This subject was extensively studied by Oxbridge-clique Anthropologist J.D. Unwin. Other Historians and Anthropologist have published works on the link between social collapse and the breakdown of sexual norms, but Unwin's work was far reaching and completely conclusive. I'd really recommend you read all of it, I enjoyed it, and found it interesting. There are other Anthropologists and Historians (Toynbee, for example) that have touched on this stuff, but it's far less complete and thought out, whereas Unwin's case is bulletproof. If you do go through all of it, I'd recommend Hopousia last. It was never finished, and was largely just a compilation of notes for another piece that was posthumously published. Unwin was well-known enough at the time to have Huxley, the Brave New World guy, volunteer to write the forward for it, though.

All you really need to remember is his stuff has been out for nearly a century and none of the central arguments have been debunked yet. Attempts have been made, they've all fallen flat.

Yeah, honestly, I was generally pretty active in "Far Right" communities until I read Unwin. I legitimately thought we stood a chance at fixing things around 2012-2015ish, but it'd take an absolute miracle to turn things around at this point. Unwin's probably one of the few authors outside of Counter Enlightenment thinkers that's truly "blackpilling."

The worst part of this is that Unwin was actually in favor of gender equality. Not the modern sense, of course, but the idea that women are seen as individuals with rights (with an understanding that they'd largely have different roles in society) was seen as foundational to what he was proposing. He thought that without that recognition, society would bend towards harem culture, which is what he blamed the failures of the Islamic world for.

In short, we could very well be erased by a people who aren't even doing it correctly, just slightly better than us.

For what it's worth though, there is reason to assume that Islam might not be so resistant to what's gone on in the West. That's not a good thing at all, there's no "hope" in that, it's just an interesting anecdote.

I've been with a few cute girls but for the most part the only reason I consistently get laid is that I get into relationships with homely women. I get where incels are coming from because if I was just slightly more autistic or just a couple inches shorter or just a little funnier looking I'd be screwed. They are correct about liberal governments being the biggest problem, but as you alluded to in your previous post, I get the feeling that they assume there's a sense of urgency (ie, carve something out before the Muslims or Chinese can dominate), which I don't feel exists. Another problem with WigNats is that they tend to support political violence. Let's just take morality out of it, for a moment. As far as Spengler (And I completely forgot to respond to that portion of your post, sorry), I'm familiar with him, I think Unwin is kind of there, at least in the broad strokes. The real difference boils down to Spengler largely dealing with abstract, intangible concepts that animate the trajectory of history. Conversely, Unwin's a rationalist & empiricist. He sees history as cyclical, but he walks away from his book with a very formulaic view of social organization. Healthy sexual inputs=healthy society, and so on. There's a bit more nuance to it than that, but I don't think the Wikipedia summary you linked earlier really did his view on the cycle of history justice.

A cross-analysis would be interesting, but it probably hasn't been done, the two seem to appeal to different sorts of people.
