>We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground
What did the normies think Dany meant by that and why are they so outraged now that she has actually did it?
>We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground

The retarded kind. The real problem is that it happened too suddenly.
It wasnt rushed though dany said that in season 2 when her dragons were still little not to mention all the other cruel and evil things shes has done during the series, it has literally been built up for almost 10 years just subtly
Didn't she scream that shit in frustration and defiance when her dothraki horde and she were barred from entering qarth and were literally on the verge of fucking ignominiously dying in the red wastes? I'm sure you only had good intentions in choosing to omit the context of that scene.
>Didn't she scream that shit in frustration and defiance when her dothraki horde and she were barred from entering qarth and were literally on the verge of fucking ignominiously dying in the red wastes?
So?
She was posturing to Qarth, because her and her entourage were on the brink of death. There was definitely foreshadowing, but this was absolutely a heel turn. I enjoyed the turn, and Drogon demolishing KL, but the shorter seasons(and the imposed rush to finish the series) have tainted all of the events of this season and the last, and that's not even accounting for the writing in general.
So one could easily argue that she was trying in vain to intimidate them to allow her entry into their city, you fucking retard.
>fucktards are applying modern 21 century standards to Daenerys in order to justify D&D retarded writing
Daenerys didn't suddenly become the only character to be good just because you -owned-the-libs, she was butchered and rushed just like everyone else
These hacks didn't even tell Emilia that she would turn bad until the last season so she could adjust her performance, did you think it would all magically fit?
But now we know she wasn't and that there's now evidence of there perhaps being some truth to her statement user.
Not him, but don't call people names
she still threatened to burn down entire cities full of innocent people just because they wouldn't give her what she wanted sounds pretty psycho
You mean the same horde that few days later pillaged the entire city?
Go dilate, nigger.
So this is the power of autism...
>burns dothhrakis
>burns slavers
>burns people left right and fucking centre
>burns king’s landing
>wtf that’s so out of character for Herndon’s why did they ruin her character
Literally. Fucking. What.
All cities she marched through are in ruins.
>didn't warn her
Maybe if she read the books she would know that, because only brainlet would miss her entire theme.
>applying modern 21 century standards to women doesn't work
I'll take your word for it
>hamfisted emilia
>adjusting her performance
lmao good one
You mean the city that tried to steal her dragons and kill her after faking hospitality? I get that you're a bunch of trolling little dipshits, but could you trannies at least put forth some points that aren't blatantly, retardedly disingenuous and intellectually dishonest? Would that be so difficult?
It's crazy to think about how little dialogue we've gotten in this season. They are rushing to the finish line, and instead of using the time as good as possible, i.e. maximizing the amount of dialogue and giving characters somewhat fulfilling send-offs, they waste it on stuff like 25 FUCKING MINUTES of Dany burning KL while Arya runs around and looks scared in complete silence. Then we get 3 min of Arya petting a horse. And that's even without mentioning the clusterfuck that was NK battle. What little dialogue we do actually get is usually inconsequential and filler talk like "I duhn want to be king" for the 20th time and so forth.
You could probably fit all the important dialogue from S8 on a single A4 page, even though it's been something like 4-5 hours long now. It's like a case study of how horrible writing can completely destroy a work in spite of decent/okay directors, set builders, film crew, FX department and actors. It's bizarre.
>Normcucks right now
Lots of repeated dialogue, especially from Jon. DnD's self imposed rush has been the biggest mistake of the series, and I genuinely find it hard to believe that Disney cash made them do it. They didn't even need to do 10 seasons like HBO asked, they just needed to do full 10 episode seasons with the extra long episodes as needed.
this. girl was mentally unstable. they even said it runs in her family, surely she is the exception though
Ive always found it odd how so many people just overlooked the fact that dany has literally burnt someone alive EVERY season many of them posing no threat and they still thought she was some kind of hero when she was clearly already becoming a villain
Yes Because civilians wanted to steal her dragons. Oh Look, she killed them all.
>Has every reason to believe she is the messiah due to 'muh dragons and fire immunity'
>Believes it's her right and destiny to rule the world
>Has almost never given anyone a merciful death. She made them suffer.
>Has Threatened to burn cities since season 2 and has needed to be talked down multiple times
>Has repeatedly ordered the death of people without a trial just because a general group opposed her. Killing unknown innocents.
>Has become more obsessed and cold.
>Friends and advisors have died and failed her making her feel alone, with no one left to reel her in.
>Someone else comes into her life with the better claim, now must accept that she wants the throne not out of birthright but because she just wants it.
>Falls in love and then get rejected
>The people don't love her here as she no longer has the liberation angle to go along with the conquering.
>Cersei has killed her best friend making her want revenge.
Who could have ever seen this coming? It's not in her character!
There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked
Isaiah 15:21
She said it a second tim when the masters regained control of that one city. Tyrion had to alk her down. She said it a third time when her Invasion didn´t went as planned. Jon had to talk her out of it. But yeah totally surprising and out of charakter to destroy Kingslanding after things didn´t went as planned and no one left to talk her out of it.
