Every single shinobi that participated in the Chuunin Exams would get casually destroyed by an average jounin. Gaara, Neji, Lee, Sasuke, every single one. Named character bias makes them all look more impressive then the red-shirt NPC ninjas but the gap between Jounins and Genin is massive.
