It's kinda funny to me, there's a faction at Disney who seem devoted to full CGI actors and it's always awful. It was awful in Tron Legacy and it was still awful in Rogue One.

MPC are at least plausibly capable of it (they did the young Arnold in Terminator Genysis, and the Rachael in Blade Runner 2049), but they have to be trying to replicate the look they're working from EXACTLY, and the Marvel movies have made de-aging actors with the expertise of LolaFX a gimmick they keep going back to, because Lola can actually pull it off.

But at Disney there's some idiot who just says "we can pull it off with computers! Because computers can do anything!" and no one pipes up
