/got/ 8x5 rate

How would you rate the last episode?
8/10 for me

Attached: XsAADrjH.jpg (950x534, 86K)

Season 8 so far is a 3/10. Even with sansa getting the iron throne can't make this shit better.

7/10
it's the best of this fucking season.

7.5/10
best this season

someone got a link to the episode?

take my dear

So was this scene foreshadowing ash, not snow? Or did they say "fuck it" with the vision

8/10
best season

Been waiting to see dragons in action for like 10 years. We finally see what they are capable of and now I realize what an idiot she is for not doing this the second she landed on Westeros

2/8, What the fuck is going on?

Attached: 1463757256369.jpg (766x960, 80K)

It's definitely snow, but I don't think it really matters either way. It was always apparent that Daenerys was going to incinerate king's landing.

It might actually redeem this trainwreck

Attached: 1535694402932.jpg (692x720, 164K)

>Normies have to deal with the fact thar Cersei was actually a more benevolent queen than Daenerys and only ever acted ruthlessly to her enemies

Snow for sure.Night King attacking kings landing in episode 3 would have been the kino but no dabid knows better

1/20

You are a cuck dude

not enough Dabid 9/11 porn
not enough bricks falling temple of doom style for half an hour

8/10

Honestly the next episode is gonna be the most interesting, the aftermath of her going batshit is gonna be good.

6/10, best of the season so far. Arya scenes went on too long and really just paralleled the slow parts of episode 3 also with Arya. Jaime and Euron meeting on the shore is too fucking coincidental even for D&D, and Euron not just talking shit and fucking off and instead wanting to fight after just swimming ashore makes no sense.

Cleganebowl is visually cool, especially the shot with the dragonfire in the background, but the fight itself sucked. Brienne and Hound was how it should have went done. Dedicated 4 minutes to a long fight with shit happening in the background, end the same way but it also lost any appeal when its just a big zombie

POOR OF MY GIRL

Attached: D6apgNMW0AAFhib.jpg (720x405, 22K)

dabids never bothered explaining what trggered her insanity genes other than lol targsanity so her telegraphed comeuppance doesnt have as ,uch literary heft as it is a calculated and rote development to tie up loose ends

best episode of the season, ending will be doo doo

Solid 9

3/10 snorefest

nothing really exciting

CAN you stop posting niggas please

8/10, why are normies disliking this episode ??

Season 8 is 4/10.

They didn't pick up on dany going crazy like 3 seasons ago

The chapter you fucker

KEKS sóys underages, and feminist
that's why the first 3 episodes happened, to please those bastard sons of whores.

Episode could have been like 40 minutes.

That's every episode

>Battle tactics a shit as always
>Dragon power level all over the place again
>Jamie-pirate fight out of nowhere
>Aryas ugly mug

Jon and tyrion were fine, Jaime and cersei ok, zombie fight a shit as almost every 1 on 1 fight, mad Queen great

5/10, 6 maybe for making the normies REEEE

I 7 and maybe 8 for making the normies REEEE

It was foreshadowing ash, but it looked liked snow. Hardly a fuck it.

8/10
Best since Winds of Winter for sure but possibly better, need to rewatch

This was before dumb and dumber went beyond the books. So it probably doesn't

This season absolutely killed the show and nothing can solve that, but this was a great episode amongst the garbage. It's flaws stem from the fact that the build up to it was rushed and nonsensical. This is the proper ending for her character arc and I'm certain it's the ending she will get in the books.

I rate it a solid 8/10.

Attached: Consider the following.jpg (1080x1920, 306K)

10/10 already for blowing normies and femishits the fuck out.

5/10. It's not insanely bad but it's also incredibly average. The season is too rushed for the episode to have the emotional impact it could have had. I felt bored for most of the second half, and that's despite a lot of major characters dying. I felt very little connection to what was happening on the screen.

Dany going crazy is a perfectly fine development, if it doesn't feel like she mentally breaks in 20 seconds because bells ringing triggers a deep emotional response or something. It's apparent the show is more interested in wrapping up character arcs than giving them the space they deserve.

Attached: 1519062668572.gif (330x272, 575K)

10 comeon you fucking faggots it's a tv episode that bests most movies

I'll have to watch it again but it was a 5/10 for me.
The fight scenes were disappointing (Jaime vs Euron was terrible, Hound vs Mountain was terrible until at least Hound kamikazed them both, the overall battle scene was boring and uneventful, Golden Company did squat).
Some scenes were too drawn out. Arya escaping King's Landing was too long without enough interesting things going on. I actually fell asleep on my bed watching it right as she was getting up and found Shadowfax (which turned out to be the end of the episode anyway but I didn't find out until I woke up).
Jaime and Cersei's reconciliation felt like the right overall direction but like NK was so rushed it rang hollow.
The OVERALL story is pretty good. I like Dany going mad and Jon/Tyrion's reactions to seeing the carnage unfold all around them and realizing they might have sworn fealty to a new mad king.

