It looked fucking awful

Did it flop? I don't remember hearing much about it either way after it opened, which is probably a bad sign.

It scorned the original viewerbase in favor of desperately clinging to Marvel's coattails. The only people who would've seen it resented them for it.

because it didnt flop

no

There are dozens of Snyderfags, dozens!

It came out at a really bad time, and was put up against other juggernauts. I think it was a pretty good movie, but anything is going to get flogged when it's sandwiched in between Captain Marvel and Endgame.

Not enough Mary cleavage.

It was a fun movie.

It was the most by-the-numbers superhero film of late. And it ends by introducing 6 supermen into the DCEU.
This film literally fucked any hope of recovery after JL

And those dozens where the only ones who would've watched that pile of garbage

It did pretty well when you compare it to Detective Pikachu

Real capekino doesn't make much money

The kid and the adult didn't have the same personality at all.

they did, but the kid was too wooden when he was being a jackass and making fun of others so only the dramatic scenes stand out for him

Too scary for little kids, too juvenile for adults, bland villain, cheap looking effects, got lost in Endgame hype

>certified fresh
Is this on the actual poster?

only a version of it

If you can’t see how this movie not only carries forward the themes Snyder introduced, but provides a fantastic contrast in personality between Supes and his perfect foil, you’re really not paying attention.

It didn't flop.

>flop
>made a profit
>sequel and spinoff announced
???

You're right, I don't pay attention to capeshit

It made less than Ant-Man. That’s pitiful. Shazam is way more iconic.

Any movie that makes less than 2B is a flop according to Yea Forums accountants

>implying AquadChad or Venom flopped

You have to account for marketing budget which is usually 10-50 times the production budget

I watched this the other day, it sucked.
The superman "cameo" at the end was just desperate and sad.

>makes 3.6x its budget
>flop

Literally a man baby movie.
