Eh, the first 3 are kinda of a trilogy. the 4th was beneath them.

The first one was unironically great. The Sparrow/ Barbosa dynamic worked and the plot, aesthetic and lore where cool. It should have ended there. 2 and 3 are inferior but still decent cashgrabs.
4 was already bad... 5 went full retard with that Poseidon shit but it´s also boring and predictable. It´s as if they did not understand what made the first one good in the first place. In another time Pirates 5 would have been a direct to VHS/ DVD/home video tier.
