>he had no ulterior motives at all and was just a sincerely nice old dude who always tried his best to help his beloved Queen Cersei
Did anyone expect this?
He had no ulterior motives at all and was just a sincerely nice old dude who always tried his best to help his beloved...
went out like a bitch
A clear sign they forgot the plot, he had his own experiments underneath the citadel that were all meant to be as strong as Gregor Clegane.
Presumably they would have been sent as an attack at Danny's forces and/or defending Cersei/usurping her - but nothing happened.
>sincerely nice
He was the Mengele of Westeros. The fuck?
I'm sure he just needed one or two components more to achieve his Death Star.
Obey your Queen Ser Gregor
Qyburn kind of forgot he was evil
What did he do that was evil?
The show Qyburn wasn't bad/sketchy like the book Qyburn. He was just before his time in terms of his experiments.
On the show he only ever experiments on the biggest asshole rapist baby killer in the world
My mom laughed at his death and it filled me with so much rage but I love her and realize he fits under the characters women will never understand category so I bit my tongue and let her carry on enjoying the episode.
Have sex with her
vivisection?
Merely scientific research
>HELP, HELP, THE HAND OF THE QUEEN HAS FALLEN
what were they thinking?
How did you get a picture of far-into-the-future Liam Neeson?
I also laughed. Because I was spot on when I had no expectations for his character development.
God I hate when I'm right..
>people still don't realize he warged into Dany when he died and that's why she went nuts and killed everybody
Do you even watch the show
rogerh res neeuq ruoy yebo
Why did this meme ever die?
>ulterior motive
he was doing it for the cunny
I think that Clegene acted out of character. Clegane always loved cersei and was 100% loyal and would fight to death for her.
The show and books(I think) don't indicate that he has any ulterior motives, he just wanted a place that let him do his research unimpeded
Qyburn was nice to kids by giving candy, he would never harm a child, he would never violate a little girl underneath the red keep after gaining their trust.
No no no no
>We have scorpions. All they need is one good shot.
>Your grace, I'm afraid the scorpions have all been destroyed
>The Iron Fleet holds Blackwater Bay, Euron Greyjoy has already killed one dragon, he can do it again
>Your grace, I'm afraid the Iron Fleet is burning
>Well at least the Cleganebowl is still fucking confirmed
>Your grace, I'm afraid the Cleganebowl has been canc-
serious question
is human skulls actually that fragile? the show makes it seem like your head will crack open if you bump into a wall
get a load of this idiot
Mountain was already the strongest man in the entire world when he was alive and Qyburn made him even more powerful
He tried to stop the HYPE
>I think that Clegene acted out of character. Clegane always loved cersei and was 100% loyal and would fight to death for her.
The Mountain's loyalty to Tywin/Cersei was only a vehicle for him to do what he wanted(brutalize peasants with impunity).
I'm not sure the books will have the same setup for "Cleganebowl", I don't think Sandor and Gregor really want to "settle the score". It's more likely that the two will fight in Cersei's trial by the High Sparrow.
>get a load of this idiot
I'm all for having a discussion, don't waste our time with petty insults
My goal in life is to become like Qyburn, I already have a giant robe ordered, once I have it I'll re-watch all his scenes and begin to emulate his style of speech and personality
Mine fuhrer...Steiner
It's just little nonsense moments that you can write off because the show is shit anyway but I couldn't shake a subtext that Tywin was the only person Gregor was ever actually afraid of and Cersei was the only person Gregor ever actually liked.
In their brief interactions, both of them visibly *brighten* and that's noteworthy because of how miserable they are typically
he was probably paid very well, lived in royalty-grade quarters as hand of king, could bang the finest whores, eat the finest foods, and have access to any tech/medical supplies he needed for his research. the bottom line is Qyburn shows what a man can get if he proves his worth to a powerful monarch. imagine being the right hand man of queen elizabeth. you can probably do whatever you want in london.
what Qyburn lacked in a strong body, he made up for in a strong mind and very gentle way of talking. The guy is convincing without being obnoxious.
>>what Qyburn lacked in a strong body, he made up for in a strong mind and very gentle way of talking. The guy is convincing without being obnoxious.
>Literally me in real life
Problem with the show's "Cleganebowl" is that it literally serves no purpose besides delivering fanservice for the masses.
they're not that fragile but he's an old dude and at that age yeah you're pretty much made of tissue paper and glass.
Why are Americans so ugly? Do they actually use makeup to make themselves less attractive on purpose or something?
>It's just little nonsense moments that you can write off because the show is shit anyway but I couldn't shake a subtext that Tywin was the only person Gregor was ever actually afraid of and Cersei was the only person Gregor ever actually liked.
True, but Gregor was only scared of Tywin because Tywin was the real source of Gregor's power. A rabid dog without a master, no matter how savage and powerful, will eventually be picked apart by a pack of smaller dogs.
>white, but with dark brown eyes and dyed hair
Is this the essential mutt look?
top left is cute
>Problem with the show's "Cleganebowl" is that it literally serves no purpose besides delivering fanservice for the masses.
Yes, it's a characteristic of the last few seasons. George told D&D that the two will fight in some capacity, then D&D try to make it happen, but the details of how and why the two are fighting are a little off. In the books it probably won't happen because the two need to have a cage match because the audience wants to watch them duke it out. The conflict with arise because it will suit the story in a direct sense, not because the audience wants it to happen
*hand shakes while taking off glasses*
kek
holy shit they're all hot
Imagine the smell
Wheneither you believe this character is evil or not is the greatest normie test there is.
Necromancy in the GoT universe always comes at a price paid in blood, though we don't know how he conducts his experiments precisely. He also had his little birds murder Pycelle and arranged the explosion of the Sept of Baelor.
