cartoon parody of Jazz Singer
al jolson
owl jolson
Funny that the parody is more well known the original movie
why did they try making the g*rmans out to be good guys
because we were
>retarded anglo and/or amerimutt doesn't know where his language comes from
>jewish owl
>based
A merrie melodies cartoon, it's called "I Love to Singa"
Yes
im singing it in my head just from seeing the thumbnail
>Funny that the parody is more well known the original movie
You mean the one from the early South Park episode? Is there another parody?
he's clearly meant to be black
It is true tho that most golden age cartoons were pioneered by jews tho. As a higher IQ race they're usually over-represented in most things
singa is niggas spelled backwards
An old Looney Tunes/ Merry Melodies/ whatever cartoon that's basically a 15 minutes version of The Jazz Singer with owls
Now it's stuck in my head.
Owl Jolson
its a parody of Jazz Singer movie (the first sound film)
Al plays a jewish guy who wants to sing cool music but his orthodox jewish family doesn't approve (his dad is a cantor)
ENOUGH IS TOO MUCH!
I always liked that line for some reason

You left out the blackface part, though in the movie itself I don't think anyone thought much of that other than a component of his performance. I honestly don't even know if that sort of thing was considered more a comedy act or just a music performance with a gimmick back then, because it's sort of falls flat as both to me
He represents the triumph of nigger culture over high culture, so no.
"I love to sing-a, about the moon-a and the june-a and the spring-a." The audio was sampled for the very first episode of South Park.
The owl cartoon is the parody, user. I guess you don't even know the original movie then.
he's a legend
Comedy, like the Japanese landlord in Breakfast at Tiffany's
Reminds me of my man Jim Crow
You actually think the old children's cartoon parody is more popular than the jazz singer? Lmao holy shit. I figured you meant the parody on that little known parody cartoon. I think it was the first South Park episode too. It featured a parody of the I love to singa bit.
I miss when they did faces like that.
