Season 7: Fully explain white walker's origins and motivations, wrap up everybody's plot points except "grand -planners" like littlefinger, fire and ice conflict and the cersei plot. Season 8: First episode completely devoted to people fleeing to winterfell and giving what little characterization there can be for the white walkers. Second episode is preparing for the fight, heartfelt moments, and some sort of master plan coming to a head (possibly between littlefinger, bran, and the night king). Shit goes south real quick and there's a massive battle that doesn't conclude, master plan is revealed. Next episode shit's almost lost half the episode dedicated to the fight, dany is mortally wounded by the night king and jon finishes her off, transforming him into azor ahai. The rest of the show is dedicated to jon coming to terms with pretty much being a demigod king and bitch slapping cersei
