That scene felt a little out of place. Looking back you have to wonder if larry wrote it strictly for his own enjoyment.

LARRY YOU MOTHER FUCKER COCK SUCKING CUNT, GET DOWN ON ALL FOURS AND EAT ME OUT RIGHT NOW YOU SICKO!

She was a codependent manipulative leech. Not exactly a strong character.

IRL only ugly women ever become truly "strong women". Pleasant looking women become, at best, spoiled incompetent bitches.

Using that logic then Wormtounge was a strong character because he manipulated and controlled King Theoden.

what the fuck does forced mean

Attached: Janice.jpg (1280x720, 56K)

Strike Back was full of forced stronk womyn. Also I'll never forget the episode where the American dude saves a woman, and even though she wants to fuck him he refuses because that would be taking advantage of her in her traumatic experience. What a huge faggot

She was so much like my crazy grandmother that after she died and my dad and I decided to rewatch the Sopranos my dad had a mental break and LARPed as Tony for like a month to cope and kept calling me Meadow instead of my real name. Good times.

what did she bring to the table? it seemed like the organization was avon->stringer->brianna->bey

...but she did nothing

No Malcolm in the Middle? Im too lazy to get a picture of her.

Not OP but I assume it means a female character that strong in order to push a message/agenda or emasculate the male characters and not because it's interesting or improves the story.

Gracie isn't forced though user. Neither was Ronda Mitra.

Honestly my favorite female character in any tv series

I know I just felt like commenting on the show as a whole, which to be honest has a lot of dumb feminist shit in it from what I recall, although it varies from episode to episode.

Huh, I had no idea she has a PhD until now.
She seems like she'd be cool to hang out with and marry

>strong in order to push a message/agenda
Not necessarily. Forced strong means that the character is strong without 'earning it', and that strength is the primary characteristic.
This applies to male charters aswell - Achilles in Troy, and Superman for example.

Characters who are justifiably strong are ones who earn their strength through their other characteristics (such as intelligence, courage, manipulation). For example: Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Janice Soprano, etc.

this old bitch

still the best female character in any cape shit

But characters born with their strength can still be entertaining imo, it doesn't always have to be earned. I think the most important thing is that, like you say, their powerfulness isn't their only notable trait.

All that matters is that the character is in a well written script

Not like she was extremely significant or anything. But she did stand up for her son and manipulated Avon to get her way. She was relatively strong.

>controls the literal king, the highest authority
>no one realizes it, keeps at it for years
" b- b- but he wasn't strong because it wasn't directly his power!"

mommy

What's your point? He was meek and a coward, and he only had power by proxy.

Retard. She hung over Tony until the end of the series, haunting him.
