Now that we can freely discuss Endgame, discuss your Endgame theater experiences. For me the funniest moment was what someone said when Black Panther showed up.

Well are you going to tell us?

I didn't go.

best was moment when they shoehorned all these roasties, people nearly physically cringed at it
also "booooing" moment when cap marv destroyed big spaceship
t. not a burger or bong

t. things that didn't happen

I thought there was a firewall preventing your country from accessing Western internet?

was it a very loud black woman yelling
>"WAKANDA FOREVAAAAAAAAA"
because I think that happened every time for everybody

I've never seen a Marvel movie in theaters.

If I watch Endgame it will be because its on Netflix, and theres nothing else to watch.

mine was a small black child who just said "WAKANDA!" really loudly as Black Panther came through the portal

I don't know how it's been five months and people still haven't heard that Ant-Man and the Wasp was the last Marvel movie that will be on Netflix.

My theater went YIBAMBE when Black Panther started saying it

When Cap lifts Thor's hammer, some fucking idiot in my theater yelled "IT'S HAMMER TIME"

Nobody said anything. I hope that faggot started crying from embarrassment.

I went to a VIP Cineplex theatre at 10am on the Friday it released. Despite this time it was 90% full, because of costing double a normal ticket it didn't have the riffraff and because of the place serving alcohol it's 18+.

The seats are paired off and I ended up next to a boomer who wasn't particularly familiar with half the movies, so I ended up explaining things to him. Thank god the paired off seats are built to allow this small chitchat from disturbing others.

Only real moments because of the mature crowd was laughter at certain jokes and some crying at Widow and Tony's deaths.

All in all a pretty good experience, got to eat popcorn shrimp and a chicken burger while watching.

Genuine question, does that theater serve crab legs? I want there to be one that really does.

>A BOMBAY

Do people actually shout this shit at movies? It's one thing if its a cult comedy film with an expectation of a theater audience interaction, but Endgame is a new fucking release as an action-drama. I'd have to imagine people want to watch the movie and not listen to hecklers.

I'm afraid not, but they have a lot of stuff normal places don't.

Theaters are kind of like posting on Yea Forums, everyone is basically anonymous because it's dark and hard to see so because they're American they see that as a free pass to say whatever they want with no repercussions.

>Group of t. incels walk in and find their seat.
>As one sits down they brush against the other.
>One goes autismo, and screams "Please don't touch me. Thankyou VERY much."
>Entire group laughs.

The guy in front of me said “oh no , not black widow” sarcastically as she fell to her death. I looked around and there were people giving him the stink eye. I laughed

right as black panther and his friends were coming out of a portal I could’ve sworn somebody whispered “ oh shit caps getting mugged”
I don’t know if anyone else heard it but I did see some people looking around as if to find out who said that

Everyone knows it's Ollie who does the mugging.

Attached: 1548658233128.png (768x1366, 2.05M)

that's hilarious

Attached: stare.gif (1024x576, 400K)

A few laughs at Ant-Man and Thor being a useless fatty.
Groans at the scene with all the women gathered together.

Sometimes when I'm telling stories on Yea Forums I change the details slightly on the off chance that someone I know comes here and recognizes the story, which lowers the chances of them asking me about it and allows me some plausible deniability in case they do.

kek

why would you care?

that was probably one of my old friends. he would scream out retarded shit in the middle of the film and we always laughed at the cringe

A bunch of obese white guys in maga hats started crying when captain Marvel showed up and when black panther showed up they cried "it's over, we're done for"

Teens and minorities.

First Avenger is still the best non-IW MCU movie, and Steve had all the best bits in Endgame.
Hail Hydra
America's Ass
Singlehammeredly wrecking T-dog
Retroactively going balls deep in Peggy for 40 years.

that line is funnier than all the "humor" the russo brothers put in that movie

>First avenger
>Thor is thousands of years old
Talk about a Mary sue

Idk why sjw's complained about no gay representation.
Just look at the hulk, if that doesn't scream homosex. Then idk what does?

wasn't there that one dude in captains support group that talked about a date with another dude?
sounded pretty gay to me

Guy sounds pretty based.

