>"Stark we need you to help us invent time travel"
>what? That's ridiculous, no.
>hmm... well I've got like 20 minutes, why not. Computer, invent time travel
>"Time travel invented, and might I say you are looking tall today sir"
>I'm a genius
>Damn, now I need to think about if I should time travel to progress the plot and my character arc, grrr this dilemma is so hard
This is a film adults enjoy.
"Stark we need you to help us invent time travel"
This so much
>how did you solve the paradox problem
>paradox problem?
>might want to look into it
Would it have been kino?
>"Computer, destroy Thanos and resurrect all the people he killed."
The time machine inventing scene was racist. Shuri should've been the one to do it by bypassing the synapses.
>He doesn't know how to invent time travel in an evening using his superpowered AI
Pathetic
Or the compressor
I invented one using cleverbot.
honestly the way they handled it was reddit tier but these movies are reddit so yeah, expected.
In science there is no such thing as paradox, basically the future doesnt exist yet or isnt connected when you arrive in the past, its not a parallel world you arrive in and you certainly don't create a new universe, you just were born at the point your time machine arrives as far as time is concerned. if you don't get this you are beyond saving so dont worry about debating it.
It's an edit of a quote from the first iron man with the icing problem.
They should have used it because then it might have been kino.
Oh i see. appreciated user
Literally Kung Fury levels of writing.
are you saying tony stark is a gary stue? cause that's impossible
He didn't invent it from scratch , he altered pimms work in a field he only freshly had the chance to explore before being snapped
Opportunity occured
An american with a beard wrote this. They should have sex.
>moves diagram on screen
>right clicks
>inspect element
>HOLY SHIT
>In science there is no such thing as paradox
How can you be sure about any of that when, as far as we know, backwards time travel isn't possible, or at least no one has done it yet?
The way you're explaining it, would backwards time travel effectively erase/delete the future you came from?
Meaning if you traveled back to say 2009, from here, the universe of 2019 would be gone and there would be no way to return to it?
>"Time travel invented, and might I say you are looking tall today sir"
KEK
read the comics where this stuff happens in The Avengers. If you then take issue with the source material they are adapting why are you watching then making smug this movie sucks posts?
Issue isn't simply with "inventing time travel", it's how Tony seems to do it too easily.
They should have had a somewhat longer scene with a few more models failing, show Tony getting frustrated and cynical about it, and maybe provide some sort of brief explanation for why the successful model works, when others didn't.
>it took 20 minutes
>I don't understand editing
If there's one thing that Endgame brought to light, it's how many brainlets there are on Yea Forums
>"computer load up time travel, please"
>Toni stark trying to invent time travel
>years pass buy he is struggling decades pass and as an old man he finally invests it
>goes back in time and gives the secret to young Toni
In a movie about time travel, why did they completely forget that's what one of the stones is?
Perhaps none of them could have used the stone without Strange's special training, or the stone doesn't exactly allow travel that way, but why does no one even -suggest- using it that way, once they get it?
Could have been a way around the limited supply of Pym particles and number of trips.
Tony should've just synthesized his own infinity stones
But how do we make new infinity stones? We need tissue from an Asgardian.
Thor, do you happen to have kidney stones? It will make this process much much easier.
>computer load up celery man please
>he invents time travel by watching a ball go around a mobius strip
I had to laugh when I saw it, obviously capeshit is turn-your-brain-off tier but I couldn’t believe that was what they went with to represent time travel.
why are you asking him like he actually knows about time travel? it doesnt exist
That's my point, obviously it doesn't exist, but he seems to think some strict scientific rules apply to it anyway, or that somehow there is a "correct" version of it.
There should have been a scene where tony stark from the future travels back in time to give him the secret. He could talk about how the future is shit, and that would also convince Stark to do something.
wow this would have been kino
