Imagine continuing to watch this series after the wedding

Nothing. Common person with a pure moralistic attitude that had to deal with the most degenerate people of society, constantly..

>Imagine only watching the series up to the wedding ep..

Good job on missing out on kino-chad Mark numb nut..

What was his problem with sophie?

>pure moralistic attitude
he was "moralistic" but not actually moral. he's a total hypocrite

>had to deal with the most degenerate people of society

jeremy hit him with a ladle

Do incel anons not get that the point of Sophie is that she was a decent kind person who was corrupted by associating with Mark and Jez and became as miserable and selfish as them?

Do you really think Sophie was degenerate? They went clubbing that one time and she couldn't even really handle it. Mark's problem with her
was basically that she was too conventional (and not in the sense that he would like), i.e., a normie

He was the proof that your intelligence doesn't set your quality of life. Most anons here can understand that being such an asspie fucks you up.

In that same episode Johnson wants to fire her because she's always partying instead of working. Sophie was a slag

That totally wasn't the point though. Look up the interview with Sophie where she talks about why Sophie is kind of a cunt.

mark can tolerate, and in fact can't live without, jez, who is way more degenerate than sophie

he succumbed to the claustrophobic, open office, drone wageslave lifestyle—instead of embracing the elite tradie way of life

the show sort of consistently declines every few seasons in terms of writing with the last one just being the worst decline
>Season 1, best writing and best directing
>Season 2 = 3 still very good
>Season 4 = 5 pretty good
>Season 6 = 7 decent
>Season 8 ok
>Season 9 not very good

did you watch the series?
he had issues in his home life, mostly with his father berating him. Later on it seems apparent his mother is cheating
he was initially going to public school, but owing to financial difficulties with his family, had to attend a state school where he was an outsider and stood out
the show then gives us almost no information on what happens after finishing uni and jez moving in, a period of about nine years. The only information we can gather from the series is that he has had virtually no interaction with women, seemingly no relationships, no friends outside of Jeremy, and owning some fantasy magazine stuff though he later scoffs at that sort of stuff when initially becoming friends with Gerard
