Riverlands are more like "generic interior of country open to raiding", which suggests the lower parts of northern England (Riverrun is similar to York), if it's even supposed to be a parallel to that area and not somewhere on the continent, maybe Belgium. Vale is mountainous, so if it's like anywhere in Britain it's Wales.
Stormlands are coastal eastern England, Westerlands are southern England. Reach is probably France or medieval Normandy, while Dorne is more or less explicitly a direct copy of the idealised Muslim invaded Spain.
