Manu is up there in terms of most kino tribes ever, even if the season as a whole wasn't great. Every single member had entertainment value. The David-Kelley proxy war carried the season for like 4 episodes, Devens-David broship was fun, Wardog was great, Lauren was hot. Reem was fun on extinction, Keith was another black guy who couldn't swim, Wendy was insane. And Chris came in with a big dick move to secure the season.

i liked it until double boot episode, then it became a Rick show and he didn't even win in the end lmao

Manu carried the season. Joey Amazing kept his tribe out of Tribal Council so we got a lot of Manu early on. Keith and Reem were good and didn't overstay. Wendy was pretty much the star of the premerge and David vs. Kelley lead to some great votes. Seeing Rick in the premerge though, you'd never think that he would blow up as much as he did. There was also some good stuff with Joe, like actually trying to give him a personality.

Par for the course and Wardog looked great. Like he was running circles around these chumps. Then we get the double boot followed by Wardog and Ron and suddenly Rick just dominates the edit. But he didn't win, and the actual winner was invisible for most of the season. So uhhhhh yeah fuck this gimmick.

Gabon is a top tier season, this one was bad to mediocre.
The Fang tribe had unreal entertainment value.

Even redemple temple was better; a proper sendoff, and it doesn't create a situation where the person who spends the most time there is the automatic winner based on how close they are emotionally to everyone voting for a winner. If the jury were smaller, Gavin probably wins. The experiment was cool but it ultimately rewarded absolutely retarded gameplay.

Cochran is saved by this, but he (Judas) betrays Ozzy and flips on him, temped by the devil (Coach). Coach, Sophie, and Albert run the game from there, w/Rick & Brendan as allies. Coach additionally had Cochran and that weak asian chick. The three of them made a run. The alliance of 5 was a cult at the end was a cult that ran the entire game (even called out by early redemption island boots). It's nuts how it all plays out. Better on a rewatch. End of rant

Yep. Survivor is a social game. Coach recognized that Brandon needed to be kept under control and formed a fucking religious cult on a desert island and got his whole tribe to buy into it. He got Cochran from the other fucking team to buy into it. I think it's the best social game anyone has ever played on Survivor and he just fucked it up with his dragon slayer autism at the end.

What happened with Brandon in Caramoan should retroactively just give coach the win in SoPa.

Disagree. Her social game was shit compared to her run in Micronesia. She played great strategy, but didn’t take any time to form bonds with the heroes, aka the majority of the jury. Even she knew that Sandra would beat her if she made it to the end because of it. She even warned Russell about it twice. If she got rid of Sandra and took Jerri, it would have been a perfect game.

Call me crazy but I'm fine with One World. It had a cast full of idiots but a lot of the more entertaining, drama-creating idiots went deep in the game like Tarzan, Kat and Alicia.

This season is worse than Redemple Temple, in the sense that the winner was voted out day 8 and had two chances to make it back in, and then won due to an extended jury and positioning. At least Boston Rob was a reasonable winner in how he controlled the game

Wardog had the most impressive game of anyone this season but he did it too early. None of them deserve to win.

I said it when he got voted out and I'll say it again, whoever won the season (Chris) would have Wardog to thank for it. He was the only one who had the cajones to take out Kelley, whose alliance was reaching critical levels of power with the right voting bloc and two idols in Lauren and Kelley's pockets. David/Devens was the second biggest threat and he cut the head off the snake there too.

Yeah, the moves left him as the biggest target, but if they hadn't happened when they did, Wentworth would have run away with the game and NOBODY would have had a chance.

It was patently obvious for weeks that he was the EoE returnee. He got a bunch of confessionals of "I wanted to play perfectly but I failed. I need to redeem myself." They should have played up Joe and maybe Aubry too so that there was at least a little mystery going into the challenge.

The Exile stuff in general was the most ridiculous part of the edit. I felt like there was no point in the gimmick when it never showed the exile guys interacting or suffering or planning or ANYTHING.

the first couple weeks of live feeds are great because there are so many people and you can watch then manipulate and scheme in real time, but they only get boring with a lot of downtime when you're down to final 6-7 when they pretty much know what the plan is

Reem, Ron and Lauren. Even though I was rooting against him I'd watch Rick again. I'd like to see more Victoria but I don't think it would happen.

We had a great season just a few months ago with DvG. The show is still capable of being good, but the EoE gimmick was clearly a dud.

Victoria is unbelievably likeable and unironically played the most strategically sound game this season. She played a stealth game so she probably won't be invited back but Jeff seemed to like her but who knows.

They take pretty much anyone if they think you're good TV. I'd argue Devens actually had a pretty decent advantage coming in with fat to burn. He hit a second wind late in the game while Lauren and Victoria withered away and was a physical beast.

Unless you have a pre-existing condition that would get you killed out there they could take you. They have put people with only one leg on the show before. You also have to pass a psych exam. But they have let some fucking sketch people on the show before so I don't know how rigorous that is.

All she did all season was roll her eyes. Don't know how people find her endearing

She clearly suffered the island conditions because for some reason her body rejected rice and she still made an honest effort at almost all immunities. I wasn't a fan of hers but she was hot, her personality wasn't atrocious, and she made it pretty far even after her meal ticket Wentworth was canned. She wasn't great but she wasn't bad TV.

Can someone please explain to me why the fuck I find Aubry so god damn attractive? I just don't get it. Lauren is a fucking smoke show and Victoria is qt as fuck, even Aurora is nice and /fit/. They changed it a few seasons ago in order to let a wacky idol man win. F4 is no longer actual Survivor, instead the Immunity winner picks one person to automatically proceed to the finals while the other two make fire to see who stays.