So far my rating for the whole season 8:
Episode 1: 5/10
Episode 2: 6/10
Episode 3: 4/10
Episode 4: 7/10
Episode 5: 5/10

Note these ratings are a bit weighted. Episodes 1 and 2 I'm rating higher because they're setup episodes that generally served the purpose they set out for, episode 3 should have been a really significant episode that fell flat, same with episode 5. Episode 4 is still my current favourite episode of the season so far.

>Episodes 1 and 2
these where the worst episodes. 2 hours of film just to discuss jon being a targaryan which we already knew

>Spymaster gets killed without executing some sort of plan and without finding out about it before hand because the hacks haven't known what to do with him for 3 seasons
>Despite Euron wanted curving 3 balista shots into a dragon last episode Drogon destroys the fleet and walls effortlessly without a hint of tension doesn't even get wounded.
>Hound and the mountain taking each other out was expected but fair enough
>Euron fighting jamie for no reason was retarded beyond belief and pointless (seeing as how jamie show no signs of worrying about his supposed fatal wounds) and contrived
>Cerci the YAAS QWEEEN schemer had no back up plan or plan of any kind
>1/3 of the episode dedicated to arira again.
>John snow cucked into oblivion again with the northerners ignoring his commands and being irrelevant to the plot.

Cerci not having any plan was just sad, they could have had her baiting daenerys into killing her with dragon fire after rigging the city with wildfire in a last spiteful act to ensure if she can't rule kings landing no one could and also ensure the people would never follow daenerys by making her out to be an insane butcher.
20 minutes of aria realising daenerys is unstable was also a waste. Why not have sanasa (who is supposed to be a 7d chess darth sideous character now) send her on a mission to 'kill the queen' thinking it's cerci only to realise she meant daenerys when it becomes obvious she's unhinged.

8/10
Drogon blacked everyone

Yea but they were necessary to set up the plot elements that were to unfold later on, so they largely served their purpose. The only real fault they had was using 2 episodes in a 6 episode season for this, but episode 2, the quiet before the storm was a pretty good episode all things considered (with the Night's Watch discovering the fate of the Umbers, as well as the 'last supper' scene by the fireplace), as was episode 4, the festivities after the long night and the last time all the surviving characters would be celebrating together.

fucking same

S8E05 was the best of S8, followed by S8E04. Based bowl

danycuck

This desu. All of a sudden, the white walker plot getting shafted for this doesn't seem so bad. If it were like this in the books as well, i think there would be more development. Like how the show skipped over what the walkers did after they crashed the wall, i think in the books we might see everything that happens after that so that the battle of winterfell will not seem like a anti-climax.

>Yea but they were necessary to set up the plot elements that were to unfold later on
they have been doing that for 8 seasons, non on the interactions where needed. Worst 2 hours of the entire series

muh kween
normies are actually retarded enough to think Dany was portrayed as a good character from season 3 onward

Easy 7/10, best episode by a huge margin, the acting from all Lannisters were superb, even for Cersei.

>i think in the books we might see everything that happens after that so that the battle of winterfell will not seem like a anti-climax.
I agree, I'm actually more hype for the book now

>no talky
>more fighty!

Nice!

8/10. One of the best episodes of the last few seasons. They really went all out. Cleganebowl was retarded and i never cared much for it so i thought it was a drag, but the rest of the episode was good. Tyrion's and Jaime's last scene was great. So was Varys, and for once, I'm actually starting to like arya post-season 4

Sneak pic of Jon and unexpected reinforcements from Reed against dothraki and unsullied

Attached: p.txt.jpg (1600x670, 260K)

0/10

Rushed garbage. Nothing alike to season 1 or 2. Might as well be some generic daytime tv series for shit director hacks.

you are all cutes

except danyfags

8/10, bretty gud

10/10, all the background actors looked like they had a lot of fun filming the scenes. at 38:09 you can see a guy barrel rolling away from the horses

Same. I can only hope that grrm doesn't delay too long and gets it done. He still another entire book to write after winds. Unless the rumors are true that he has already finished both winds and dream, kek.

At least with the previous episodes I got angry after watching them, however this episode was so shit i almost couldnt watch it til the end, like Dany getting mad for no reason, Euron not killing Jaime, the fucking crossbows missing the dragon

0/10

Based House Reed

what a jew , jesus

>like Dany getting mad for no reason
Its because she is a Targaryen, its not hard

6.5/10
Main complaints:
>Jaime's pointless arc this season. Totally ruined
>Arya plot armor. Everyone btfo except her
>Euron scenes. He's fucking garbage.
>Cersei should've been killed by Jaime or Arya or Tyrion
>Defeating them was way too easy. She never needed 3 dragons

Are you rating this show or the season in general because of it's visual appeal?

I rate series because of story. Story to me is the only deciding factor and this show/ episode doesn't cut it. To me game of thrones since season 4 has morphed into a morbid comedy.
I can't understand how people still feel for these characters.

Bitterblooms is the most underrated George RR Martin short story.

