At the risk of sounding edgy, I think they should have shown the Dothraki raping during the sacking of King's Landing. Not in a sensationalist sense, but the idea that they're going on this rampage not because they serve Dany but because they want to and war brings it out of them. The killing got partway there, but given who the Dothraki have been built up to be, it felt really odd that there wasn't even a hint of it.

Same. I hated 3 and 4, and when I realized the leaks were right early into this episode I was ready for it to suck, and then it ended up being great. Sandor's arc wasn't total ruination. If anything, it was the closest thing to a good complete character arc season 8 has given us. He suffered and nearly died chasing revenge, became a better man helping others, found a higher calling and helped save the world, but when it came time to move on for good he couldn't. Him willingly diving into the flames to take his brother with him was kino.

Now if you want a character that just got ruined, look to Jaime. He didn't really develop at all as a person. He stayed the same relatively noble man with a bad reputation and a bad sense for others throughout. He just got more and more pathetic and ineffectual.
