There's a lot of stupid ass movies you could find interesting if you consider the times they were made in, the people involved in the production, the craft (or the lack of), the impact, the target demographic and what's appealing to them and why, etc.

On the other hand, if you're an idiot and read Finnegans Wake you're still and idiot. Especially if you put it on a pedestal and say if other's don't enjoy it (because it's supposed to be sophisticated) they must lack intelligence.

To be fair, you caught Yea Forums at a bad time. Both the MCU and GoT are ending and we're on the threshold of summer. It's completely possible to have good discussions on Yea Forums and find people with good taste, you just have to wait for a few of them to miraculously wind up in the same thread.

First of all, film is the lowest form of art, as, in my opinion, it is the easiest to be tainted. Second of all, we can't have any intelligent discussion because we have to have 10 different super hero, game of thrones, simpsons, and /pol/ bait threads up at once.