I know user, it was explicitly said in the first scenes but it was really badly executed t b q h

Story of whole season 2/10
Story of episode 5 : 6/10
Episode 5 visual effects : 9/10

9/10
4 was 6/10

Honestly 8 or 9 / 10.

10 if Arya got killed.

the more i think about it, the better it is. this is the opposite of ep 3 and 4 where the more i thought about it the worse it got.

that being said i wish when the bells were ringing dany had a flash back to rhaegal, missandei, viserion, and jorahs deaths. the fact she lost so much and realizing the surrender of cersei and people of KL cannot be forgiven wouldve made her madness more logical for viewers to follow

In the script ive heard its specifically mentioned as snow

8/10, best in season and better than anything in season 7.

Agree with this
I get autistic with battle tactics in 'historically grounded fantasy' and I cant look past them

0/10

It just keeps getting worse... it's fascinating to watch in some way.

>magic dragon stomps the entire Lannister army
>not a single ballista bolt made it close to it even though said heat-seeking magic ballista bolts killed Rhaegal with ease last episode
>Golden Company does nothing except standing outside the walls and getting burned to a crisp
>Jon does nothing, his useless character could be replaced by a carton cutout of Kit grimacing at this point
>Dany the Mad Queen was nonsensical, I expected her to go mad since S5 but the way it was done felt rushed and stupid, like flipping a switch into crazy.
>Jaime vs Euron fight was retarded as fuck
>Arya plot armor and a 5 minute pale horse scene... so deep!!
>Even Cleganebowl was dissapointing

The only part I liked was Arya getting a mother and child killed. That was unexpected, fucked up and realistic in line with the old GoT.

STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS STANNIS

8/10 BTW

How come tobacco isn't a thing in planetos? There's plenty of drinking but nobody smokes, not even pipes yeah? They can make all these spells and potions but no smokes.

By the way, colours are back, fashion is back, photography did a great job in the nuking of Red Keep, the Cleganebowl and Arya's run. Can Yea Forums appreciate that this episode had the best aesthetics?
Euron vs Jaime was dumb though, Euron was wasted as a character if bookfags aren't lying.

6/10
Nothing to rave about but much more watchable than most shows today.

All she needed was one fucking Dragon the whole time. She could have done it way back in season 6 when drogon was big enough to ride

what is your first post boy

3/10

Jaime's arc was kino. Anyone who disagrees is an NPC.

I'll give it a 7.5

i was on the "worst season ever" wagon all season but this was a really good episode.

Hey everyone! Its Jons Uncle Dickhead

this

Would dragonfire be strong enough to destroy buildings? Even The biggest dragon ever could only melt buildings not completely destroy them. What the fuck was Kings Landing made of? Styrofoam

0/10

Not gonna watch the last episode desu. The whole episode was just a nuke dropping in Kings Landing and Dabid going: "Look at our CGI!!!!". Worst shitshow I've ever watched.
Euron swimming up to the shore to pointlessly fight with Jamie made me laugh though. You can tell they had no Idea how to end his character arc.
At least you can still watch it as comedy.
This show is so bad it's hilarious.

>defeating them was way too easy

This was my biggest issue. We’re lead to believe the Golden company is this super elite sellsword army and they get BTFO in seconds. Turns out Dany only needed one dragon, half the unsullied and a couple thousand Dothraki who somehow survived Winterfell to completely shit all over the armies of the reigning queen of the seven kingdoms. Eurons fleet wrecks Dorne and Yaras ironborn, as well as Rhaegal and the unsullied in previous episodes, then gets solo’d by Drogon in this one. Dany could have conquered Kings landing from the start easily with just a fraction of her forces. And now that we know the white walkers are chumps, she could have sent the rest of her army north to deal with that while she takes Kings Landing.

>Dany could have conquered Kings landing from the start easily with just a fraction of her forces
That was the plan, but you know... D&D

It was a mistake to have so little lines for the Mountain, that fight was so underwhelming. You could barely make out the fact that they had history with each other in their fight

3/10, 2nd best episode of the season.

I enjoyed it far more than the others. I really liked how Jon lost control of his men and chaos ensued. Taking into account how disappointed I am with how the Night King was treated, I am a little more accepting now since the show looked like it was trying to communicate that the people of Westeros are scum. They faced a threat that was a danger to all of humanity and even after beating it they learned nothing. In the space of a few days they regress to murdering one another and acting without honor. It doesn't necessarily undo the damage episode 3 did but, I think this episode made up for it a little.
I am really glad that Varys was right because he has been one of my favourite characters throughout the books/show. Just wish he got to repeat his "I did what I did for the good of the realm" line, if only to be another 'fuck you' to anyone that supported Dany.

4/10

>Jaime's arc was kino.
Nah.
I was kino 2 seasons ago but now it's trash. They made him fuck Brienne for literally no reason. Also she'd have told him to fuck off and that she is as much a knight as anyone in that room (which they all would have agreed with) instead of playing along with the dumb knighting bullshit.

Nice use of symbolism when The Hound pushed himself and Gregor into the fire down below.

