dany had a vietnam flashback and burned down a city

Cersei's army surrendered, but forgot to post a trigger warning before ringing the bells, so Dany slaughtered everyone in the city except Cersei for some reason. Jamie didn't get Cersei out in time because Euron teleported behind him and decided they were gonna have a big stupid fight, so Jamie and Cersei get trapped in the tomb and die when rocks fall on them. Cleganebowl was pretty hype. Arya dies like six times but manages to ride a mystical fucking unicorn out of the devastation.

7/10 episode, much better than the rest of the season.

Showing "war is hell" and whatnot but because of dany's nonsensical behavior and cgi that to me looked incredibly cheap and fake it didn't affect me at all not to mention that it felt really strange, like did we need that much screentime to show that dany isn't actually doing the right thing? Imho time should have been spent looking at dany going drakarys over and over and over and over again. I can imagine people running in fear I honestly want to see the state dany was it to commit such tangible atrocities for a sensible amount of time. This would have also taken out all the extras related errors with
intense focus on emotional moments of innocence getting plucked out instead of a bunch of people responding to vague commands. Like, did dany at some point start laughing? laughing and crying simultaneously? did she develop a joker voice?
