Saying this is kino is the same as the retards who praised the opening sequences in Revenge of the Sith.

I assume that's from one of this season's GoT eps, in which case I'd love to know where all these people on Yea Forums calling it kino are because all I've ever seen said about it here, especially starting with the big winter king fight ep, has been negative.

kino

what's wrong with computers, luddite

The opening sequence of RoTS is some of the best CGI ever made and still holds up to this day despite being 14 years old.

>This was all made on computers by incels who wish they chose other careers.
>Saying this is kino is the same as the retards who praised the opening sequences in Revenge of the Sith
when do you get to the part where you put up an actual point?

If you're impressed by CGI then I feel bad for your parents.

still waiting.
there's such a thing as well-done cgi. don't even watch the show but there's nothing wrong with being impressed by things that are done well in movies.

Any argument I push and you'll just shill the "it's subjective BS". If you can't understand why practical effects are inherently superior than you're just another bot.

No no, come on. Back up your point with some actual argument now. Don't deflect.

It's not CGI or real life that determines kino, it's mostly composition.

>better for actors so they actually know what they're reacting to
>it's always far more impressive to do something with practical effects. It has a physical presence whereas CGI is easy to detect
>John fucking Wick
>etc etc

there ARE things that can be done better with CGI at this point, again stressing when it's done well.
>you're just another bot
you seem like the bot considering your "THE WAY I LIKE IS ALWAYS INHERENTLY BETTER IN EVERY SITUATION NO MATTER WHAT" logic.

I mean this shit has been discussed ad naseum so if you seriously need me to regurgitate shit that is known to even someone only beginning to inquire into film then what's the fucking point?

CGI can be an amazing tool when it's used to augment rather than create things. And even wrt creating whole things witch CGI it can still look fantastic in the right circumstances (see the T-Rex in Jurassic Park for an example of both, where they blend a real giant practical T-Rex -- at least the head and neck, haven't seen it in a while, and use full CGI for the body when it's walking in the rain at night.
Thinking that practical effects are the only acceptable thing to do under any circumstances is just as stubbornly retarded as thinking everything that can be CGI should be CGI.

I don't disagree with CGI augmentation but people are praising full-on CGI shit.

Entire fucking movies are done on computers. It's just a fucking cartoon at that point.

>jelly of CGI artists
>jelly of RotS kino
>seething with rage that anons like something he doesn't
have sex bitter incel

The opening sequence of ROTS was kino though

>Entire fucking movies are done on computers
yes, those are called "animated movies" and some of them are good.

Ever watched Beowulf, my boy?

It's Disney.

Well we are in this discussion now, so elaborating on your view is hardly much to ask for. No need to fill this place with even more shitty dead end threads.