Hulk looks like a big green fag

Saw a matinee today in a reasonably full theater... almost no audible reaction throughout, other than a few sniffles during the notable deaths.

It was Friday night and I was super depressed that I didn’t have anybody to go with so I even posted a Craigslist ad looking for somebody. Then I just decided to go Saturday night at a showing at 330 am in a place far from where I live where there’s less population density so that the showing would be mostly empty. I just felt like shit even more but I decided that I work hard and deserve to watch the movie without feeling like a freak so I went to a showing Friday night at 230 am in a theater near me. It was scary and I was kind of sad the whole time I was walking up to my seat but for the next 3 hours I was happy cause I got to spend them with characters that I have been following for decades. I felt proud after it was all said and done

Thor is older but Cap was the first person to join the team called the Avengers.

You shouldn't feel bad about going to a movie alone.

Tony Stark was the first to join you retard

I don't go to the theater, I watched it on Spankbang.

This is funny

Is it? Is it really?

When Captain picked up Thor's hammer and started smacking Thanos around I got full body goosebumps and a half chub. Fucking best part of the whole movie.

Did anyone else think the first half of the movie was kinda lame?

Me too except it was for the part where he said "That IS America's ass."

Uh hu

>went to see it in IMAX
>entrance on the left side of the theater
>sit in the very back row, middle-right of the row
>when i bought my tickets, i saw there was a big ass group of people sitting to the left of me
>take my seat with my friend
>big group of people still not here
>nobody sitting in the left side of the row
>then the movie starts
>like eight people come in as a group
>these eight people fucking walk all the way to the opposite side of the theater, up the right stairs, and go all the way down the row from my end
>i'm 6'4" and have long ass legs
>i scoot back in my chair as much as i possibly can
>they apparently aren't happy with that, and just stand there
>i tell them 'i have long legs, that's as good as it's gonna get, sorry'
>then they start going through
>two of them nearly trip over me, several walk right into my knees, one steps on my shoe
>they all sit down, lady sits left of me, but leaves a seat between us
>she puts her purse in the seat
>her phone vibrates several times throughout the movie
>some autist in front of me is farting throughout the movie
>movie ends
>the stupid fucking group of people walk out the right side of the row
>AGAIN several people nearly trip over me, step on my feet, etc.

That who last fight sequence was actually really good. One of the best scenes in the MCU

Went to an IMAX showing, reasonably fine. People clapped when cap picked up thors hammer and when spidey showed up but what can you really do about that.

No he should

It comes out August 28th on DVD, so you'll be waiting until Disney+ launches in November to stream it.

Man you know he's not gonna buy Disney+. Which is ironic because Netflix is owned by Disney.

I like going to movies alone, even when friends want to come too. It's less distracting and I ussually have the seats next to me free because couples want space.

People started shouting "Ibambe"

I like taking myself on "date nights". Get a good steak, see a movie then buy a bottle of Glenfiddich 20. Ussually after an /out/ing.

So does Loki get a spinoff after that escape with the Tesseract?

Weekend at Loki's

I don't think it's coming to Netflix. The Disney contract with Netflix is winding down.

>Captain America's first movie literally called Captain America: The First Avenger.
>IRON MAN WAS FIRST

You are literally retarded.

Was it something funny about the ratio of a certain demographic population and crime statistics?

>they show fortnite
>all the little kids in the theater start cheering
also I had to kick a pair of foreigners out of my reserved seats AGAIN. going to movies sucks

Went to see it a second time this afternoon. Majority of the audience was Wakandan but they behaved for the most past until near the end. At the very exact moment TS dies and the entire theater is quiet, a Wakandan voice behind me I loudly says, “Aww fuck that. It should’ve been the racoon!” BIG laugh.

Nobody else in my theater even noticed besides me and I'm 28. I didn't realize so many old people watched Marvel movies.

