CSI: Asshai

Yi Ti and the Five forts.
Literally The Great Wall movie plot but with white walkers and wights

I'd do something about a small company of westerosi young nobles escaping their land for whatever reason and chasing some MacGuffin all over Essos from Bravoos to Ashai.

Yeen

>The origins of Yeen are one of the greatest enigmas puzzling maesters and other scholars. Like the Toad Stone of the Isle of Toads, Yeen is built entirely of oily black stone, in blocks so large it would require a dozen elephants to move them.[4] Yeen has remained in desolation for many thousands of years, yet the jungle surrounding it has scarce touched it. Every attempt to rebuild or resettle it has ended in horror.[3]

>During the year spent in Sothoryos by some of Nymeria's ten thousand ships, Rhoynar settled in Yeen, where they had to contend with constant attacks from "brindled ghouls" from the jungle. At some point a boat was sent from Zamettar to Yeen, only to find that all people had abruptly vanished from the city. According to tales, Nymeria called it "a city so evil that even the jungle will not enter."[3]

2spooky

So did Tyrion really think a one handed man could row that little boat all that way?

also, the lower part of map

Volantis.
I'm interested in all the political struggle between the Tiger and the Elephants to take control of the Triarchy.
The scheming each side might do to try to gain the influence of merchants, mercenaries etc...
A sort of Game of Thrones but not spanned throughout a huge continent but rather in a decently sized city-state where the adversaries can encounter each other on the streets.
And with High Valyrian dialogue to make it kino

So it'll be like a prequel then on the horrors that the Rhoynar experienced or would it be like a stand-alone story?

inb4 Dark Souls

I already said another thread, but I'd have the story of an humble merchant from white harbour slowly making his journey east to ply his wares in the golden empire of Yi-Ti, and getting in various crazy adventures along the way.

You have to start in Westeros to keep things the show normies invested at first, and then things get further and further away and more fantastical as the show gets a better budget and moved further into the mythical eastern regions in later seasons

There is an exhibition map from artists that is approved by GrrM too. It shows ulthis completly.

And why should we come up with ideas that get stolen?
And is there a possibility to make a GoT story that gets approved by GrrM? And there are so many fanfiction outthere.

not him but
stand alone will be good

so is the planet flat? why do continents suddenly end

I'm having a hard time believing these Essosi nations not wanting to expand their borders.

right here

>/Game of Thrones/ instead of /got/
>using the subject line ever at all in the history of this website
>the dothraki sea is clearly a land mass
fuck you and fuck game of thrones

its going to be funny watching this series die without based D&D

I believe it's spherical. Maps are the way they are because they're uncharted territory and GRRM won't feature areas if they're not mentioned in the books.

Something bleak and dialogue scarce chronicling a demon hunter's day-to-day life in Mossovy, filmed something like The Road or anything else like it.

I will be honest with you. I fucking LOVE ASOIAF lore.

Attached: 3f10d20b79e171d9ef7448e02d9dd9a3.jpg (700x395, 72K)

They haven't been fully mapped out. The people don't have the advanced mapping systems that we do.

>I'm interested in all the political struggle between the Tiger and the Elephants to take control of the Triarchy.
Remember that Tyrion chapter in which that old wise widow hinted massive slaves rebellion in near future?

>the dothraki sea is clearly a landmass
user, I...

Yes, Westeros is like our earth flat!

yeah but its a fantasy world made by a fat mans brain. he can just shit out a map like tolken did

that but not brc island

Horror miniseries about people who went to Valyrian Ruins.

the world looks so fucking boring. its basically 2 rectangles

I agree, let the war drums be loud. Unite the 4 tribes under the banner of the reptile. Under the sunpriest.
March north while the dragon queen raptured their nations.
Now is the time to lead the children of men to their enlightment. And prepare for the war against the dark one, the pale one!

>nobody talking about the interspecies breeding or slave women breeded by monsters

Guess they tried to make it like old maps.

Attached: image.jpg (2650x2328, 1.55M)

Would be a interspecies story part too much or like the sex in asoiaf interesting?

>k'dath
>leng
>carcosa

i know lovecraft is public domain, but this is just pathetic.

Honestly Valeria but I'd have it be like Spartacus season one, with lesser families conspiring against each other until the slaves revolt, the magicians are killed, and the world goes up in flames.

Ulthos

Attached: 1lb16nH.png (696x696, 340K)

the maps are made from the perspective of Westerosi maesters, continents like Ulthos were pretty much only added in by GRRM to demonstrate their lack of knowledge of the world at large

>Implying anyone would want to steal your shitty idea, or that you would ever do anything with it in the first place

its just odd that it goes so far east, even to places barely mentioned in the books, but not so far south.

Yi Ti

Ulthos or Asshai.

Why doesn't it go further east? Wouldnt yi ti have maps?

The only reason Westeros is taller than it is wide is because he was drawing a map to fit on a single paperback page

ulthos is australia m8

100% this. the map layout is the same as a book

It's from a Westerosi perspective.

So?

All those reasons are basically what happened.
In The World of Ice & Fire it's said that Sothoryos (the small thing right under the summer sea) is at least as big as Essos.

>Jaenara Belaerys was a dragonrider who flew her dragon, Terrax, farther south in Sothoryos than anyone had gone before. She returned to the Valyrian Freehold after three years, having found only endless jungle, deserts, and mountains. Jaenara declared that Sothoryos was as large as Essos and "a land without end".[

I want to smoke ghost grass with fat ASShai goth girls, man!

