1931)
Dracula: Prince of Darkness
Scars of Dracula
>there will never be a proper movie/series that takes place in World of Darkness setting
I don't like her voice
Shadow of the Vampire
Why does it not get mentioned more often?
Depends on what you're looking for.
I explicitly said 'vampire lore in media'. The vague conception of a vampire as an undead entity that terrorizes the living has some cultural precedent going all the way back to ancient history across varying cultures -but those creatures have little resemblance to what we would consider vampires today. They were more like ghouls, revenants, spectres, demons, etc. The only relation a lot of these entities have to the modern idea of vampire is that both are undead creatures and in some instances suck blood (but even that isn't always the case).
The contemporary Western conception of what a vampire is stems almost entirely from certain elements of 18th century Balkan folklore (undead creature rising from it's coffin, feeding on blood, can be killed with a stake through it's hart, etc.) in combination with the aforementioned 19th century literary works. Even if the 19th century faggotry hadn't happened, there still wouldn't have been much scary about vampires because in these Balkan folkloric myths they were just regular people that happened to be undead. No fangs, claws, or scary faces. In fact, vampires are consistently described as looking plump, fat, having rosy cheeks, looking healthier than even a living person, and so forth (all from being filled with the blood of their victims).
Blacula
30 Days of Night
The Hamiltons
Any good vampire anal scenes from brazzers or legalporno?
someone already beat you to it bro, she's got a baby in the oven
Looking for stuff that is less famous (to expand my horizon). Preferably vampires with a lot of character, possibly angst and gloom. Classic gothic influences are nice but not necessary. Not particularly interested in Vampires vs Werewolves stuff.
Can be books/movies/video games whatever.
Only Lovers Left Alive.
Actual Kino.
isn't she /tg/ core though?

The BBC's Count Dracula with Louis Jordain

Byzantium was pretty cool.
Is she a vampire? If yes, why is there a reflection of her in the mirror?
vampires suck
Dude Dracula was literally a porn novel of it's time.
Nips do this far better.
The Lost Boys, and it's the best film of all eternity
Fuck, that's a good one.
The best vampire kino is yet to come. There just needs to be a visionary director to expose her true nature to the world.
You're alright in my book, user.
cast her?
>Let Me In
Imagine being this retarded.
This. At also shows how incredibly gay being a vampire is. It's fantastic.

From tv maybe true blood, even though it goes shittier towards the end.
I don't know. Half of vampire stuff is either shit or forgettable. Then the other half is "guilty pleasure", those classic dracula movies or cult classic.
Looks like Ariane Friedrich, German high jumper.

this thread needs more vamps
Kindred: The Masquerade for tv

Lost Boys for flicks
Vampire Hunter D for weebshit
Honestly, vampire related works are kind of inherently kitsch and not that good. I'm really into vampires, so I enjoy consuming the less than stellar stuff out of pure interest, but all the good stuff is already somewhat popular -there really aren't any hidden gems when it comes to vampire media.
That said, I personally like the early vampire movies of Jean Rollin -surreal, erotic, 70's horror films. In that same vein, Contes immoraux by Walerian Borowczyk, is an anthology of films; one of the stories includes a countess murdering young women so she can bathe in their blood for eternal youth.
Kuroneko (1970) is a more serious work; it's a Japanese film, so the folklore it draws on is unique.
Truthfully, I struggle to name a vampire movie you couldn't find just by googling 'vampire movies', that simultaneously has artistic merit and is worth seeing. The same goes for other forms of media, although a stand of work for me is a manga called The Laughing Vampire by Suehiro Maruo.
How is the Dracula TV series from 2013?
a stand out work*
awful worse than reddit-tier poo humor
lafayette is just as bad, also am I the only one that finds it weird how racist both characters are in this show?
yeah they're tolerable if you edit out tara and lafayette scenes
Blackula
Imagine being this gay.
Dracula (1958).
she was meant to play a femdom vampire antagonist and yet she hasn't played that role yet
yes
Was going to mention this. Decent found footage flick
blade 2
Memorable mostly for the big-titted blonde in it.
Honestly vampire the masquerade bloodlines is probably the best vamp world building there is
Pics?
Blade 2
as long as we admit that the idea of a vamp world in the first place is fundamentally a shitty and retarded idea. Vampires are solitary creatures that have to live as outcasts, giving them a society ruins the most interesting and unique aspect of them.
What exactly did Dracula want in the novel? Why is Mina best girl?
I really liked Martin from george romero and its free on youtube. Watch it

this was horrible, the romance was so flat.

>No proper Vlad Tepes movie that shows him being the hero of eastern europe that he is.
>instead he's a shitty villain the kikes make profit off with lazy lore.
>preferring the American remake
though desu I like that adaptation's implication that vampy-poo might have strung along her pedo-guy with a similar promise as she made to our boy
still, neither of them beat the original novel; that shit's more fucked up, desu
Legacies because tiddies.
>implying bram strokers Dracula doesn’t have the best beginning with the Muslim horde being impaled
I think that's literally the reason they gave. The actors don't have to open their mouths as wide to show them off.
SOOKEH IS MAINE*raises lip*
Makes sense. Still makes the vampires look like a bunch of snaggletooths, though.
Thas the good shit right there
I love vampires

Hotel Transylvania
From Dusk till dawn
Blade
True Blood's intro.
I liked first season and the sex scenes. Wasted time, just like most series, I dropped it after the fourth season and just looked at the ending I think.
Fuck off, zoomer!
>all these hipster faggots not mentioning Underworld
hating popular things doesn't make you interesting
this comes close
this was really good but not the best vampyr kino. Like Shaun of the Dead was great it's still not zombie-kino
It reminds of somebody who's name can't be pronounce as it will bring a lot of cringe here.
Is Underworld even something popular though? I don't think people even hate it. It's very forgettable so people are probably just indifferent to it.
It's somehow popular, by that I mean it has fans but it got so much shit thrown a it, nothing sticks anymore. I always disliked that romantic side of the serie but the gore is still pretty good.
Rick Moranis's Gravedale High.
I love Nandor. He is a beautiful idiot.

I mean popular enough that they just had another sequel not to long ago

The best vampire movie ever made is Interview with the Vampire.
This is an undisputed fact and I'd like to hear some contrarian here dispute it.
Overrated
Elizabeth Titstridge*cough*Henstridge FTW.
So, that explains why she "dated" Pete Davidson
How come not a single movie / book has been able to portray the kind of vampire lifestyle popularized by the World of Darkness?
reminds me of my mother
Tsukihime.
Outstar - outstarwalker
She works in the vidya industry and is a sometimes Twitch streamer.
>The best vampire movie ever made is Interview with the Vampire.
I can't disagree. It has it all - the drama, the costumes, the angst, the homo, the loli. And prime Tom Cruise.

Gravedale High is an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera for NBC Productions. The series premiered in the fall of 1990 on NBC and lasted thirteen episodes.