4/10
>lazy. Did bring no elephants for the jobber company.
>no ballista in the red keep
>cavalry in side small streets
>2 dragon vs 10 boats =lose,1 dragon vs 50 boats and 250 ballista=win
>north men become vikings
>teleporting arya get rolfstompped
>cuck the hound persona, gets defeated by punished varys

Best episode of the season.

How could she so easily dodge the ballistas this episode? There was only one target, and it was the biggest one theyve had to deal with

> AZOR JAIME

Attached: oopsies.png (2280x972, 1.59M)

3/10
Best episode of this season

Rushed as fuck making everything feel so boring and unimpactful
Not sure if they're intentionally trying to devalue everything, that sounds like too much credit
Major character arc closures that would take half a season to build up and half an episode to bring down are getting pumped out in two minute scenes

2/10
>b...but it made Redditors cry!!!!!
Fuck off, it was garbage as expected.

In their defense, D&D kept yass queening her actions that were supposed to be morally questionable at best and villainous at worst, along with removing any damning outside perspective of her rule in Essos. In the books, she's getting the mad queen reputation long before she leaves Essos.
>And Books, the clever Volantene swordsman who always seemed to have his nose poked in some crumbly scroll, thought the dragon queen both murderous and mad. “Her khal killed her brother to make her queen. Then she killed her khal to make herself khaleesi. She practices blood sacrifice, lies as easily as she breathes, turns against her own on a whim. She’s broken truces, tortured envoys … her father was mad too. It runs in the blood.”
>It runs in the blood. King Aerys II had been mad, all of Westeros knew that. He had exiled two of his Hands and burned a third. If Daenerys is as murderous as her father, must I still marry her? Prince Doran had never spoken of that possibility.

You mean it was snow before D&D retconned it into ash?

you write like a redditor tard

3/10
dragon destroys city for an hour.
cersei dies in rubble

8/10
definetly the best, and the only good, episode of the season. It was obvious for a while that they would go for the mad queen route but it went better than I expected. I hope they don't fuck it up in the final

Probably took more idiot.
They are not going to extend the ep 6 hours to see the destruction

4/10, visual spectacle cant stand up to the absolute ruination of any semblance of logic, consequence and nuance in the plot

Who kills Dany boys, Jon or Arya?

Cersei should not have even died. Too predictable

7.5/10

>yfw the Hobbit is actually better then Got

Attached: cadadb5ee63598ee424047b316370873.jpg (500x500, 20K)

Damn I’m starting to think this board might be full of retards who just like things the ‘normies’ hate.

i wasn't aware Yea Forums had such dismal taste holee shit

Tyrion you dummy

The Hobbit from 1977 is better than Got

that was not predictable at all
it was way more predictable that dany just goes fucking insane

The snow in this scene is the "For you" in The Dark Knight Rises. It meant one thing but was shown like it meant the other.

First two movies were almost perfect (except some CGi and asspulled Feanoring)

Joffrey is insanely hot.

>Yea Forums is populated by contrarians
Shit son, you figured that out yourself?

>tfw seasons 1-4 is LOTR and seasons 5-8 are The Hobbit

Attached: 1530254864625.gif (254x199, 714K)

>better than expected
I hope you are trolling, it was predictable, rushed and terrible writing. I wanted to see Dany slowly go psycho in a realistic fashion, justifying her actions as "necessary" as she burned those who opposed her, went more and more paranoid, and sacrificed innocents to win the throne.

Here she just goes "lel let's burn everything so random xd" for no reason. She doesn't even go after Cersei. In fact she AVOIDS going after Cersei and wastes time burning random civilians because fuck you.

Cartoon villiain tier. All that was missing was a shot of her cackling and twirling her moustache.

Loved the episode.
"Strong" woman in power is actually petty, too emotional and would kill thousands of people over the death of her loved ones, even though those thousands are civilians and surrendered soldiers and who are not responsible for those deaths at all. At the same time they showed that a nigger is very cruel and murderous and would do the same because a girl, who he couldn't even fuck, died.
Bravo D&D, redpilled as fuck.

I agree, especially the first one, it was really good. Almost LOTR tier, but they shat the bed after that.

DUDE KWEEN DANERYS SHOULD RULE WITH JON SNOW TOGETHER ALSO DRAGONS SHOULDNT DIE LMAO

Attached: 1533339109043.png (460x259, 101K)

It made me feel tense and uncomfortable in a completely different way we 3 did. Solid telekino 8.8/10

Also FUCK Danyfags
FUCK Dany
FUCK trannies

Just joking fucking idiot

it's a shit season all around
can't wait for the Fat Fuck to write the REAL ending

no idea how you rate Ep 4 good at all

He's 70.
Guys that size don't make it to 80, just saying

hey fucker, leave my fucking chubby and his cupcakes alone

jon and grey worm are gonna fight next ep, cause greyworm saw jon tell his men to not charge in, and greyworm is all or nothing with dany now. extrapolate from that, how will dany die?

