They made up a stupid OC arc about a big bad ice man who's EVIL, and wants to exterminate the humans because he's BAD and MEAN. Then they set up Jon to be the marvel movie hero who'd stop the bad guy, and then ebin subverted it by having some other character whose arc has nothing to do with the bad ice man stop him instead.
