>People pretending GOT wasnt a cheap shambled together low production show in S1 and didn't improve over time considerably

Dexter
Weeds
Lost
Supernatural

The low production was fine because the first book was comparatively light on magic. 2-4 were highly (and rightly) revered and people blame season 5 onward as the decline. I thought 6 was overall good but 5,7, and what we've seen of 8 has been Rickon tier.

Boardwalk Empire, except it holds up all the way through season 3.

LOST

The whole first season was carried entirely by Khal Drogo, Ned Stark and Based Bobby, other than that the only thing going for the show were the gracious amounts of tits.

better call saul

Breaking bad

If a show ends a season with a horse's ass and you haven't dropped it after that, you have only yourself to blame.

Attached: 1446690681027.png (626x683, 265K)

there’s only 3 seasons but Drawn Together

Patrician as fuck

Star Trek TNG

hellooooooo reddit

The Leftovers

you're a complete retard. That show's peak was season 2. slow downhill slope after that until season 5 it fell of the cliff. don't even bother replying to me because you'll be wrong.

Ya I'll agree with this but for me it maintained proper horse texture for longer than OP's picture.

Sunny was golden with no drop in quality through season 8. A true miracle.

those where great all the way threw
and the lalo scenes are stupid

Mad Men

Attached: 5367ac82eab8ead320c44727-750-563.jpg (750x563, 62K)

Always Sunny. Including how Season 1 is pretty much fucking nothing and gets great in seasons 2-4.

Same. I'd say it started going to shit at around season 8.

The Venture Bros.

Star Trek Next Generation

Shameless

Toast of London

Enterprise baring the last episode

Deep Space 9 and yes even Voyager

S8 makes me sad for Hardhome, it's like getting a gourmet appetizer and the main course is reheated day old fast food.

I agree although I would shift the peak to S3, and it going off the rails in S7 although S6 was mostly meh except for Broken
Personally I like the Amber arc in S5

Battlestar Galactica, the sections are 1-4

True detective

>The whole first season was carried entirely by Khal Drogo, Ned Stark and Based Bobby

Well it's a good thing those were pretty central characters in season 1. It should be carried by the ones getting a ton of screen time.

GABA GOO

I, Claudius

the dark knight trilogy

True Detective.

That show is so fucking comfy.

Attached: TPhorse.png (1555x1080, 750K)

what's the show about even?
and does that mean that s3 is good?

terriers

Sopranos in reverse

It's what happens when David Lynch showruns a TV series, backs out after he was forced to reveal the killer too soon, and then going all out starting with the season 2 finale.

Season 1 is literally the comfiest any tv show will ever get. Cool detective comes to a town to investigate the death of a girl. Show gets progressively weirder and weirder as things go on.
Season 2 is a mix of brilliant, insane, and boring episodes.
I haven't seen season 3 or the movie, but S3 is supposed to be the best part of the entire show.

that implies that dexter was ever good.

Simpsons

That cartoon horse show that cannot be named.

S3's certainly the most insane. If it ends the story there it's even a satisfying conclusion after mulling it over. FWWM is great, especially paired with its deleted scenes.

How did no one mention Luck yet? Especially with a horse's behind.

Stargate

Cowboy Bebop

Bebop was an entire horse in one season.

Dexter, breaking bad

So the season 2 is the best one?

Attached: 50BF3A66-65E9-40E9-AE98-611F854F2A1A.jpg (216x960, 20K)

Drifters

this

The Expanse

The Terror, although it was essentially the entire horse in the only season it had.

Family guy

All four seasons of the OC

Always nice to see The Prisoner on Yea Forums

Deeply underrated. Except it was full horse, not a fragment.

Im still shocked at how long that show stayed good for? Any recent jems? The episode where mac and dennis move to the suburbs was pretty good and that was a much later season

Twin Peaks except season 1 is the pilot

Daredevil

Harry Lloyd is still the best performance in the show.

Accurate as fuck, hardhome saved season 6.

The last 2 seasons were pretty trash.

The shield would be opposite of this.

Rick and Morty

MitM. Yeah the Jamie seasons weren't as good, but the quality was still very solid.

Name one that progressed like that, but reversed

>IASIP

Attached: mac gay dance.png (1366x792, 708K)

Hardhome was season 5. The ending of season 6 was Battle of the Bastards and The Winds of Winter, arguably the two best episodes in the entire series.

That show made me want to eat chenoweth's pies, if you know what i mean

fuck Friel

This

Venture Bros

Attached: 6l9f97acmb601.jpg (398x705, 70K)

Fucking plebs, LOST was great for five seasons. Only the final season was kinda weak, but still had its kino moments and the finale is the biggest pleb filter of all time.

carnivale

X-files.

Dexter

>Season 4 and 5
>good

Gotham.

It was obvious since season 2 that Lost's writers had no idea whatsoever where they were going, and every season after that made it worse

4/10
Terence Winter, who wrote the best episodes in previous seasons, and Matthew Weiner, who went on to make Mad Men, made the final season

the sopranos

Black sails

Trailer Park Boys

thng had its best time in the middle of ots run. Season 3-5

mission hill

buffy

youtube.com/watch?v=Z4w4MEkZLWg

Literally all of them. The quality ALWAYS drops. It's a tactic they use to get brainlets addicted to the show.

