Was he the only actor that was so based he was able to play 2 characters in a shared movie universe?
Bill Paxton
I hate forced memes, but it is pretty cool he was in an Alien, Predator and Terminator film. Too bad they couldn't find a place for him in Robocop.
Shit, I never realized that until now, but the answer is no. Chopping Mall had two characters that were in at least one other and maybe two other shared "universes".
Bump
WHYDONCHAPUTHERINCHARGE?! :(
>was able to play 2 characters in a shared movie universe
What does this mean? When did Paxton do this?
Alien and Predator are in the same universe. Bill Paxton was Hicks in Aliens and pic related in Predator 2.
Aliens (1986)
Predator 2 (1990 and this film shows a Xenomorph skull)
Then AVP happened, so..
>able to play 2 characters in a shared movie universe
This has happened like a 10 times in the MCU alone. Alfre Woodard was one of the main characters in Luke Cage and had a major role in Civil War. if you want to say Netflix isn't canon here's Starlord's mom and also some thot that wanted Cap's dick in the 40's.
Actors play multiple characters in the same movie all the time: Michael J Fox played a whole family in Back to the Future 2, and Peter Sellers played Muffley, Mandrake, and Strangelove. For two examples that come immediately to mind.
alien, predator, terminator, die hard, commando, blade runner and soldier are in the same universe. sorry, no robocop
why didn't he want elephant balls?
You talking about based dick miller?
No sir. I'm from Kentucky
Based Paul Bartel & Mary Woronov fan.
>Two characters
Not Dick Miller. It's the main characters from Eating Raoul who are also in Chopping Mall for some bizarre, but fun reason.
dick miller always had the same character name whenever he was putting in a cameo so maybe these movies are all connected
Play the best character in the movie? That's my specialty!
>die hard
>blade runner
checked but the dates don't match at all, probably don't make sense with the others either
You ever see Scream Queen Hot Tub Party?
No, was talking about the couple in that movie who roll their eyes a lot, but yeah, Dick counts! RIP Dick. :(
>Based Paul Bartel & Mary Woronov fan.
ZING!
/Ned!
/RYERSON!...
>Mary Woronov fan.
She was great in Night of the Comet. Based character.
I think you're forgetting someone obvious.
Oh shit
>no! have you!
joe pesci played a cop and robber in home alone
Can someone explain her shared universe, please? I haven't seen all the AvP films and not all Terminators as well.
>shared movie universe
fuck off reddit
why don't we ever see the cop again? Seems like a missed opportunity for gags
Not actors, but:
E.T. established a connection with the SW universe when E.T. exclaimed "Home! Home!" when he saw Yoda during Halloween in 1982. In 1999 one E.T. was in a scene of The Phantom Menace, then later for video releases more E.T.s were added to the scene.
lance henrikson was in T2 and aliens
my bad he was just in the first terminator
>ass like a 10 year old boy
the entire concept of shared universes is for autists who can't into mystique, I don't give a shit what the creators say or think, shared universes are almost always gay and zero fun
She was John's foster mom in T2.
Right, but how is T2 related to Aliens?
regarding starlords mum, does the timeline add up? could it have actually been the same chick?
Listen, Mr. Gatekeeper/Actor, you may be right, but the E.T.-Yoda thing is cool.
alien films
>Aliens
predator films
>Predator
>Predator 2
avp
>AvP: Requiem
all the rest are silly and pointless, don't waste good canon on them
>gatekeeper
you're goddamn right, only the most kino light breaks my barrier
Of course not. God, you're dumb.
Joe Don Baker was the bad guy in The Living Daylights and then in Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies was Bonds CIA friend.
It's more of a creative-meta than a shared universe. I think Cameron and Scott had very different ideas about "robots". Jenette Goldstein (Vasquez) played John Connors Foster-Mother in T2. There's also Hyperdine Systems vs. Cyberdine Systems.
This guy was a Bond ally in You Only Live Twice and then the worst Blofeld in Diamonds Are Forever. They literally only waited one movie to reuse both him and Joe Don.
That was bizarre. I assumed that the bad guy was still bad and that Bond had gone bad for a minute.
