Woody Allen may be a gigantic pervert but god damn he can make a good movie.

midnight in paris is very "comfy" and infinitely rewatchable movie for me but it's not really exemplary of woody allen

Comfy

Anybody else thought they hit you in the head too much with the message?

this. top tier late night comfy. Note even in my top 3 Woody Allen's, but I've seen it the most of any.

with this film it felt like he wasn't even trying and it was still good.

Also agree it is very rewatchable.

I want to live inside this film

Woody Allen is a pedo who wishes he could travel back in time and fuck lolis

This, The Man from Earth, Grandma's Boy, and Stardust, are the quadfecta of lazy Sunday movies.

its just woody jacking off to people he admires and the time period, but despite that its alright

its kino

alison pil as zelda fitzgerald was a total qt...

Interesting concept but overall a tremendously dull movie. At least Woody Allen didn't have the main character fall in love with a black girl though.

>you're in love with a woman from another time
>i see... a photograph
idk why but that line is lodged in my memory. simple yet beautiful. the surrealist conversation was great.
>i see... A RHINOCEROS

she got that one punch man head

>Black people
>in a Woody Allen film
I can only think of two examples: the old-timey maid from Purple Rose and the prostitute from Deconstructing Harry, but never, ever, a love interest

2 hours of owen Wilson saying "wow", no thanks

you took the alison pil

Pretentious and boring

What's pretentious?

It insists upon itself

wrong, try again