True Blood

no

Line of Duty

This is accurate

You don't know shit

yes

why is his right hand just hanging there not doing anything?

At least GoTshits had iceman holding Arya by the throat to make it somewhat believable

Battlestar Galactica
Don't (You) me

Dexter

Hannibal

Firefly
Tripped
The Prisoner
Constantine
666 Park Avenue

Ubisoft and Canadians are literally retarded.

always sunny

Everything after season 3 (AKA Bubbles - the show) was shit.

d&d knew were got was heading and they fucked it up

making it up as you go along won't neccesarily make the show bad

where is season 2, 4 and 6?

Hard agree. Only show with no drop in quality throughout

Weeds was like this. I guess they realized you couldn't really progress a story about a suburban soccer mom drug dealer very far.

Falling skies.

This is truth right here. Sure The writing is all over the place, but somehow, every other aspect is amazing, the atmosphere, character arcs, acting, music and endless kino moments and tension for five seasons.

>s1-7 wholesome
>s8-9 strangely comfy and warped with peak moments
>s10-12 bullshit

I don't get it.

This is accurate.

Community

seinfeld

Parks and Rec is a realistic horse in the middle with stick figure ends.

the image shows the creation completely degrading in season 3, which is pretty close to what happened in GoT.
Sure 2 was a minor step down from 1 but close enough.

>season 5 is mostly good

You people are a bunch of plebs.

South Park

spbp

I'm done.

Gotham's the exact horse in the OP but reversed.

Six Feet Under

twd

Yeah you're right there was only 5 seasons, not 7

20 Y E A R S

I N T H E C A N

>taking it up the ass

No, Dexter was a mountain. It rose to a peak by season 4, then nosedived like a motherfucker after that.

Once upon a time

oh please, its always sunny died after season 6, before the season where they go to jersey

Firefly is trash. Buffy is trash. Whedon was always awful and I held the belief before it was popular.

Cowboy Beebop

seinfeld
while i do enjoy slow paced shit, early episodes move way too slow. people always bitch about the earlier episodes suffering from not being funny, but they just move at such a slow pace

every 90s Star Trek series. TNG, DS9 and VOY are all guilty of this

Longmire

Game of thornes

Star Trek DS9

The terror

Attached: final-space-hulu-streaming.jpg (1280x720, 187K)

Moral Orel

>season one is a horse's ass
based

This show is supreme r3ddit, maybe even worse than dick and memey

Game of thrones and Dexter. Although with Dexter 1 and 2 were good, then 3 sucked, but then 4 brought it back and was really good, and then every season after that was worse than the last.

Fuck, I hope

Attached: worried.png (666x563, 480K)

The only thing that improved with GoT was the budget. Which meant fuck-all anyway because they started blowing their budget on retarded mindless battle scenes and CGI, while also cheapening on the set locations, costume designs, writing, etc

Futurama before it came back.

It's Dickon.

Attached: images(4).jpg (225x225, 8K)

Heroes.

Archer for sure

>people posting the sopranos
that show got better as it progressed and one of the rare shows to do so.

Attached: 3470u.jpg (498x615, 44K)

Freaks and Geeks

damn, imagine if they'd done it the British way and spent the extra money on more extras and scenes filmed on a grander scale with no CGI

I didn't say they were good. I said they were great.

burn notice

Attached: 1545538782657s.jpg (16x16, 725)

That's because, until recently, they contained their political BS to a single episode a season. If you watch those, they totally undermine the entire message of the series. If you skip them, it's a great show.
Like I said, if you watch them, then a show about a total asshole who abandons people he believes to be his kids and generally just shits on people is treated sympathetically, but anyone who disagrees with the far-left on abortion, guns or the right to face your accuser is a monster beyond all hope.

>only particularly awful seasons are 8 and 9 anyway
>points to the Leviathans and season 7
You dropped something.

No show has ever progressed like this, are you all fucking retarded? What kind of show skips every other season?

Game of thrones transition should show good horse to shit horse to monkey

Lol no it fucking didn’t. It was bad after season 2. 3 was absolute dog shit and 4 was semi ok.

The Walking Dead

No, only cinematic shows with elaborate season-long storylines.
Shows that start with a concept often hit their stride in season 3 or 4.

>season 2
>bad
here's your (You)

>Name a TV show that DIDN'T progressed like this..

> and the finale is the biggest pleb filter of all time

Attached: culture.jpg (1024x576, 51K)

Really? Because to me it's been the same shit since the beginning. A few good episodes, a few bad episodes and a whole bunch of average one.

The Walking Dead because of this

south park peak is after the first few seasons

House

Supernatural 7 is narratively more consistent than 8-9, which have a lot of stupid plot points (the vet Amelia), recycled plot (angel and hell civil wars, an angel trying to be god) or tons of retcons

babylon 5

John Doe

this unironically

Yes no shit it only had 1 season

winner winner chicken dinner

Top Gear
Rome
The Thick Of It
Veep

they quit giving a shit and needed to end it so they can work on the next star wars trilogy

That time when they were taking speed, was both fucking what-tier and great at the same time. God damn I need to rewatch it.

Don't insult monkeys like that

>forgetting Season 2's complete shitshow

Seinfeld
