>"Saw the new Avengers movie last night. ENDGAME is amazing. Kudos to the writers and director. I cannot believe they got all those characters into one film, and still managed to do them all justice. The final battle was epic, exciting, thrilling, full of twists and turns… and strangely beautiful. But the character scenes earlier in the film really made it for me. The opening with Hawkeye, the Ant-Man scenes, Tony Stark’s moments communing with his helm… so many more. There’s plenty of action here, but this is not just A Big Dumb Action movie, of which there are far too many these days. Stan Lee would have been proud. Could he ever have dreamed that all those characters he and Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko and the rest of the Marvel team created in the early 60s would one day come to dominate global culture? There’s an amazing story for you."
>"Oh… and yay for the rat. The unsung hero. They should make him an honorary Avenger."
>"On other fronts… my imaginary history book, FIRE & BLOOD, had a good long run on the NEW YORK TIMES Bestseller List, hanging on for more than three months in the top ten before finally sliding off. But hey, hey, hey, as of this week, I’m back! My Targaryen history has reappeared at #9 on the hardcover fiction list, up from #12. You can’t keep a good dragon down."
How are books doomed? That said, I really dislike that this dude doesn't finish writing ASOIAF with the excuse that people doesn't leave him alone with other projects as if he couldn't say no, and it's other people's fault. He's really happy saying yes to another five fucking spinoff shows and spinoff books and a fuckton of interviews.

Winds of Winter is not finished yet and he hasnt even started A Dream of Spring
>They make millions and millions of dollars every time a new Ice & Fire book comes out, as do I. imagine being so lazy you could make millions of dollars writing a book but you just blog about football instead
Mason Flores
it's not like he needs more money at this point
Aaron Howard
If the rumours are bullshit why call them out? Seems odd. You ignore the bullshit and give them no attention. Yet he just did.
Jackson Bell
probably because an actor from the show said it, granting them some actual legitimacy
Yeah but not a current actor. So its irrelevant and the video has only been seen a few thousand times as its from a Russian convention.
It's not like its a viral video with 10mn+ views.
Nolan Nguyen
yeah but it's still an actor from the show, it's different than some random crackpot on the internet claiming it and i've seen a couple news posts about it

Didn't GRRM grow up reading comics? I'd be incredibly excited too seeing things I loved as a child being adapted on the big screen. Give the guy a pass
Sebastian Myers
>Not finished Book 6 >haven't even started book 7 >both books are planned to be between 1200-1600 pages
STOP PRODUCING TV SHOWS(FIVE!), STOP WRITING 2000 PAGE FAKE HISTORY BOOKS, STOP WRITING SHORT NOVELS FROM 100 YEARS BEFORE ASOIAF. STOP WRITING RANDOM NOVELS FROM DIFFERENT UNIVERSES.
FUCKING FINISH THE MAIN BOOKS.

Same.

>STOP WRITING SHORT NOVELS FROM 100 YEARS BEFORE ASOIAF fuck you dunk and egg is better than the main story
David Hernandez
>STOP WRITING SHORT NOVELS FROM 100 YEARS BEFORE ASOIAF. But the D&E stories are unironically better than the main books. And he has way more of a chance of finishing a few more of them before he dies than he does ever putting out Winds.
Charles Campbell
I honestly hate this piece of shit.

My frustration showing? My girlfriend is on 3 week long company conference tour so I'm horny as fuck. My frustration sexually is combining with with that fat fuck's clear laziness and apathy in finishing his book series and my sheer disappointment and anger in the cesspit that is Season 8 of GoT. I refuse to anymore. Last thing I got GoT related was World of Ice and Fire from Amazon.Well worth the purchase but I refuse to buy anything else. This wait is getting ridiculous now,I understand how hard it must be to keep track of so much but being honest about its progress would be a nice change.
I keep asking myself, whats coming first? Bannerlord or Winds of Winter? Former announced in 2012 the latter announced in 2010. Both are either in development hell or being done by extremely slow money hungry people feasting off the royalties(and government tax credits in Bannerlords case) of their brands.

GRRM not writing them is turning out to be genius, with the way the show is ending the bookfags will tell everyone in the world how much more satisfying the asoiaf universe ending is Disappointed show fans will flock to them and will buy the whole series to have to understand where and how much the tv and book universes diverge And if he has paid any attention he’s gotten an editors note from the entire world on how to adjust the various character endings his way so it will be set in stone and remembered as the better version

Did you just get linked to his blog from the other thread? I did too— like many author blogs it’s 90% shilling for other media: books, comics, movies tv shows etc.
