It had poor pacing and writing as has the last two seasons due to episode length (they'd rather go to SW and just get the checklist done now), but if I combine these parts with how the book should roughly go with characterization, it makes sense and I actually love it.
With that said, it had some real good shots in it and I did love Dany burning KL, Mary Sue Arya running through it, Cersei/Jaime's death, and Cleganebowl. Overall best episode of the season honestly, but that doesn't say much.

I laughed at everything else in this episode. But this worked me into an absolutely LIVID SEETHING shoot beyond belief. The one good character they had left completely butchered in every way, in 2 episodes.
The only decent scenes were Varys and Tyrion at his execution (even though the process that led to him getting executed was retarded and ham-fisted). Cleganebowl was acceptable and Tyrion and Jaime when Tyrion frees him.
My God I am so upset right now. I just started watching again to laugh at how bad it is. I didn't want to get mad.

This is what happen with Dany. She was seen as this perfect little queen who was "fierce" and "strong" and didn't need no man. They put her up on a pedestal, put her on a throne, saying she'd be a perfect queen. Projecting their own thoughts and feelings from reality onto her.
