>Had a dick brother who practically raised her, killed in a horrific way. >Burnt the shaman lady who killed her husband, alive >Locked that rich guy and her servant in a vault to die >burnt all the other khals alive in a hut. >crucified 200 people, some of them werent even slavers. >She executed the leaders of the slave rebellion. >Burnt 5000 soldiers to a crisp >destroyed a entire house because they kept their oath and didnt bend the knee >manipulated jorah to no end. >raided and pillaged cities after cities, overthrowing the goverment in all of them and replacing them with nothing, resulting in rioting, anarchy and mass murder. >is hated by most in Westeros >Burned Varys for acting in faith of the realm. >feelings threatened by all close to her that don't have unfailing, unquestionable loyalty to her, isn't even trustworthy of her own love, who is not keen on her as of right now. >has a family history of madness and destruction.
>Is trigged by bells.
You can't say this wasn't foreshadowed like a mother fucker, especially in the last scene of the previous episode. It is within her character to do so. However, just because the mad queen ending for Dany makes sense, doesn't mean D&D are doing a good job at bringing it to the screen. Season 8's writing is still at this point some, if not the weakest of the series.
Only thing its living up to is G.R.R's desire to make the ending more complicated and realistic to human nature than other epic fantasy (IE: Lotr)
>How could y'all not see this coming? The epitome of a woman... >gets rejected for sex, goes crazy >make freeing king's landing all about her >overly emotional >virtue signals to others but in her heart a selfish cunt >low IQ and controlled by feelings
D&D just made the most honest kino in GoT history. 10/10
The problem was that it seemed that D&D wanted to please the SJW crowd. Luckily the desire to subvert was bigger than praise of a big portion of the normie fanbase.

GRRM's main critique of Tolkien (which ASoIaF is trying to refute) is the hopefulness of Tolkien vs his own nihilism. Happy endings are good. GRRM fails.
Brayden Campbell
I did. It's been her story arc since day 1
Nathan Carter
i didnt see it coming because i didnt think dabit had it in them. im sorry

Only showfags are angry because of the mad queen thing. Bookfags knew about it. But D&D did a shit job. Just watch the inside the episode. Shit like "Dany kind of forgot about the iron fleet" and "Euron wasn't paying attention". You can't defend this.
Don't pin this on D&D. If George R.R. Martin wasn't around to keep them in check the finale would be #Kween Daenerys crumbling the walls of Kings Landing with proudly #blacc and #LGBT+ fursuiters to put Cersei on trial for white privilege and internalized misogyny. Based Murder Santa is the only reason this hasn't devolved into a complete Star Wars-esque shitshow, he will ensure Daenerys the raging whore queen has a pike up her ass in the finale.
>How could y'all not see this coming? This. Everything she just did was in character. She has always had an adviser tell her when she's going too far. Now she doesn't and she went full MUH DRAGONS for the first time.
Joshua Howard
How come every time they talk they seem totally clueless even about what they themselves are working on
She has also ALWAYS had that "I don't really know what I'm doing, I'll just pretend because I just happen to be given the equivalent of nukes so people must respect me or else"
Aiden Cook
Shouldn't have burnt muh temple down and let your army rape us.
>Foreshadowed to hell since season 1 >"That's what she thinks our mercy is: weakness. But she's wrong" in the beginning of last episode >b-b-b-ut why did she turn mad??? these nĂ¹males are hilarious
Grayson Johnson
I actually think having her turn mad was a good conclusion to her arch but I just take issue with the rushed writing. There wasn't really enough time to develop her as being that crazy. It seems hard to believe.
If they had maybe made the season a little longer and shown her committing another war crime of a smaller extent, it would feel more natural.
They had her go from like 30-100 too quick.
John Bennett
>is triggered by bells Kek
Blake Miller
but if everyone was prepared for it happening there wouldn't be the shocking reaction which is pretty epic. All the signs of her being a crazy bitch were there she murdered thousands before had her dragons eat people all the time conquering and ruling countries and executing their elites and destroying their cultures etc
Angel Ward
She unironically did the right thing in the paramaters of the ASOIAF medieval setting. Nobody gives a flying fuck about dead peasants or dead enemy soldiers. Its all so forced to make her appear mad for doing what was perfectly rational
Tyler Wright
This. Aegon burnt everything and everyone who resisted him to a crisp. Tywin sacked King's Landing when Aerys let him through the gates. The Lannisters had just slaughtered all the Tyrells at Highgarden one season ago. This is morally just the same, though on a larger scale. I like Daenerys finally abandoning this whole liberator persona when faced with a people who don't love or want her. Her ultimate goal was always the Iron Throne. Anyone who would have tempered her worst impulses had either died or betrayed her. I like this turn and I only wish that the series would end with her ruling over Westeros with an iron fist.
William Hill
Completely agree with this. What if they rang the bells and she is standing down but then Euron shoots one of the dragons in the eye and that sets her off. That would have been better
Tyler James
I truthfully think they had no idea what they were doing. Imagine someone saying yes to this shit.
Andrew Garcia
Sure which is why I saw that from the beginning but her razing the entire city to the ground with every man woman and child is a big jump from those other things she did which usually had some actual reasoning behind it.
Noah Butler
I could even see maybe the bell triggering her to start killing a few civilians before snapping out of it but enough that the audience, Jon and everyone else realizes she's gone off the deep end.
It's just really hard to imagine she had gone THAT far mad that she would spend half an hour continuing to slaughter people.
James Lee
Soldiers are people too. Dany killed thousands of them. Burned them all alive. She started to lose all sense of humanity long before the bells started ringing.
Angel Reyes
but there is this weird way they speak as if they never watched the episode, as if they do not even bother to watch it, they just make it and say roll it out we're done here and go watch videos of....well we know what jews watch so it needs not to be said
Kevin Butler