5/10 i understand turning dany into mad lad but for fuck sake why does she BURN ENTIRE CITY NOT JUST THE CASTLE WTF? "the breaker of shackles"
my ass, they was talking about turning people to her side last first second and fourth episode
JUST BURN THE CASTLE TO THE GROUND why she burn entire city , again WTF

You seem like the kind of people who only ever use the extreme ends of the scale and think everything is either kino or shit.

>how will dany die?
has to be Jon

I can't wait to listen to all the REEES and feminist screaching. Burlington Bar reaction when?

7/10

Fucked up with Cersei/Jamie's ending scene. Season overall is 3/10

also it turned from logical cold and realistic medieval fantasy tv show to much emotional and subversive shity drama

Well, I had low expectations. I agree it could've been way better but considering the writing in the last 2 or 3 seasons, we're lucky to get this

literally one good scene, 3/10

Flames slice through stone
Jamie isn't even blonde anymore

0/10

I don't even care about the rest

9/10 just because Cercei died stupidly, expected to be more painfull, but ok - snake is dead!

The rules say you can only move a dragon to a tile that's adjacent to a burning tile

Someone has a massive fucking boner for Arya in the writters room, why the fuck is she the middle of every important action?

8/10, the Jews redeemed themselves

i think somewhere along the way she became the protagonist

Cowardly lizard fuckers!

> episode 4 is good
W-what

8/10. And anyone who says otherwise is a massive faggot.

They know what my dick wants.
Really blew an opportunity by whiffing on some steamy sex between Arya and the hound, though.
Poor guy probably died a virgin

Cleganebowl was good

i'd rate it b&r/10

thanks man

No, it was terrible.

The only right opinion

9/11

I was joking idiot :)

I wish it still mattered. Zombie mountain really ceased to be a character, and a "final showdown" needs emotional weight on both sides.
I felt for Sandor the whole time but it was like watching anyone vs a white Walker, only one side of that fight packs anything remotely close to emotion.

It's actually pathetic how incapable people are of forming their own opinions. E3 was clearly so much worse than E4 and yet E4 rated lower because the hate-wagon had been picking up steam all week. Then you have this episode which was surprisingly really good and people still rate it low because they wanted or were expecting to hate it. This phenomenon goes way beyond Yea Forums

When Varys died for nothing at the start I thought it was gonna be terrible (I know they only did it to hammer home the point Dany has lost the plot, even though it's been obvious to anyone but retarded NPCs for a good while, but it was still hamfisted).

The rest of the episode was 9/10. Cleganebowl was good, Jamie and Cersei dying in each other's arms, Dany fulfilling her arc of doing what her father couldn't (It would've been kino if Jamie had killed Dany before dying himself, but it will obviously be Jon that kills her now), effects, acting were all on point. And it's bullshit how Arya survived but the cinematography in the end scene was great

The celebration scene was good, Varys and Tyrion's convo was a return to form, Dinklage had a moment to shine.

na it was awesome, the mountain's only characteristics were brute force and violence, and a disdain for his little brother, all of those are intact in zombie mountain

ep4 was worse because it was all dialogue, which is the worst part of current GoT. ep3 had a lot of pretty action to fill time. the show's decent when nobody is talking.

7/10
Best ep so far this season.

they subverted your expectations bro

4/10. If they removed Arya, Euron, Northerners, I'd give it 7/10

Season 8:
>ep 1 - 2:
7/10
>ep 3 - 4:
2/10
>ep5:

>ep6:

the whole cast is too ashamed of it and commit sudoku prior to its release.

Attached: sudoku.png (394x394, 342K)

Episode 4 dialogue was more reminiscent to dialogue in the older episodes though, not like the quips we had in episodes 1 and 2.
And the action was handled pretty poorly in episode 3.

>"Yup, that's you. That's always been you."
Also the fighting in the streets was done way better than the long night, actually felt like a hectic fight for survival instead of Sam Tarly standing still and sweating for 10 seconds while tense music plays in the background

this

that bullshit scene with tyrion/jaime/bronn was bullshit

>the whole cast is too ashamed of it and commit sudoku prior to its release.
m8 they made it this far
This season is far from the worst

retroactively saved the entire series, I'm dead serious
10/10

You are a joke idiotini

10/10 no meme

Being better than season 7 isn't an accomplishment

Hey man it's on a budget

I have no idea but the salt is flowing like a river

Ep4 (and first half of Ep5) was literally GoT of old. Though it had rush-writing but it was watchable.
GoT had some great action scenes but it's never been its strong point.

Fucking A. Just because you post in the super sicrit Cambodian basket weaving board doesn't automatically make you any smarter than those shit eating mongoloids on Twatter or Reddit. This place has always been the other side of the retard coin, just one big circle jerk of aimless hate and self validation. Unfortunately episodes 3 and 4 happened to be when the broken clock was the most right. It extends beyond this place though, i have already seen some "critics" analyzing the episode and you can clearly tell they are just piling on the hate from the previous weeks and what seemed like reason in their critiques 2 episodes ago just comes out as dumb bias now.

Episodes 3 and 4 killed GOT, it is unsalvageable and this episode obviously can't do that but that does not stop it from being good and actually delivering a payoff to a character arc that everyone should have seen coming.

