I loved this world so much

I loved this world so much.

>"I HAD A LITTLE BABY BROTHER! AND HE WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!"

Just the tone and atmosphere was great.

You should play the Mad Max game as well. It’s a pretty good standalone story and expands on the world.

Was surprised at how much they nailed it too. Didn't think they could create a more lived-in world than Mad Max 2, but lo and behold...

Why does reddit like this so much? It’s fine as an action movie but there were a lot of parts that had clearly been fastforwarded in post and the world building makes no fucking sense

I disagree, they didn't really need to dwell too much on the world because you could feel it. Like its liveliness was inherent. If they make a sequel, I would say then that's a time to delve deeper into things, but as it was it was a good balance of action and worldbuilding. It was clearly setting something up, but Warner Bros is being retarded right now so we may never get a follow up.

Road Warrior > Thunderdome > Mad Max > Fury Road

Fury Road is a good movie and all it needed were over-the-top squibs and big smoky fireball muzzle flashes, as if even the barrels of guns are coated in diesel.

hey man, you're completely entitled to that wrong opinion.

This is true, but that is like saying

9.5 > 9.3 > 9.25 > 9

i raise you one
road warrior > mad max > thunderdome => fury road

road warrior is literal 10/10

Too short. By the time you get fully upgraded there's nothing to do anymore.

It’s not short at all if you go for all the sidemissions and exploration options. It’s a solid 50-60hour experience. It’s probably the best movie game out there.

Because "muh practical effects" and "le meme one-liners and epic firey guitar man" impresses their adolescent brains.

this pretty much sums up all the praise for this film. what's the point of all the practical effects if you're just gonna ruin it with shitty CGI anyways? road warrior feels gritty and realistic, fury road looks sterile almost with how perfectly clean everything is.

Hello R*ddit

You know a movie is literally perfect when the only thing you can do to combat it’s awesomeness is saying that another board also finds it well made. It’s like disliking a movie cuz your mom likes it.

contrarian

this

Exactly. Doing those side missions unlocks the upgrades. It'fd be nice if there was a way to reset all the outposts and camps so you can go at it maxed out.
Not that I don't recommend the game since it's usually cheap, just leaves you wanting more.
Also the ending is fucked.

>but there were a lot of parts that had clearly been fastforwarded in post
No fucking shit, sherlock. That was entirely intentional.

Fury Road used very little CGI. I don't understand what you're complaining about.

>"YES HE WAS PERFECT NOW LET'S CUT OFF A PART OF HIS PENIS"

what the fuck is wrong with /pol/tards.

you seem confused

I didn't like the (((american))) dub of this film either

This really should have gotten a sequel or spinoff (or both) by now.

Sadly there's a payment dispute between Miller and WB preventing it

i hated it. it looked very very pretty, but every minute felt like a grind.
