Bro I've been wondering why the dragons are spawned in for literally 8 seasons now. We have 4 options:

-GRRM spawns them in randomly.
-Somehow, the burning of king's blood (Drogo's corpse) gives magic to hatch the eggs
-Mirri's singing is somehow magic and is able to hatch them
-or the comet's coincidental arrival is actually magic which can hatch dragon eggs
(Or some combination of them all)

The same thing happens in the books tho. And if im not wrong, Targs on the odd occasion would give birth to lizard like off spring.

It's pretty obvious that a confluence of events happened that led to them being hatched. As soon as she gets the eggs at her wedding party, Dany obsessively takes care of them, cleaning and shining them until they softly glow on their own. Then there's the fact that the dragon eggs are hatched in fire with the lives of Mirri Maz Duhr, Drogo, and either Dany or her son Rhaego being exchanged for the lives of three dragons. So "Fire and Blood" as well as motherly care hatched the eggs.
