Yea it was really great. I really liked the first Iron Man movie too.

Even this movie's third act was kinda meme tier - "le save the mixed race mutant children..." Charles' seizure scene was kino as fuck though.

Easy, superpowers and whole superhero backstory is just it: a basis for a sci fi action. It's good as a standalone movie. It works even better as a conclusion to xmen movie series. It tells a lot and not directly in many cases. It fails in the end with muh young wolverine and something about that video diary in the beginning doesn't work for me at all. But it's an ending to wolverine long going arc. In the of our lives you fags will struggle to remember marvel and dc stuff, but xmen is where actual good capeshit was.

>muh loli
>muh clone

Days of future past is a lot better tbqhwy

In superhero genre only origin stories and endings are fun to watch. Everything in between is meh.

>still no sequel

Then again, it could be even better once the superhero craze dies down

Why do people pretend to hate grimdark capeshit? It's easily the most tolerable kind of capeshit

And great marketing. The first trailer is fantastic.

What did OP mean by this?

It is pretty overrated, the editing and pacing are fucking awful, (specially in the farm action scene with wolverine’s clone) the way the villain was killed is laughable, and the only redeeming qualities are the performances. It was only popular because it is R rated and edgy.

It's uninteresting because it's a tired trope. Like a movie about a retired boxer/cop who has to come back one last time to protect an innocent and you've seen the same movie 50 times. "What if Wolverine was old and depowered?" is about the least challenging way you can approach the character

Unironically everything.
Even the end.
It felt what chronicle should have been and did the whole gritty future past aesthetic perfect.
I wish we got more movies like this.

Into the Spider-Verse is the best capeshit of the decade.Hell, it was one of the best movies of 2018 but people would rather not admit that because it's animated. No, this is not bait.

A lot of propaganda in this movie. It wasn't that good regardless.
>Little girl beats up a bunch of grown men
How original....

For me it's watchmen

So what would you have done to give jackman's wolverine's a better ending, genius?

Immature people get some kind of weird kick out of watching children kill.

engage in intercourse

This, the worst part of all is that the director and normies referred to the movie as “muh arthouse film” just because it followed some stupid trope, there was even a black and white version that was marketed as the the true version because old noir movies dude lol, it is at the same level as Jesus allegories and “german expressionism” Zack Snyder fanboys.

of only they didn’t go for a gimmicky animation tyle that makes it look like an insurance commercial

The director made himself look like such a fool in interviews by saying it was a real movies for big boys when it was just the same trash everyone else is making, albeit with more blood.

I wouldn't try to make capeshit kino for starters

>pedobait
>cringey civ nash black family that's basically a retread of the old people for xmen origins wolverine
>generic mustache twirler
>tired old villain wants to make super soliders plotline
>that fucking black family again, i just need to mention how sterile and lame they were, blatant propaganda
>the kids fighting the solderers at the end of the film

Marvel movies are better superhero movies, even when many of the superheroes got their own standalone movies, they were able to work together as a team and even each got their own characterization rather than focus on one superhero. Fox studios didn't care about the X-Men as a team, they only cared about Wolverine because he was raking in the money, that's why most of those so called X-Men movies are mostly about Wolverine.

With Laura

this
its funny how many plebs bought it though, just like this thread.

It went to shit when they introduced clone Logan. Everything else was good, even though it was just Last of Us.

Literally every plot is a tired trope. It's the execution that matters

I don't get it, this movie was barely 6/10, with unmemorable fights, and shitty kid actors

It's a good movie script-wise about a dying lonesome old warrior who finds purpose and redemption by saving his daughter's life and ensuring hope is kept alive by helping a future generation to possibly thrive.
It just so happens to have superheroes in it.

>shit second half
>multi cult kids vs evil white male villain
>pro immigration message
It was dogshit

But that's not this decade, user.

Look how many absolute shit movies it took to get us there.... the Wolverine movies up until this were effing garbage.
