>We wanted to give the audience hope in this triumphant moment >The Starks finally getting to beat up on the Lannisters >Get the audience really excited, give them what they've wanted >But then turn it into a horrors of war moment, women being raped, children killed >Is this still what you want? >There's a great scene where a Lannister is helping the people of King's Landing run away, in what is perceived as this "bad guy" armor in contrast to the Stark army that is noe killing the women and children >And at the end of this moment, our savior queen Daenerys, is losing it on the people of King's Landing and burning them alive >It's horrifying, but apocalyptically beautiful at the same time >I think the audience is going to be sick and I'm sure a lot of them will be pretty upset >it's going to be a lot of fun
Unironically based, they shat all over the 'team Targ' ' team Stark' faggots and normies are seething watching their heros commit war crimes in the 11th hour. This season will go down as a classic once the dust has settled
Easton Reed
holy fucking based
Eli Sullivan
>>I think the audience is going to be sick and I'm sure a lot of them will be pretty upset >>it's going to be a lot of fun >What did he mean by this D&D bait and switched SJWs and made them look exactly like the mindless NPCs they are... in hilarious fashion.
The epitome of a woman... >mentally unstable >can't lead properly without male advisors telling her what to do >hates her own race >gets rejected for sex, goes crazy >make freeing king's landing all about her >wants to flood the west with immigrants >overly emotional >virtue signals to others but inside a heartless cunt >low IQ and controlled by feelings etc.
I'm glad the normalfaggots are upset but I'm tired of kikes subverting everything
Leo Lopez
source pls, I don't believe this is a legit quote
Matthew Hernandez
Yea Forums is a giant cespool of shitposting, but we(?) have seen through this idiot from day one. I'm kinda proud.
Blake Anderson
>This season will go down as a classic once the dust has settled Haha, imagine actually believing this.
Levi Brooks
The autistic fanbase genuinely believed this was a series about the chosen king and queen defeating the dark lord and then winning a righteous war before ruling justly until the end of time
DnD smacking them the fuck down will be remembered as one of the greatest creative decisions of all time
Brody Robinson
It was pretty ridiculous that the Northmen decided to go apeshit on the Westermen. When Grey Worm started slaughtering surrendered Lannister troops, the Northmen should have realistically stared in disbelief for a moment before turning on them and trying to save as many people as they could from the barbarian army, who we've been told they don't even trust except for their orders from Jon.
I liked the episode but the Northmen being white Dothraki was totally unbelievable.
Luis Myers
I dropped the show a long time ago but I did recall saying if D&D actually had the balls to go with the Mad Queen ending for Dany, I'd respect that. I still can't forgive them for what they did to Stannis or Jaime, or how God awful their writing is.
But they at least kept one of Martin's core purposes of the books.
The Northmen aren't all noble like the Starks. The Boltons were northerners, it's not hard to imagine them taking the opportunity to rape and pillage.
Ayden Davis
Literally nobody believed that. I just thought the NK wouldn't be a jobber and we wouldn't have 2 back to back "actual final boss" twists.
The books will just be the WW and Euron as the twist final boss in a much cleaner, smoother, and fuller narrative
Tyler Cook
To be honest, that was masterfully done. Instantly, I went from kind of liking Grey Worm to wanting to see him dangle from a noose. Those Lannister soldiers were literally just normal guys trying to protect a bunch of women and children.
Samuel Watson
Sorry I ever doubted you kikes Absolutely based
Joseph Diaz
The worst part is realising that those nice Lannister boys Arya hung out with were probably part of the guys being massacred in that scene.
James Diaz
That is absolutely retarded. Razing, raping, and pillaging are the exact natural result of sacking a city. Jorah literally explains this to Daenerys point blank.
The northmen have 0 compassion for their opponnents or anybody south of their realm. They barely honor each other. We just going to forget the Boltons now or what the Karstarks did to the lannister kids?
Kayden Wilson
>Lannisters were the good guys for the entire series >We just don't realize this because we were given the PoV from evil characters Obviously.
