First two are kinos and must be on every list.
Third is a kino, but also weird as balls. If you get into the full on weird shit, if that ends up being an appeal? That's a great one. It might be a weird starter though.
The last two are probably the best examples I can think of of middle of the road Godzilla movies. Those two are actually back to back sequels. They're fun and dumb in all the right ways, but they don't particularly stand out apart from the fact that they don't stand out.
They're a far cry from mediocre or the worst of series, though.

I personally started watching James's Monster Madness with Godzilla-thon and checked out some of the movies based on his videos. Not recent one though.
