Infinity War? Yes. Endgame? No.
If Endgame didn't happen, he would have been top 10.
Wow "ends justify the means" villian, so deep
that's not tim curry
Ledger was better so it's not even the best capeshit villain
Onions
>Infinity War? Yes. Endgame? No.
It's the same dude
Endgame ruined everything his character was built up to be in Infinity War.
>not knowing about word filters
Yikes, first day shilling here bud?
Ledger was a literal cringelord. People only consider it good because he died.
Endgame Thanos was a one-dimensional bore. Infinity War Thanos was alright.
>Endgame ruined everything his character was built up to be in Infinity War.
How?
this, but it was the same dude before most the hardships and stuff so retards dont like him
Its a shame endgame didnt build up on the character but its pretty obvious they couldnt have, with that plot
>Russos make Thanos the main character of Infinity War
>Character develops with conflict and sacrifice on the way to acquiring the Infinity Stones, and then finally making the snap at the end and getting his victory, at a cost
>Endgame
>He's killed off instantly then replaced with past Thanos who hasn't been developed so he is now just a generic baddie with no stakes
It was a god damn tragedy
>he is now just a generic baddie with no stakes
But he's going to destroy the entire universe user
>can't even beat Wanda
What stakes? The heroes could have beat him anytime but the writers wanted a longer battle scene.
Yeah, that was the worst part. In IW, he had a plan, he had reasons, and he had evidence which even the heros struggled to deny. In Endgame he just throws it out the window because 'fuck everything, I'm evil, destroy the universe'.
Okay retard.

His reason does make sense though, he took a half measures and it failed
More like Thanos won but Russos couldn't figure out how to defeat an all powerful villain so they turned said villain into a jobber and then used time travel fuckery, which inadvertently caused an infinite amount of plot issues for their universe/
I thought his motivations were weak in IW. They give us his logic, but no real reason why he actually embraces this logic in the first place. What they should have done was give us a flash back of young Thanos, watching Titan be ripped apart by the strife caused by lack of resources. Instead he tells us what happened, when showing us would have been 10 times more impactful.

Perhaps, but that monologue scene happens directly before a big battle, so it wouldn't have flowed well. Besides Thanos is on a mission, he doesn't have time to tell his whole life story to Dr Strange right there and then.
>I thought his motivations were weak in IW
It's even worse and more cliche in Endgame though. Instead of going for the balance he's just going to destroy everything. Not to mention Thanos in Endgame isn't as interesting or charismatic as IW Thanos. He was underwhelming as fuck.
>Perhaps, but that monologue scene happens directly before a big battle
True, but in my mind they could have put this flashback in the middle of the film, just a short 30-60 second scene, giving us some emotional impact to what he witnessed to drive him to create his plan. Thanos comes off as cold and rational, which isn't terrible, but it isn't great at the same time, it lacks a certain punch that would have sold him.
They could have fit it in when he is talking to Gamorah, not a flashback per say, just a bit of foreshadowing about the the state of Titan, which is then revealed in the exchange with Strange.
Infinity War Thanos was so fucking good. in Endgame he just felt... :(
>MCU villain
>not get punk'd
It's funny how the snap was a meme, and now it's...not.
Nope. I can't imagine IW Thanos abandoning his ideals so easily
Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Vulture are better written, have more satisfying endings and they're all from different Spider-Man movies.
