>hans zimmer
yikes. There is literally not a single composer worse than him. I had a list of movies i dropped because the music made them unbearable. It was 28 movies on the list. Once i checked who made the music to them - 25 was zimmer
because no one could hear the fucking film over the top of the cunt music.
shit-faggot overhyped piece of cunt film.
No they're on par with each other. Try another one.
Vangelis of course
memes aside. This LITERALLY was better than the movie and the movie was so bad the author of the book sued them while Neil Diamond sold millions of Jonathan Livingston Seagull albums
TDKR would be a candidate as well
Best answer desu. I've watched that movie once, but loads of the tracks from OST (and the excellent Remixed album) are still on my regular playlists.
But to be fair there's no way any movie could be better than the Blade Runner OST
John Williams' soundtrack is the only reason why these films are so popular

only kino because of the soundtrack
Yeah, the OST still feels far ahead of it's time
If that wasn't actually Columbus and just some random Spanish explorer it could have worked. Aside from that the soundtrack is epic.
It's a big reason and credit where it's due, Williams did a masterful work getting every beat of the movie right. So much, that if you've seen EpIV a few times, you can tell what is happening solely by the music.
The intro is one of Horner's masterpieces
The movie was pretty meh, but the soundtrack blew me away.
100% this
Clint Mansell. Movie wasn't bad the soundtrack was just better.
As much as I despise the messy parts of this film, the soundtrack is fucking phenomenal and some of Hans Zimmers best work.
>Woad to Ruin - Hans Zimmer
Hans Zimmer is a cheat code and I won't be surprised if people will regard Dark Phoenix higher than it should be because of its OST
Feminist propaganda with a GLORIOUS soundtrack.
I thought he was done with superhero movies, but if he is composing the score then you're probably right on the rating prediction.
I love Tron Legacy but I secretly wish that it had been better
The Fountain
Limelight
The Battle of Algiers
Kill Bill Vol 1
The Graduate
Chariots of Fire
Flash Gordon (the movie is really entertaining though)
Lolita (Kubricks)
Salem's Lot
Assault on Precinct 13
Brainscan
Grease
Hackers
Superman
Lethal Weapon
Jupiter Ascending, toral trash of a movie with based soundtrack by my boy Giakkino.

Is Zimmer doing the OST for Dark Phoenix? First I'm hearing of it.
A distinguished gentleman with impeccable taste.
Not sure why he came back, but apparently he's doing the WW sequel too
Soundtracks?....Like "Batman Forever"?
Or talking the scoring?...like "the Fountain"?
Hes talking about the score, not "music inspired by the film" or those other bullshit soundtracks thats just pop songs used in the movie
