I've just started season 7 so I can't even stay for the replies

Literally best beginning and ending to a series. What came in between was of varying quality, but usually great too.

>oh noes, he is stuck doing a shitty job for some years! truly the worst that could have happened to him!

What show?

It's like a wolf in a cage.

>t. never watched the series

are you retarded

not even the best cop show let alone best show

The shield

Was a tv show about a group of cops who were happy to bend the rules to get the job done
But still they were good police at heart

Anyways jokes aside, it's a good show. Has some boring parts but good none the less and the ending was the best ending to a tv series . Just felt so right

Another very good cop show was Southland
Good god do I miss it so much
So damn good sitting down and watching a episode of Southland

Only other current series that comes close to that real police vibe is Bosch

They should do a The Office type spin off with Vic Mackey 10 years later.

he will endure as he always did and come out stronger than ever

Your mom sure did lmao

>Southland cancelled
>Endless seasons of Gotham
Fuck this gay earth

Way to completely miss the point It upsets me because I can't talk to normies about it. It's one of the greatest shows ever made but when I bring it up people think I'm talking about the Wire, Justified, or worse Agents of Shield. I want more people to watch but some of the stuff in the earlier seasons really hasn't aged well.

Too bad the show's procedural storytelling is very bland.

It is though

Threadly reminder that Shane did nothing wrong

What if instead of Michael Chiklis as detective Vic Mackey it's Michael Dickless as detective Dick Lackey and he talks in a high voice and cries all the time

IM RICK HARRISON AND THIS IS MY PAWN SHOP

How did they get away with such an accurate portrayal before the woke crowd said "this actually happens and is beautiful" sometime around 2015?

>shows niggers and spics as violent animals
As a procedural it just reflected reality

NOT EVEN ON CINCO DE MAYOOOOOOOOOOOO

Season 7 is great, enjoy

>But still they were good police at heart
lol

Mr. Ass invader

>mackey is still away with all he's done

BUT IT SEEMS SUCH A LONG TIME AGOO

I feel like Vic got away with a lot more in the earlier seasons

>ends with comfy scenes of the strike team laughing with Lem

Corrine did nothing wrong.

>But still they were good police at heart
not exactly. Especially with the first episode. Sometimes they are good after that but they are still nonredeemable from the start.

Didn't this guy actually murder his wife in real life?

Did you all watch the mini episode before season 6 starts? It has Lem's funeral and some flashbacks. Not really good but just saying.