Attached: sigh.webm (1088x720, 1.51M)

They didn't even show Varys death, stannis fags btfo

Now that funds will have to sourced to rebuild King's Landing, who do think will have the better tax policy?

Attached: 1557197351682.jpg (1000x1102, 261K)

I actually really liked the episode just seeing Euron getting BTFO, dragons burning shit, Cleganebowl and the cool CGI of buildings collapsing.

I’ve literally become a normie pleb, one who I swore to never become at season 1, and who I repeatedly told myself I’m not through all 7 previous seasons.

And now I’m cheering at explosions and people getting burnt by dragons, and shouting fuck you at the screen when a character does anything retarded

I’m literally gone through the same character journey as Dany

Bravo DnD

Based retard

I had to think of Varys when Arya started coughing.

Pretty much this . Also why was the Jamie euron fight so Bad when it comes to cinematographie? 100 cuts in 10 seconds. Felt like I was watching taken 3

Yeah, what was up with that. You'd figure he'd be smart enough to completely circumvent them or at least realize they wouldn't agree to betray her. Hard to believe he survived as long as he did when he's that stupid.

>hurr why are stone buildings burning

Well it’s not like they were full of combustibles like wood or fabric or anything like that

That must have be on of the worst ep I've ever seen.

Targ fucking shits

It's hard to stage a coup when your candidate for the throne will openly resist it.
Nothing varys does will matter if Jon still refuses to rule

8/10 aswell

4/10, incredibly rushed

And i fucking hate the previous eps btw, like 1-3/10 average

WATCH A DIFFERENT SHOW

WHY YOU JEW

>I'm going to provoke Daenerys by killing Missandei and then...
Ok seriously, what was the next step in her master plan?

Attached: cersei.jpg (960x908, 112K)

Just in trust in Greyjoy it seems

Crashing this city

count on the iron fleet to deal with her considering it killed one dragon with ease with a single ship oh wait haha danny's immortal now haha oopsie

The best shot she had was luring Dany to the scorpions so it wasn't a terrible plan. What else could she have done?

>Preston: Qyburns part of the Dornish masterplan to undermine the Lannister’s from within! He’s the only white man in the brave companions, who committed atrocities in the river lands to make the people hate the Lannister’s! The brave companions all being from Essos and an expelled Maester all were associates of Oberyn! That’s why Vargo Hoat cripples Jaime and fed Amery Lorch to the bear, even when they would have been extremely valuable hostages
>Qyburn actually told Bronn to kill Tyrion without Cersei’s knowledge! That’s why Cersei didn’t shoot Tyrion at the gates when she had the chance to!

>show Qyburn: Aaargh no stop! I’m your creat-

By all logic she should have won. Her armies were intact, Danys dragons we're almost all dead.
If it weren't for the magically regenerating unsullied and dothraki forces and drogons recently-developed anti-magnetic powers, cersei would win

>Ok seriously, what was the next step in her master plan?
Crushing her exhausted army

>Iron Fleet randomly kills dragon during majestic scene
>lines the wall and fills the Iron Fleet's ship with scorpions
>"durr we didn't point any at high noon we're fucked"

Attached: 1543001738518.jpg (1366x1759, 1.1M)

Her only killing Danys associate and not ordering the archers and ballista opening fire was the first time she’s shown mercy, by offering her enemy the chance to walk away, as she knows the pain of losing a child like how Dany lost one of her dragons. She was letting Dany go back to Essos or north with her surviving dragon/child

The one time she shows mercy is the decision that leads to her and her entire city dying in dragon fire

Do you think this was the tragedy DND were going for?

Whats the deal with Martin and Sibel. They seem close

How did Drogon simply destroy the Iron Fleet and every scorpion in Kings Landing? Why did scorpions go from being able to hit three bullseyes in a row to not being able to hit anything? Why weren't any of the scorpions firing? Many of them didn't even appear to be manned.

>normies are the ones who don't like the episode
I can see you justify your opinions by how contrarian they are.

humanity in the end was the greatest threat, very grrm.
internalized evil is his kink.
I have no doubt that this is what grrm intended

Not everyone is being talked to by weirdos with glass candles Preston. Dany is just insane.

Why does this season feel so cheap? Everything about it just feels really small in scale.

Based Martin

If you look at the design of the ballista platforms last episode, they actually don’t have enough space for the users to fire at threats over the city, only outside the city

They literally couldn’t shoot at Dany while she was flying over KL lmao

His hand was forced because the destruction of Kings Landing was TOMORROW.

The mountain didn't even really hate Sandor more than the average Joe, he just hates everyone. That's part of why the fight was so shit

shit season, absolutely based episode but still shitty
7/10 at best but based

He's giving her his fat pink mast

No airhorns, 4/10.

9.5/10 absolute fucking kino

So is Jon mad too?

4.5/10
Like The Long Night, most of the direction was good (better than TLN), but the actual plot was pretty shit.

They did sneak one in, it's drowned out by Drogon flying past.

