This new Pennywise has to be the scariest movie monster we've seen in years. Literally years. There's two scenes in this teaser that absolutely sent shivers down my spine. First when Witch-Minion runs naked and finally get to see Pennywise's face at the end. its scary and epic.
The movie itself seems to capture that 80s feeling we've seen in Stranger Things and other important work. Do your part and see it in theaters. Be a part of history. youtube.com/watch?v=ainv8UizP2M
>This new Pennywise has to be the scariest movie monster we've seen in years THE FUCKING BABADOOK WAS SCARIER
Austin Green
THE BYE BYE MAN?
Caleb Kelly
>The movie itself seems to capture that 80s feeling we've seen in Stranger Things and other important work. Do your part and see it in theaters. Be a part of history. Is this bait? The first movie was set in the 80s, this one is set in the 2010s. In the book, the childhood part was set in the 50s, the adult part in the 80s.
The trailer is pretty good though, i like their approach to show one scene, instead of a little bit of all scenes. The scene is actually my favorite from the book, the adaption is ok. I'm looking forward to the movie.
>part 2 teaser The advertising shills are revving up, I see.
Brandon Davis
For who, Sophia Lillis or Amber Heard?
Blake Morgan
Most based clown so far
Ethan Perez
Wow now I will definitely go buy a ticket to go see the new It movie
Samuel Brooks
It'll be more retarded jump scares and overly loud music. As shit as the all round production was, the original IT is still far better than this shit purely because Tim Curry is creepy and scary as fuck unlike this retarded Skaarsgard Pennywise.
Oliver Collins
at least put some effort in your shilling, you cancerous shitstain
Joseph Collins
WHen I saw the first IT in 2017, I couldn't sleep for three nights... shit was on another level. ALl I could do was try to immerse myself even more into the movie and the children characters. I ain't seen bravery in these here parts since the Goonies. Their courage helped me go through the darkness and sleep without a sedative. I was 28 at the time by the way. This hasn't happened to me since I was a little girl watching a nightmae on elmstreet in theatres.
I'm 31 years old now, and this new trailer freaked me out more than the first movie. They're actually trying to up the ante and make things even mpore horryfing than before... and so far they're doing a damn good job of it. Scary. Not sure if I'll be seeing this one... yet I'm attracted to it at the same time. Powerful stuff... I'll probably just wait for the reviews and spoilers rto come in before I go and see it, ust to prep my mind, because this movie looks like it could traumatize battle hardened veterans.
Sorry for few typo's, trying to type this all up fast on my phone.
>the original IT is still far better than this shit purely because Tim Curry is creepy and scary as fuck unlike this retarded Skaarsgard Pennywise. Based. The TV movie was scary without trying. This new movie is tryhard AF.
Wyatt Wood
But homophobes are actually just closeted homosexuals, I read it in some Jewish study. That must mean is actually a homosexual. No wonder he wants the homo scenes in it the faggot.
Josiah Taylor
I missed this meme
Nathan Scott
Babadook was kino.
The women was going mad from mercury fillings leaking into her blood. Next time you watch it notice she gets crazier and crazier until she pulls her own tooth out.
Jeremiah James
That's not how that works. Her condition wouldn't worsen, but the brain damage wouldn't just go away
Elijah Martin
>There's two scenes in this teaser that absolutely sent shivers down my spine
Tim's take is definitely superior in everyway, other than that the original hasn't aged very well. They tried too hard with the 2017 pennywise and ended up missing the mark. He was too creepy, no kid is going to go near that fucking thing.
I really wish they would just do a miniseries. There's too much fucked up shit to cover in the book to try and do it in two 2 hour movies. I would gobble up 10 hour long episodes. Then we could get an entire episode of some psycho kid smothering his baby brother, giving out awkward handies, and killing animals. God it would be glorious.
>This new Pennywise has to be the scariest movie monster we've seen in years. Literally years. There's two scenes in this teaser that absolutely sent shivers down my spine. >acting like an autist makes you scary
No wonder women think betas are creepy.
Justin Barnes
If memory serves she never recovers completely. She still believes in some real monster in the basement of the house.
She is still crazy, just not aggressive.
inb4 it was all a metaphor, it wasn't.
Jaxon Davis
Probably not. There would be a fucking shit storm AND most people won't appreciate that kind of horror.
