TES has much a much deeper timeline but suffers from the same "zero progress for thousands of years" problem ASOIAF has. You could however rightly argue that TES has lost a lot of knowledge due to the collapsing empire, the great war and the oblivion crisis though, but that still doesn't explain how utterly unchanging the years the empire lasted were.

kirkbride is a true autism master, GRRM might be a better soap opera/dramatist but there's nothing in asoif that matches ES, specifically morrowind's lore. kirkbride went to school for this shit, studying comparative religion, which is why ES lore gets trippy and eastern the further you dive into it, whereas GRRM is just muh dragons but hey at least it's compelling. no contest, TES, it's not even close, GoT lore doesn't matter because its value is on its face