Juan Martinez
Jon’s lack of leadership there was embarrassing. He should’ve turned around and shouted “the first man to take a step forward hangs!” Or something. He’s their fucking king, they don’t take orders from the dragon bitch. They worship him like a god.
>Actually thinks the Lannisters are the 'bad guys' instead of one of the great families fighting for the throne Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Wyatt Edwards
>He should’ve turned around and shouted “the first man to take a step forward hangs!” One man can't take control of a crowd of thousands when the chaos has already started. Dany set the tone as soon as she started torching everyone after the surrender.
>He’s their fucking king, Not anymore.
>they don't take orders from the dragon bitch they do now
Charles Hall
I think they were part of the loot train
Andrew Johnson
That's not how any of this works, you simple-minded NPC fuck.
Nathan Peterson
This.
The Northmen are ethnically and culturally distinct form the Andal-born southerners, and hate their guts for conquering them and murdering their leaders time and time again.
Charles Roberts
Imagine believing this season hasn't been Pleb Filter of the highest tier
Liam Gomez
>What did he mean by this But D&D probably had nothing to do with any of that.
Nicholas Gonzalez
Not him, but it kinda is. At least in so far as they never wanted to follow her in the first place and only did so because Jon made them. In a way, betraying their trust and loyalty. If he goes back on this too, he'll look like a turbo bitch.
Caleb Gutierrez
As soon as the Lannister men picked back up their weapons it was on
Jordan Hughes
I was totally expecting a in fight between Grey Worm and Jon at that moment
Nolan Perez
He and Dabid made the "tolerant" left take a hard look at themselves just long enough to get them 2016 Election level mad. I loved every frame of that episode.
Hell, this episode actually made me realize why the Night King got cucked. D&D took the destructive message that the Others were supposed to bring, and added an extra layer by making Dany wreak that destruction herself. Night King was meant to teach that Death is the single greatest enemy of mankind. Dany's story is about Death being the true enemy AND that even the most beloved leader can become Death's avatar. Utterly, utterly based.
Considering he's gonna have to kill Dany now we might get this fight.
Sebastian Scott
>Last 3 seasons were absolute streaming piles of shit >First 4 episodes of s8 were bombarded with hatred and criticism because of nonsensical writing moments like Dany forgot and chosen goblin. >The moment a character cheered by SJWs and NPCs as saviour of oppressed minorites and patriarchy demolisher ends up being the villain incels do a full 180 and defend show to death. That's what people mean when they say /pol/ is as annoying as crazies they complain about.
It's just a seething tranny. Only an idiot would judge an entire season on an episode by episode basis. I didn't like episode 3, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because of course it was just a part of the overall season. Like said even episode 3 and all of its shittiness did help serve the narrative purpose that only came to light last episode. Now that I know what the fuck D&D are getting at I'm liking this season better. Better than fucking season 7 at least. It's not great, but it's gotten out of being the worst season of the show.
Ayden Rogers
I legitimately like Daenerys as a character now Come @ me
Alexander Adams
If you genuinely are not a fan of and do not appreciate the art of trolling then you should be range banned off of this site.
Charles Jones
So do I. I don't agree with her character, but this is the first time she's actually felt like one. The more I think about her actions the better she gets, too. She was a fake Mary Sue the entire time, but the signs of her burgeoning madness were all there from the start. They were just easy to ignore if you actively tried to agree with her methods. The reason all these people are going insane right now is that her true colors are impossible to ignore now.
Samuel James
What do you mean retard? The reason Grey Worm attacked first was because Dany already started napalming the whole city and do you think Lannisters troops were going to stand there waiting to get scorched?
Colton Baker
Jon gave up that leadership. If Varys was wrong about anything it was that Jon would make a good king. When the chips are down and there are no other options, then sure, he can lead. The thing is he's always more than happy to pass leadership on if he can get away with it. His past actions support this and so do the finale leaks.