Steven is a fake bitch for insisting that he was just trying to convey some kind of symbolism about the transition to adulthood and blah blah blah... He did it because he was trying to write a fucked up horror, doing what ever he could to make the reader feel unnerved and uncomfortable. The "oh fuck man really now this? Fuck fuck fuck" of the whole thing. Put it on the page and make the reader squirm and fucking deal with it. You know, Atmosphere?
That's not how the 2017 film was set up to be, they pulled alot of punches, so this one won't be either.
Justin Allen
I hope this film actually has more Pennywise the Clown. I get that he's a shape shifter, and some of his other forms were entertaining, but I want to see more scenes like the Georgie one.
Cooper Baker
Unironically something like that happened in my village about 25 years ago
>Woman goes berserk and tries to kill her family >She says she heard voices telling her to do it >No other signs of mental illness >She's just using it as an excuse >One of the interviewers is standing next to her while she signs some forms and hears Terry Wogan's voice really faintly >Woman says she can hear the voices again >It turned out that her fillings were picking up radio frequencies >Some local memers were using a shortwave radio transmitter or something to make meme radio shows about spoopy stories >But this woman was picking the signals up and thought it was voices telling her to do harm to her family
In her head it sounded really loud compared to what other people could hear. It's like when you block your ears and chew something, or just talk really quietly, it sounds loud to you, in your head, but to other people it sounds really faint if they can hear it all. Stay safe bros.
Easton James
Yeah I liked it. Way more than the original.
Tim Curry being peak Tim Curry is always amazing but everything around him in that movie sucked about as hard as it could.
The new one sticks the landing on all aspects. Very good adaptation that captures the essence of the story without being a slave to the text.
That doesn't make any sense with how the scene is written. Its pretty blatant that its about the transition between childhood and adulthood. He makes a whole thing about them "confronting It" and how children refer to sex as "It." Its not about fear because at that point, the kids had won and the adults had wounded It again, and had begun chasing It to finish it off.
Mason Collins
>The new one sticks the landing on all aspects
I wasn't a big fan of how they nerfed Mike
Jose Peterson
Is it suppose to be funny lel
Levi Long
I'm sure that will be addressed in the second part.
Even if they took the more bookwormy aspects of them and stuck them in the already bookwormy character, he's the one who stays there and keeps watch while doing research.
Dominic Martin
Why give Mike anything to do when being blaqqque is a sufficient character motivation.
Ryan Rivera
I find him more effective than other monsters because he's a petty shithead. He's that faggot kid who tortured animals for fun with superpowers.
Kevin Richardson
Well, it's not JUST for fun. Fear makes his victims taste better.
Jose Morris
how much did you get paid to write this garbage
Xavier James
Well racism plays a larger role in the book, same as homophobia, and I think it was a mistake to cut it out. Runtime is always an issue with book adaptions (except maybe LOTR)
By giving Ben his role as historian they pretty much made him a token character.
Jaxon Gonzalez
It was... ok OP. Hard to find something actually scary nowadays. The granma trailer though was more creepy than scary but still fine.
Connor Phillips
Fear itself is also an essential part of It's diet. It has a "cousin" in the dark tower series that feeds off of laughter/joy or whatever.
Keeping in mind that King isn't exactly a genius so much as an entertaining writer.
Logan Moore
based New Line/WB shill
Kayden Jackson
Got a name for this? I am curious
Ryder Wood
>3 minute and 11 second "teaser" Trailers used to be 90 seconds max and there was only one. It's supposed to tease the movie, that's the whole point. You don't need to summarise the whole flick in 3 lots of 5 minutes.
Camden Evans
Not him, but on Yea Forums contrarian day means contrarian year for every year, so yes, it's contrarian day.
Michael Watson
>Do your part and see it in theaters. Fuck you shilling faggot.
Connor Campbell
Just buy a ticket alright?
William Allen
So you bump this thread that was dying with your reply and call OP a shill. The irony.
Liam Clark
be a part of history, user. this will the cinema event of a century.
Liam Nguyen
This is just advertising the film what happened to this place?
Aaron Morgan

Why do gooks inspire such a deep, primal rage in me?
Easton Morales
Who's that boy next to pennywise? He cute.
Leo Torres
That's me and thanks!
Levi Allen
dont worry about it, its a shit movie and I have no idea why its rec'd here
Zachary Carter
Probably because they are not the same race as you.
Liam Brown
IS It's origin ever explained or more fleshed out in the book? always wondered that even tho the move was kind of mehhh, it's origin is the only thing that i find interesting just like Jeeper Creeper s but the lore is never explained or expanded.