This was actually a genius post lol good job

I dunno. People laughed at the jokes. I think what got the most laughs was stuff related to washed up Thor and the Hail Hydra scene. There were a bunch of kids in the row in front of me who started arguing over something in the last 10 minutes until somebody went "shhh" at them. A single guy actually clapped at the end. It's a small movie theatre in rural Germany, Lower Bavaria isn't exactly the capital of nerd culture, thank god, but people seemed to be having a good time.

A kid started sobbing during the end scene with Captain America

I was the only one who laughed at Hail Hydra. I don't think anyone in that theatre knew what Hydra is.

I go to movies all the time alone, especially movies like this that I care about. Nothing to feel ashamed about user, I'm not a nerd at all and I do it and my brother does it so I know I'm not the only one. It honestly makes movies like this better viewing. Now I don't go 8pm on a Fri/Sat night because thats a little much but anything besides that is fine.

Oh user..i-its going to be okay. Hang in there.

It would actually be pretty scary for a little kid seeing him magically turn into an old man and he has no idea why.

i was next to a gay couple that cried and shook in their seats over every little thing that happened. they had a complete meltdown when sam said "on your left."

I had the theatre where:
>some dude said "hell yeah" when thanos got decapitated. Some people giggled.
>everyone loved "Americas Ass."
>Any somber moment with Tony/Steve/Scott Lang was met with "awwws"
>people were surprised with Black Widows death.
>very audible gasps when Scott Lang was at the window and got blown up.
>everyone loved hulk and thors comedic relief.
>"ooooo" was heard when they showed the elevator scene similar to Winter Soldier then audible hearty chuckles when cap said "hail hydra"
>people cheered when "come and get your love" played.
>dead silence as a msyterious figure picks up mjolnir, then absolute eruption when it shows its Cap murica.
>everyone cheered the loudest when Spidey and Black Panther came back.
>guy next to me asked his friend "wheres groot" as groot shows up on the screen.
>avengers assembled brought back the same eruption.
>tony hugging peter made everyone go "awww"
>Wanda got that "fuck you" look when she sees thanos got the dudes go "oh fuck".
>"I am Iron Man" got everybody gasping.
>everyone sniffling and a few women were crying at the end.

Probably the best theatre experience ive ever had.

there were less little kids seeing shazam when I saw it than there were seeing endgame. but I went to a Saturday afternoon showing which is a pretty family oriented timeslot

I don't see much benefit to going to a movie alone when you could just watch it at home and have the same experience without running the risk of some loud jackass in the theater. Plus you have subtitles which is very useful for a lot of movies where you legitimately cannot tell what is being said. Though that wasn't a problem with this particular movie, it had pretty good sound mixing.

They forgot to turn off the lights during the trailers, and after we (audibly) complained they turned them back on when the Marvel logo appeared
Legit made me wonder if there could be a way to experience a movie around release date, but without having to deal with crowd/technical fuck ups, like an early blu ray you could watch at home with your friends, but I couldn't figure out how to prevent potentially leaking the entire movie in HQ

How was captain America first? In what way? Nick fury went to Tony Stark before cap was even thawed

>Legit made me wonder if there could be a way to experience a movie around release date, but without having to deal with crowd/technical fuck ups, like an early blu ray you could watch at home with your friends

>around release date

That's the logo for Netflix originals you dolt, they control the release date.

>>people were surprised with Black Widows death.
i was, she was not someone i expected to die honestly, i was even more subverted because her movie had been all but confirmed

>guy next to me asked his friend "wheres groot" as groot shows up on the screen.
based

I can't explain it to you, you'd have to do it a couple times yourself. its very relaxing for some reason, i like to go mid day on a random week day after getting a massage. one of the most enjoyable ways to relax i try to tell people to try it because it feels like i unlocked some secret code or something

Exactly the same experience for me, down to the proportion of chub. Easily thr best part of the movie

Really solid actually. Saw it opening Friday. Kid next to me had the snivels, but it was a superhero movie and I could tell he didn’t want to miss it because of a runny nose, so let it slide.

Good times all around

holy kek

>theatre experience
My experience was great, because I never watch this kind of movies in theatres