Attached: DeerBotFlyReaumur.jpg (631x973, 168K)

I'd set it in Carcosa, and the main character would be the Yella Kang

and no people? did that ever happened anywhere as big as a continent in the history of the world?

They have brindled people or something. Ugga boogas who paint their skins in stripes or they actually have brindled skin.

In lore, humans ain't the only sentient species out there.

Hell, the Ibben are strongly implied to be neanderthals.

K'Dath naturally, because it's unknown and where the old gods now reside.

Question to bookfags: How much of this is actually in one way or another covered in the books?

>In lore, humans ain't the only sentient species out there.
>
>Hell, the Ibben are strongly implied to be neanderthals.
this shit in the books? don't remember any of this.

Something way out east, like Trader Town. Sounds innocuous, but everything east of the Dothraki Sea is supposed to be nuts. Like it's where all the high level monsters are.

literally just westeros and esos up to the Qarth. Most everything else is just mentioned. Never read/don't remember anything past the Bone mountains in the book, maybe just Melisandre's birth place. And certainly nothing about the global south.

What's in the show is more detailled in the books and we also see more places in Westeros.

It's mostly from other books published by GRRM

>Story starts after 8x06 of GoT
>Bronn has killed Dany, Drogon, and Greyworm and rode off for fookin HIGHGARDEN

>Show is a black comedy as Bronn attempts (poorly) to fit in with royal society
>Shows up to royal meetings surrounded by hookers
>Occasionally takes on kill contracts under a pseudonym because he's bored
>Tyrion stops by every once and a while to scold him and tell him to act like an adult

>theme song

>The Green Hell is a region in Sothoryos that lies beyond the forests south of the ruins of Yeen. It is said to be the home of beasts even more fearsome than those found in the northern area of the continent. There are reports of creatures such as pale white vampire bats that can drain the blood of a man in minutes, tattooed lizards that run down their prey and rip them apart with long curved claws on their hind legs, snakes fifty feet long, spotted spiders, and wyverns.[1]

Stepping into Witcher territory here, but how based would a monster of the day/week be in this setting

So you could say most of the more detailed stuff on the map is just made up for the map to make the world look a bit more immersive?

A lot if not most of these places are referenced in the books at least one time to make the world look bigger

>Bran's adventures through time and space

youtu.be/KIZ8WRHzZVs

For a fag that started got wit season 7 and some random episodes from other seasons is there a site that explains this map?

Thats what a criminal and con-man would say to lure someone into false security!
My idea is great!

>inb4 Dark Souls
It would make a great location for a Souls game

>muh Tolkien
>muh inspiration from subversion

Fat fuck forgot to mention he pretty much ripped off Robert E. Howard and Michael Moorcock for the 'eastern' stuff in the series.

Seriously, Asshai and shit wouldn't look out of place in a Conan the Barbarian story.

Attached: 876913-conan.jpg (900x1276, 408K)

i'd sail gallivant around like euron and become a madlad

You sure? I thought Ulthos is something like american native land.

Asshai

Guess the problem is asshai and the ash deserts.
In my fanfiction its like american waste lands that got devasteded by magic. Like our industry it got so advanced that they polluted the whole nature there.
Its a magic toxic wasteland, so noone got past this and ulthos and sorythos are so deadly or different that no maps got to westeros or yi.

Asoiaf wiki

The Lonely Light and the voyage westwards paralleling the discovering of America in our world.

he is ripping off lovecraft for filling the map

Yes, for instance america. Humans colonized it 35,000 years ago, while africa or chinas has 200,000 years of human settlements findings.

The problem is with so many popular fantasy books and series, its hard to come up with completly original.
And its normal to get inspired by them or even try to hail them.

the marketing people legit told D&D that Bronn's ratings were high and had to be included. You joke that Bronn would have a spinoff, but it might actually happen.

>pic is a proper shield wall tactic that d&d could never do.

Attached: TLK_101_15_nobug.jpg (1280x720, 859K)

I thought they had total creative control?

I mean I assumed that was a lie, but not a complete one.

See ya faggots im heading out to the thousand islands for an easy island hopping life

>The year is 345 AC. Westeros lives under DOTHRAKI RULE. All white males are sissified. White women live to serve DOTHRAKI KHALS in vast reproduction facilities. Welcome to Westeros's DOTHRAKI FUTURE.
>Alex Rivers remembers life before the invasion – before the king-issued hormones, the sissy wigs, frilly lingerie, and mandatory chastity. He lives on the war-torn outskirts of New Grass Sea, where he hides his beautiful blonde step-sister Kaylee from the clutches of the brutal New Grass Sea horde.
>As musclebound Dothraki riders prowl the countryside searching for fertile white women, Alex will stop at nothing to protect sweet Kaylee's purity. In his pink-and-blue wig, flirty sissy skirt, and fishnet stockings, Alex gives his tender white body to a gang of pitiless
Dothraki bloosriders: the ultimate act of courage and sacrifice. But is sissy Alex prepared for the overwhelming demonstration of power and domination? The encounter brings him face-to-face with his worst fears... and his most unspeakable sissy fantasies.

>thousand islands
Should we tell him?

>Not wanting a cute snakefu sucking the life out of you.

Anywhere in the summer sea
Literally Caribbean life just some place without niggers/monsters to chill and fuck bitches

>snakefu
What? Its more like Fungifu. Its the land of the orcs!

So the east is just full of monsters?

Hey, just like in real life!

And in lotr

No. Its more like unknown civilisations and weird tales from hear-say.
And the monsters are driven into the borders of the continents. Its like neanderthaler and the other human species getting driven to the border and isles of inhabital world.