>Crashing this city
>WITH NO SURVIVORS

>have a normalfag friend who loved 8x3
>said to me today "GoT is shit now"
>ask why
>complains that the writers are forcing Dany into being a psycho
>I don't watch this show, but ask him "hasn't she been burning people alive for years?"
>goes quiet for a few seconds, gives me a sideways nod with a sassy faggot expression
>goes back to complaining about how he liked Cersei but not Sansa anymore
What does it mean?

Attached: 1513795744241.jpg (500x303, 38K)

An ending where Jaime, Cersei, and baby live in a cottage by the sea would have been ultrakino. Almost thought for a second it might happen.

D&D heard all the complaints about dragons not wearing armor
So they gave him plot armor

I almost don't blame her for thinking she was going to win. Before this episode, Dany had been absolutely retarded with her dragons. The Night King fucking one-shots one of them with a spear and the other gets killed by Dany not noticing a fucking fleet of ships. She almost gets Drogon (and herself) killed by landing in a field full of wights. Cersei didn't expect DABID suddenly making Dany competent.

Why do people think this episode was good? I'm confused what's good about it.

Good episode, but suffered from the same symptoms as S7 and 8 otherwise have of being rushed
S7&8 both being 10 episodes would have fixed it probably

Attached: 1557249655293.jpg (844x636, 70K)

hypocrisy

That it's only ok for Dany to be a pyromaniac psychopath when she's killing people who don't live according to our modern, 21st century Western moral standards.

It's ash. Bran sees this same vision again and Drogons shadow over Kings Landing. D&D always knew it would come to this

BURN FAGGOTS
Aha ha ha ha
HA HA HA HA HA
OHH THAT FELT SOO GOOOOOOOOOD
Dany please! Dany please!
Aha ha ha ha ha ha
Die screaming you pieces of shit.
Dany forever!

I dont remember the last time I ever gave an episode a 10/10. I'd probably have to go back to season 2 of the wire for one, but this was a 10/10. This was one of the best episodes in the history of history

Attached: 1556490371726.jpg (600x400, 56K)

mexican high schooler Yea Forums being contrarian, as always

It was still rushed because Daenerys always had a reason to kill people before, and executing people is something that all of the characters have done (Arya, Jon Snow, Ned Stark, Stannis, Robert, Cersei, etc.), there was absolutely no reason to kill all these people because they already surrender. There's no reason for Daenerys to hate them or Cersei either.

6/10
Better than all the other episodes
However it is still shit because the Cleganebowl sucked and DUDE AYRA ON A PALE HORSE LMAO

>>Spymaster gets killed without executing some sort of plan
He was trying to poison her

I didn't think so. Most of the criticism I've seen of that scene were the logistics of him tracking them down and ambushing them but that wasn't really outlandish to me given spy cells exist even up north. Him being tired of being strung along by Lannisters was why he wasn't too friendly.

anyone else here think that the real subversion of expectations is in the leak? maybe it was 90% correct to get us to buy in to its authenticity but the final episode will be something else

just sayin

Fuck jannies and fuck whyyy piipoe'

Tbh she was absolutely right with that
In every other world that dragon would have been dead in a hail of ballista projectiles but by the power of DEUS EX MACHINA it wasn't.

Finally, a good episode

10/10

It saved the show for me after 2 years of stupid shit and mindless girl power or Shanza rape

Attached: _pol_-_Operation_turn_Dany_into_a_nazi_symbol_-_Politically_Incorrect_-_4chan_-_2019-05-13_01.53.50. (1421x1335, 752K)

It means you have shit friends, loser

this, "she's not eating", "we'll try again for supper", he was trying to poison her

I can totally see this is what happening lol, you faggots have no opinion, just take whatever normies are thinking and make the opposite your own views, then everyone in the board agrees with that. And I thought you faggots were spot on about episode 3 being shit, I now see you were just brainlets repeating shit.

You know the worst part about this episode is that it feels so unearned despite it being exactly what the show needed. The threads that Dany was evil and genocidal were in the series as early as like season four. If they had not botched the lead up this could've been incredible.

Imagine if they had more time to not fuck up the Night King and the Long Night. Imagine if we slid more softly into this twist. It would've been so much more satisfying if they had not fucking tripped over the last two seasons to get us to this point.

9/10 (also my rating on the reddit poll_

Best of the season.

I see. Thanks lads

I agree. All my friends with good taste graduated last year

She underestimated airpower. Easy to do in that world

I feel like there was not enough time to make her actually have a plan, they had to kill her ASAP.

These are absolutely my thoughts, this is the best conclusion we could have had, but it was rushed as fuck and it makes no sense as it is now.

>It was still rushed because Daenerys always had a reason to kill people before, and executing people is something that all of the characters have done
Yeah it is. But when Edd or Jon did it they never took pleasure in it. Dany looked like she was having an orgasm every time

Getting mad queen and a mediocre cleganebowl doesn't make up for all the other retardation going on, faggot

Not true
The mountain is a known kinslayer, having killed his sister and father. He really doesn't like having family

>The threads that Dany was evil and genocidal were in the series as early as like season four.
Season 1. Look how she reacts to Drogo's speech about what he will do to Westeros

I just think it feels weird. Jamie vs Euro felt like Jack vs Locke as the island is breaking apart in Lost. Hound vs. Mountain just felt retarded after a series of 1v1's grounded in reality.

