Based Akira at the top of the list. Might I suggest Perfect Blue?

Inception
American Beauty
Cloud Atlas
The Last Samurai
The Revenant

Interstellar

Really liked interstellar but the black hole being a dimension of time that can be manipulated really seemed forced to me. Overall I’d give it an 8.

imdbcore: the thread

The Big Lebowski
Thief
Sorcerer
The Tenant
American Psycho

If you end up liking this watch Blow Out. Similar themes of paranoia and conspiracy, not as good but it's a De Palma so you should know what you're in for.

Apocalypse Now
The Last Picture Show
Nashville
Alien
Wages of Fear

Pulp Fiction
Split
Interstellar
Searching
John wick
Not necessarily in this order

Nightcrawler

Mister Roberts
The Sting
Le Samourai
Sideways

The acting is really good and it really had an unique take on split personality

American Psycho
Pulp Fiction
Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
Fight Club

All classic, old movies from the hollywood golden age (LOL movies suck now!), and all American because haha who wants to actually READ when they watch movies????

Special commendation to the first 10 minutes of UP!

Dead Man
The Man Who Wasn't There
Manderlay
The Wrestler
Nebraska

Split is actually fantastic, I think it is Shamalamadinggong's best. McAvoy is terrific, the tension is real and the scenes with psychotherapist (which I think are underappreciated) bring a nice balance and insight to the rest.
Glass is shit btw.

Movies-
>The Shining
>Hell or high water
>American Psycho
>BR2049
>Prisoners
TV-
>Breaking Bad
>Justified

I wanted it to end. I really don't like split persona movies. There just a pet peeve of mine. Same with zombies. The scenes with the psychologist were kino though. Even if it's unlikely that a group of her colleagues would need to be convinced like that in this day and age.

Avengers
Avengers Age of Ultron
Avengers Infinity War
Avengers Endgame
Captain America Civil War

Chinatown may be up your alley

Yes, I did like that one quite a bit.

Not liking the split personality is not the movie's fault i dont like the zombie concept either but that's just because they expoited that ideea so much there cannot be another movie that can have an original take on it

If you've seen that maybe try Sideways, Boogie Nights, and Inherent Vice. And if you've seen all those watch The Great Beauty