>How would you rate the last episode?

-100,000,000,000/10

About average for the season

8/10 because it hit some nice dramatic notes that were completely missing until now, like Tyrion speaking to Jaime or Cersei and Jaime or Sandor and Arya.

Ep. 1 was 5/10
Ep. 2 was 4/10
Ep. 3 was 2/10
Ep. 4 was 6/10

this is what normies actually believe

he is not in his own city, barely has resources which take time to build up and he has time until tomorrow

and she even gave her consent to have her brother killed, she could have pleaded for him not too, of course Drogo would disregard her and do it anyway, but she could have tried

For me the 3rd episode was a 6/10
So now i gotta give episode 5 a solid 5/10

Flip a coin and find out

Just found out this fag eats "gluten free". What a fool.

Like 1/10
Worst episode I've ever watched.

I'm sort of disappointed that cersei got to die with jaime instead of alone like the dumb bitch she was, why did she get a good death instead of a horrific one?

Attached: 1549908383136.png (371x353, 148K)

She also brings an army of insane genocidal rapist savages to Westeros.

Honestly if I didn't know better I'd have to give props to Dan and Dave, this set up is actually really impressive. If they hadn't botched the delivery it would've been great.

>comparing the masterpiece that is the Winds of Winter to this pile of trash.

I hope /our guy/ is still alive

Attached: 1.jpg (1920x1080, 157K)

no, jon is not a pure blood targ

probably impregnated 10 kings landing sluts with his northern thundercock

The mind of the writers works like a switch, you can only have one villain at a time and that makes everyone else good.

Agreed. She smugly got Lady killed.

9/10 for the show as a whole. Redeemed the very poor last 4 seasons.

It was an amazing spectacle to watch.

butchering and rushing of characters like dany and jaime sour it but the sheer visual destruction was incredible to watch.

you of course STANNIS

U dumb? He only had one day!

Episode 3 was kino

144p bait

Have sex, tranny.

Preston is a fag though.

Can we stop calling these hacks by nicknames? Makes them sound competent or some shit.

They should be in the same dustbin as JJ Abrahams or whatever his name is.

Normies wanted a yaas ending with her being queen and john being her cuck husband. Instead they get the opposite. The thing i dislike is that they made her go mad way too fast. Should have burned the enemy soldiers, leaders and opposition even after surrender but burning innocents was too rushed and out of character, she would have needed a few additional episodes to gradually get to that point.

It had some decent shots in it, but a fuck ton of fluff. Cleganebowl was just stupid and made no sense. Serci's death was wastws, Arya played nontrue role, except to watch in horror and react.
I do like that I was proven rigjt aboit Dany, butnI'm sure she'll die like a bitch, just like the last 2 baddies did, so who cares at this point?

I'd rate it a 6/10. It felt longer than it was, and aside from the Dany murdering everyone bits, it was boring.

Are there any leaks for the last episode yet?

I never bothered with leaks ever since the season started, but the writing is so bad that I just wanna find out how tf it ends

Attached: 1550991294624.png (188x259, 55K)

since 3 days ago or 2

...

Because it pissed off normalfags. Literal only reason

Well they did fucking crucify children

And Dany burned children. They're all evil people by our modern moral standards.

What are you guys talking about?

Yeah, but she never did shit like that before now. In season 4 one of her dragons kills a child by accident, and she locks both of them up while crying to keep anymore Innocents from dying. I like pissing off normalfags just as much as anyone else here, but this came totally out of the blue. Completely out of character

we don't know yet

>why did she get a good death instead of a horrific one?

Would been nice to see her beheaded like Ned or some horrible death.

>blew up an entire city block to kill 3 of her enemies
okay user...

>take the leftovers to the kennels lol the poor don't get shit

yes they did. they explained after the show that her gradually losing all of her trusted advisors (selmy, jorah, missandei) and being stuck with a dickless murderer as her only friend left her isolated, and that isolation fueled her insanity (which had been pretty well established since season 1 when she burned a rape victim alive).

d&d are hacks but they definitely explained it.

100% exactly this, thank you
This episode was extremely good, my only complaint is about Arya, personally.

In the novels she travels around Essos fucking everything up, destroying the local ruling classes without replacing them, besieging and executing anyone who refuses to bend the knee and so forth. Back then the only thing keeping her back were her counsilors, Jorah, Barriston and the likes. Then she eventually just fucking leaves after devastating the entire region and left without anyone keeping her in check, she finally does as she wishes. Her unbalanced and emotionally driven, mad, methods of ruling were clear from the start.

this episode was the best of the season, but that's like being the smartest retard

Nice argument, episode 1 and 2 could have been condensed into 15 min and we would have lost absolutely nothing of value
